Stugan har omfattande renoverats och uppdaterats med moderna bekvÀmligheter, inklusive en undercover alfresco matplats. Kilmuir Country Retreat ger en avkopplande och unik semesterupplevelse.

Minsta vistelse - 2 nÀtter, lÄnga helger - 3 nÀtter, pÄsk 2020 - 3 nÀtter.

Minsta gruppstorlek - 8 vuxna eller motsvarande tull vid off-peak-tider, 12 vuxna eller motsvarande tull pÄ helger i juli och augusti, lÄnga helger och under skollovet En lÀgsta avgift per natt kan ocksÄ tillkomma.

Det angrÀnsande köket / matsalen Àr helt fristÄende och utrustad. Den har en stor, ny gasspis och ugn, mikrovÄgsugn, kylskÄp, frys, diskmaskin och en promenad i skafferi. Servis, bestick, köksredskap, te, kaffe, socker, salt och peppar tillhandahÄlls.

Det finns ett torkrum för skidÄkares anvÀndning pÄ vintern.

Den nya, under tak, uteserveringen har plats för 17 personer. Den har en luftflÀkt för varmare vÀder, gasvÀrmare för svalare tider, en grill med sex brÀnnare och bÀnk i rostfritt stÄl. Utsikt över grÀsmattorna, trÀdgÄrdarna och jordbruksmarken till Mt Battery ger en pittoresk, lugn och avkopplande bakgrund.

Mansfield township, klÀdbutiker, hotell, restauranger, kaféer, The Great Victorian Rail Trail, Mansfield Golf Course och Samaria State Park ligger bara fem minuter bort. För mountainbike cyklister Àr Epic Trail och nedförsbackar vid Mt Buller lÀttillgÀngliga.

Lake Nillahcootie och Mansfield Zoo ligger en tio minuters bilresa, medan det Àr 15 minuter till Lake Eildon. Ridning finns i nÀrheten. Kilmuir Country Retreat Àr en idealisk bas för att utforska regionens berg, sjöar, floder, statliga och nationalparker, lokala vingÄrdar, vinterskidfÀlt pÄ Mt Buller och Mt Stirling och Mansfields berömda kaféer och restauranger.

Kilmuir Ă€r en historisk fĂ„r- och boskapseiendom. Åttio tunnland köptes pĂ„ den första auktionen av Mansfield jordbruksmark den 7 juni 1854 för ett pund per tunnland. Under de följande 130 Ă„r köpte angrĂ€nsande mark fastigheten vĂ€xa till över 1 000 tunnland.

Perfect getaway

My cousins and I absolutely loved our stay, the property was clean, cosy and had everything you could need. Erica was an amazing host, very kind and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

A super host

We were well cared for, a caring host, goes out of way to assist guests, be it for sightseeing, walking tracks, local markets and even let us know in advance shops opening times. Kilmuir is fantastic, a historical place and if you are keen host will assist you in increasing your knowledge of area and its history. the place is calm and quiet with birds and occasional farm dog to keep you company. I will return.

Weekend friends getaway

Had a group of 15 and Erica made us all welcomed. The layout is well suited for a large group and with a large outdoor undercover area with a BBQ it easily caters the group. The location was fantastic, being only 5 minutes out of town and have the beautiful gardens and space to move around.

Relaxing Country Getaway

We (group of mature ladies) had a wonderful stay at Kilmuir. The property is well set up for a large group and is in a beautiful rural location but also close to town. We were worried about being cold but the heating was fantastic and the beds and rooms were super cosy. Erica is a lovely, welcoming, helpful host. We would be happy to stay again.

Great Property and host.

We stayed for 2 nights over the New year weekend and we definitely loved this place for its rustic charm. The host Erica was a very nice lady that made our stay very comfortable also we were allowed to check in early and check out late, commucation was excellent during the booking process. Great outdoor entertainment area, huge kitchen and bathroom facilities. Only minutes from town centre. Peaceful and surrounded by nature. Definitely be back.

Excellent Property & Fabulous Host

A diverse age group (ranging from 5-45) booked this property for a trip at Mt Buller. The property catered for all age group with all the amenities were up to date. The whole experience multiplied with the help of property owner Erica. She not only provided a great accommodation but visited us to see if all is well and provided us with local area knowledge. We highly recommend the property. We will surely stay here again. Thanks Erica!

Holiday Haven!!!

