Om du letar efter en strand eller busksemester pÄ den vackra Surf Coast utan att bryta banken, Àr Beach Break at Moggs Creek platsen för dig.

Beach Break Àr ett klassiskt 70-talshus med sympatiskt uppdatering med alla spÄr av "mission brown" som har tagits bort för att sova 4 vuxna och 4 barn (eller 8 vuxna sÄ lÀnge som 4 av er inte nöjda med vÄningssÀngar).

Huset grÀnsar till Angahook-Lorne State Park och det finns gott om promenader och cykelvÀgar pÄ tröskeln, stora strÀnder (Moggs Creek Beach ligger 5 minuters promenad frÄn ytterdörren) och bra lokala restauranger, eller du kanske bara föredrar att krulla upp med en bok pÄ dÀck, i hÀngmatta eller vid vedvÀrmaren.

Beach Break har tvÄ dubbelrum (ett med king size-sÀng) och ett barnrum med tvÄ uppsÀttningar vÄningssÀngar, med ett badrum pÄ övervÄningen och dusch, toalett och tvÀttstuga nere. Det fristÄende garaget har ocksÄ omvandlats till ett rumpusrum.

Det stora frontdÀcket fÄr morgonsolen, men pÄ vintern hÄller trÀvÀrmaren snygga och smutsiga inuti.

Det finns ett vÀlutrustat kök och gott om plats för vÀnner runt det utdragbara matbordet. För uteservering finns dÀcket med gasbbq, eller bbq (vedeldad) omrÄde med sittplatser och brazier.

Medan strand och buske Àr de frÀmsta attraktionerna, finns det en trampolin (med sÀkerhetsnÀt) och hÀngmatta för att hÄlla barnen underhÄllna hemma.

Beach Break Àr ett mycket Àlskat, mysigt familjehus och om du Àr nÄgot som oss, kommer du inte att kunna hjÀlpa dig utan slappna av nÀr du har bosatt dig. Det har beskrivits som allt du behöver, ingenting du inte gör.

The property is in a great location. 5 mins walk to a beautiful wide long sandy beach and just 10 mins to the start of the Great Ocean Road. From Melbourne Airport it took us a a few hrs drive. Unfortunately we arrived in the dark and with no automatic outside lighting it was quite difficult in the dark to locate the lock and get into the house, so make sure you have a torch. We arrived in September and the house was extremely cold and it took 24hrs to warm up so it was comfortable. There was a bottle of wine left which was a nice touch.Although it is marketed as an original 70s house, i don't think this excuses lack of upkeep or maintenance, such as replacing chipped tiles, cleaning windows etc..also the beds were very uncomfortable and all need new mattresses. This house because of its location could be fabulous it just needs some upkeep. Lastly, just a gripe about the pricing, we requested the property at the listed price however once it was confirmed the owner increased the price, due to a big sporting event in Melbourne. On VRBO there was a min and max pricing for this property which was still exceeded. I did query this with the owner but they did not reply. So we had no choice but to pay the higher price.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was warm, cosy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The host was great — very helpful and always quick to communicate. We especially loved the peaceful bush surrounds. Kids loved spotting kangaroos and colourful birds and exploring the bush. A perfect getaway to unwind and enjoy nature!

Perfect quiet base close to the beach.

The place is a beautiful property surrounded by bush on three sides. Private and with a well thought out kitchen. Beds were comfy and it's just a lovely little base to go for a surf and hang out and read, write and contemplate.It could use some insect repellent for nights outside but I was glad for the flyscreens and super peaceful sleeps.

Perfect long weekend stay

Excellent little getaway. Shops and restaurants are only a short drive and is so close to the beach. The house has a quaint 70s style. Really enjoyed the fire and games. The best I could ask for in my price range.

Moggs Creek peace !

The Moggs creek house is in a fabulous location, and the best thing is that the silence is deadly ! So peaceful.. the only thing you hear is the waves crashing in the distance. I would also have to say that the owner Adam is fabulous. Got back to us within minutes if we had a query. This was the second time I’ve stayed here and hopefully it won’t be the last.

Awesome spot with a great host

We had a great time in our stay in Mogg’s creek at Adam’s place. It’s a very nice quiet area but also close enough to Lorne and Aireys inlet so you can get coffee and food. The house was a very cute place with everything we needed and Adam the host was very accomodating and helpful. Would happily stay here again.

Just awesome

Loved this place! The stylish touches of vintage decor got me excited. Comfy beds, amazing fire kept us toasty for our whole stay, good shower, plenty of cds to play, beautiful feel being upstairs amongst the trees with resident kookaburras hanging out with us on the spacious deck. We loved this place and Adam was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Will definitely come back again some day.

Great property in a great location. Close to both Anglesea and Lorne with Aireys Inlet in the middle ! Adam was a great host and the bottle of red wine left for us was a lovely touch. Beds were comfortable and the BBQ on the front deck was fabulous on our first night. Would love to come back !

Peaceful and refreshing

What a delight to drive into this quiet and comfortable home. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Everything we needed was provided as well as a lovely surprise. Dinners on the verandah with a fabulous BBQ, breakfasts with beautiful birds, sleeping with the sound of the ocean. And only a 5 minute walk to a perfect beach. We had another fantastic stay at Beach Break

My husband, daughter and I had another great stay at Adam and Karen’s fab retro beach house, this time with a cousin visiting from overseas. The house has everything you need for a great relaxing stay. Birds abound and the regular sight of kangaroos hopping past was a treat. Adam is a very responsive host who provides plenty of info to enhance your stay. We would love to return.
