The cottage is absolutely beautiful and so much care is taken to ensure it is super clean and welcoming. The environment and surrounds are calming and serene. And it's an absolute bonus to be able to walk across the paddock to have a coffee from the coffee van on a Sunday morning.

This was our third stay here at Jacaranda Cottage, and it did not disappoint. My only complaint is that (judging from the visitors' book) it seems there are many others who consider it to be 'their special place'. We absolutely love it here and will return again. Thank you so much!

Perfect base for Perth hills

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. Everything was provided plus many thoughtful extras. We enjoyed some of the great local walks, restaurants and wineries. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The bed was very comfortable, and we were delighted to find generous breakfast provisions waiting for us—fresh eggs, bread, fruit, avocado, cheeky chocolate, milk in the fridge, and even some ice cream! The views of horses and alpacas in the surrounding paddocks were beautiful, and the private access gave a real sense of seclusion (the main house is only just visible in the distance).The wide verandahs offered lovely outdoor seating, while inside we enjoyed the cosy lounge and the wood provided for the fireplace—perfect for a relaxing evening. The gorgeous ensuite was another highlight, with a big clawfoot bathtub, bath salts, and a candle for a truly indulgent soak.A perfect country retreat close to Perth, with bushwalks, wineries, and the observatory nearby—highly recommended!

Simply lovely.

The cottage size was perfect for our needs, the beds, pillows (soft but substantial) and couches comfy, the host was responsive to a request for firewood and the quality and thoughtfulness of the extra touches (candles, flowers in bathroom, basic food supplies) was wonderful and appreciated. The cottage is tastefully and elegantly furnished, and there was enough information supplied to be helpful when checking in and for your stay. Overall, there was nothing to fault!

Relaxed stay, Lovely period property

Nice location in Perth Hills, close to Kalamunda shopping and amenities.Surrounded by farmlands, bush and hills and with lots of birdlife.Safe property securely fenced so that little children could roam free and look at the animals. Hosts are helpful, friendly and easy to contact.So much to enjoy

Nice cottage. We spent a cozy few days hiding away from the rain and wind. Close to lots of little places around the area as well as Kalamunda amd Lesmurdie.
