A perfect Daylesford stay ♥️

Waterside Cottage is the perfect stay for our annual girls weekend away. Gorgeous cottage charm and beautifully furnished with everything you need to enjoy a cosy, relaxing get away! Great value, and the hosts are very accommodating and friendly. We hope to continue to return to this beautiful cottage for many years to come.

Winter is always a good time to visit Daylesford, Kerrin. A warm cottage and beautiful pure linen bedding make it hard to leave. There are many attractions in and around Daylesford that can be enjoyed in all weather, so that makes for a fun stay. Hope to see you back soon, cheers Tony and Jen

Perfect location.

The cottage was perfect for getting ready before our daughters wedding and relaxing afterwards. Everything that we needed was there and it was such a beautiful location. Would certainly return to spend more time in Daylesford when we were less busy. Thank you Tony for the ease of check in.

Comfort Cottage

We just loved this cottage and it was beautifully appointed with everything anyone could need. A perfect position, with a view over the lake and the walking track right out the back. Very warm and cosy for a gorgeous winter getaway. I would highly recommend it and we plan to go back again when the weather warms up.

Position perfect

We stayed 4 nights at this wonderfully presented property with all the comforts imaginable. The little extra goodies provided added that special touch. The view to the lake is so relaxing and the position is quiet and handy to all the best Daylesford has to offer. We would definitely recommend Waterside Cottage and would love to stay again.

Cosy & homely cottage

A lovely weekend getaway at the cosy cottage. Very warm, well designed & decorated with a very homely feeling. Beautiful view over the lake & a few steps to walking path around the lake. Highly recommend for a couple or group of friends. We will be back.

Beautiful Cottage

We had a fantastic girls weekend at Waterside Cottage. It is immaculately decorated and presented, the beds and couches are very comfy and the view from the deck is stunning. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The location allows for easy access to the lake and is walking distance into the town centre. We will definitely return to Waterside Cottage next year.

Wonderful!

Thank you to Tony and Jenny for a truly wonderful stay. The cottage is beautifully furnished and styled. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, feeding the geese in the mornings and appreciated the short walk along the lake to The Boathouse for breakfast. A nice added touch was a bookshelf full of great books and an excellent selection of coffee table books to look through. Very comfy beds amazing views of the lake. Couldn't ask for more, we will be back next year.

Perfect location, beautiful and functional design

This house is perfectly located on the lake and away from the main road. It is designed and furnished beautifully, crisp linens, strong water pressure, functional and decorative lighting, a kitchen designed for cooking and sharing. I hope they keep the price as it stands, it is worth every cent. And the hosts were available if we needed them.

Perfect for us

Waterside Cottage was the perfect location for our needs. The cottage had all the facilities that one would expect, and more. It was lovely to wake up in the morning, walk out the back door and do a circuit of the lake before breakfast at the Boathouse Café (only 2 mins walk). We would certainly recommend this property to anyone else (and already have ....to the airline check-in staff prior to our flight home).

Lakeside dream

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Waterside Cottage. It had everything we needed to make us feel comfortable; beautifully renovated but still with a cosy, welcoming feel. We enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake from the balcony, relaxed with a glass of wine and escaped the real world. Just a short walk from the Boathouse restaurant and from the town centre, it was the perfect location. The owner was fabulous, the booking was so easy and every query was answered immediately. Our only regret::: that we didn’t stay longer. Absolute dream!

What a gem!

This cottage has all the things you need for a peaceful, relaxing get away. The cottage has all the amenities to cater for your needs. It has a fabulous deck overlooking the lake, so you can watch the ducks and geese drift by. At night you can either chill out with a book or get stuck into catching up on some binge watching on TV. Location is ideal, beautiful walk into town, 10 mins, so close enough and far enough as well. We were here for a girl's weekend and loved it so much, we are back again next year. Well done on making this such a cosy inviting space. Love it.

Beautiful Waterside Cottage

We just enjoyed another lovely girly weekend away in Daylesford staying at the beautiful Waterside Cottage. We never tire of the gorgeous location - best lake view in Daylesford from the sunken lounge and back decking. Even on a cold, wet, wintery day, the outlook is unbeatable from this warm, cosy cottage. It is equipped with everything you need, and finished with the highest quality of furnishings and beautiful decor! Tony and Jen, (the property managers/owners) provided great communication and went out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to settle in and enjoy your stay. Make sure you check out this little gem- you will not be disappointed!

An amazing experience!

I recently enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at this lovely cottage with friends. We were blown away by the amenities provided, the quality of the furnishings and the fittings and the most amazing location. So close to everything - the view of the Lake was so lovely to enjoy from the sunken lounge. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and although you don't get to meet them, instructions were easy to follow and any communication was always very prompt. We really enjoyed the games and books provided, thank-you. We had a cold and wintery weekend, but the Cottage was always warm and cosy with many throw rugs to snuggle up on the comfy couch with. If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable and well equipped property for your time in Daylesford, I couldn't recommend Waterside Cottage more highly We will be back!
