I was looking for a magical spot to introduce my American friend to the Adelaide Hills. I wanted somewhere hidden away in nature surrounded by bird calls, cosy and warm inside. CloudsNest delivered in every way. Our lovely hostess provided us with everything we wanted and many things we didn’t know we wanted. We felt welcome and special and at home.

The perfect little getaway

My friend and I had a truly wonderful time staying here. The view was incredible and to be surrounded by nature and wildlife was really special. The host was lovely and so accommodating towards us. We had two lovely bedrooms with our own bathrooms and our hosts prepared a beautiful cheese platter in the afternoon.

Adelaide Hills perfect stay

I did visit Adelaide Hills for work, travelling with a client. We stayed at Cloud Nest and it was a real discovery and pleasure. We found the place very unique and authentic. The all experience was great, from arrival, breakfast, bush view, the native fauna and air quality.The bedrooms were very comfortable and the host incredibly attentive and discreet. I will come back again and it is definitely in my favourite stay in the area. Thank you so much for the great hospitality.

We really enjoyed Scott Creek and found out host to be generous and accommodating. The location is beautiful and easy to reach Scott Creek Conservation Park. Really enjoy Laratinga Wetlands as well - thank you for the recommendation!

Fantastic setting in the Adelaide Hills bordering the Conservation Park. Jean is a fantastic host providing lots of information as well as a lovely cheese platter on arrival and a wonderful breakfast. The view is amazing with lots of kangaroos and birds around. The shared area is small, however has everything you need. The Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Good opportunity to get back to nature and really relax. Thank you Jean for sharing your lovely property with us and your outstanding hospitality.

Beautiful haven

Jean was very welcoming. The rooms were really comfortable and had everything we needed (with big comfy beds as an added bonus). After taking in the views over breakfast, we all enjoyed exploring the property and seeing some kangaroos along the way. Great place to stay when exploring the beautiful region.

Peaceful getaway

Jean is a fabulous host who ensures you have everything you need for a lovely stay and goes above and beyond providing beautiful snacks and breakfast, even catering for specific dietary requirements. Sitting out on the deck taking in the view is a lovely way to spend a summer evening.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Jean is a great host. We had plenty of privacy and she was always available to help with anything we might need. Breakfast was lovely. Would love to come back sometime and explore the conservation park when we have more time.

Relaxing hideaway

CloudsNest and the property it’s on is absolutely stunning. Sitting back, watching the kangaroos graze on the lawn as the sun set, was our favourite part of the evening. We enjoyed the options of a fireplace both inside and out. Jean was a wonderful host who gave us plenty of privacy but was also ready to assist if needed. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous property Jean. We’ll be back.

Nice and cosy

Beautiful house at a nice and peaceful location. Host is very friendly. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. Lots of kangaroos around. Suits anyone who just wants to escape the city lifestyle, and experience the country living for a bit.

We stayed two nights at Clouds Nest and from the moment we arrived Jean made us feel very welcomed. The views were spectacular and the cheese platter Jean provided on arrival was amazing. The Rooms were very clean and tidy and comfortable. Really enjoyed the log fire. Jean is a great host and provided us with ample for breakfast. Overall a really lovely getaway and we are already planning a return. We can't recommend this place enough for a well deserved break.