Staying at Kilmuir was a beautiful experience. We were a group of 10 and had the choice of rooms available. Kitchen is well stocked with crockery, dishes and pots and pans. Our room heaters and electric blankets kept us really warm. The outside deck with BBQ provided a perfect setting for leisure evenings. The scenery around is to die for with the whole property littered with historical sheds and wagons. Erica is a perfect host. She made sure we're comfortable and all our needs are met. She is very flexible with the check in and checkout times which made it lots more easier for us. We would happily recommend this property if you are looking forward to spend some days in the blissful countryside surroundings accompanied with all the luxuries of modern living.

Wonderful stay! (10 adults, NYE 2022)

We absolutely loved staying at Erica's place for 3 nights over New Years Eve. Erica and her husband live on the property, just two sheds back from where the rental is so she is always nearby if you need anything and was an absolutely lovely host. She popped by each morning to provide fresh towels and empty the bins, as well as tell us about good spots to visit in the local area. We had some music decks set up out the back which she thought was great and couldn't hear our music on NYE, in return we of course made sure to be respectful of her very well kept property and surrounds although it is very remote and private! It has a lot of interesting history as a wool shearer's accommodation which Erica told us about. Her dog Ziggy came to visit us for pats a lot too! Extremely well equipped with BBQ and all the kitchen equipment and appliances you could ever need including 2 fridges and huge pantry. Outdoor area was gorgeous with a lovely verandah and fan. Everything was extremely clean. Plenty of space for car parking. I'd definitely recommend visiting Goughs Bay and Delatite Winery in the area. Thank you Erica!

Wonderful place for a getaway

Me and my workmates spent a weekend at the property. Erica was a wonderful host and looked after us. The place was amazing and all of us had a great time. Facilities were great and the location and the surrounding views were breathtaking.

Such a relaxing get away with our group of friends

From the get go Erica was an amazingly kind and considerate host. We had a fabulous stay at Kilduir. Erica made sure we had everything we needed and left us to enjoy her space with our friendship group of over 25 years (a much needed catch up). I would highly recommend this property for a get away. We also loved our little visits from Ziggy (the dog) too!

a wonderful place for the extended family

We found everything we wanted at Kilmuir for an extended family gathering where we gathered to celebrate a birthday. All ages were delighted by the place. The 2 grandchildren arrived to be invited to see the new born calf( great for city kids) and family and partners were all happy in that they all had their own separate bedrooms...a basic room, each one opening onto the front or back verandahs of the shearing shed, but comfortable beds, electric blankets and heaters. The kitchen /meals area was a fantastic place to all be preparing a real cook up and feast. Two fridges, large stove, lots of pots and pans etc made for an easy place to work in. The adjoining lounge sitting area , although smaller, worked well and had a fantastic heater which heated the whole area. Couches on both front and back verandahs allowed us to sit and enjoy superb sunsets and for the early birds the sunrises. The garden surrounding the property was inspiring and full of birds. Cattle in the adjoining paddock, kangaroos in the late afternoons and a close walk to hear the pobblebonk frogs (not sure of that spelling) all provided interest. There was a great BBq area and outside tables and chairs scattered around the garden gave quiet spaces if anyone needed them Our host was helpful, very friendly and informative and made our stay very special. Nothing was too much bother for her.... somehow she managed to also provide us with the most glorious weather for the 4 days that we were there! Thanks Erica!

Gorgeous country retreat

Nestled in the countryside near Mansfield is this big, lovely refurbished shearer's quarters, just up the drive from the owner's house. Plenty of bedrooms, perfect for large groups, with 4 toilets and showers. Big kitchen with all that you should need plus an outdoor decking area with BBQs and large tables. Couches line the veranda in multiple directions ready for a relaxing view while you listen to the birds. Erica was very attentive and recommended local sights to see. Our kids had plenty of garden space to run around and play in.

Beautiful country retreat

A fabulously relaxing weekend away for our group. Erica was a wonderful host. The property is beautiful just a few kms out of Mansfield. The converted shearers quarters were perfect for our group. On the first night we were already looking at dates to return!

Excellent. Ideal for our group.

We were a group of 17 meeting up for a family reunion. Our little group had our own little reunion on the Friday evening with a BBQ at the property. The outdoor patio and BBQ area was great. Everyone enjoyed the fact that we could all be together, but had our own separate place to go when needed. Erica was so helpful.

Our host Erica was lovely and very accommodating. The kids loved the farm and were taken on a tour of the property with the highlight being a ride on the tractor.

Delightfully rustic and historic. Extremely clean with comfortable beds, ample bathroom facilities and well appointed kitchen. Great outdoor undercover area overlooking lovely flowering gardens with abundant native bird life. Our host, Erica Lowing, should get a tourism award.
