Awesome Place!

The property was very nice and additionally right next to Mt Coot-tha which is a must see with its vast amount of hiking trails and wildlife! Cara was extremely welcoming and had a plethora of knowledge about the area and advice on what to check out. Overall, an awesome place and stay!

Comfortable retreat.

Cara was an excellent hostess - she and Lucien welcomed us and were always available if we needed any help. The studio apartment was very comfortable, quiet and well located for us visiting family nearby. We would highly recommend it and hope to stay again in the future.

Comfy and convenient

We enjoyed a peaceful neighbourhood that was close to all conveniences during the busy Christmas holidays whilst in Brisbane. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Visiting Son in Brisbane

Great self contained accommodation in a quite and pretty location with local bus service at end of the road. Hosts were lovely and extremely helpful, would highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay

Its a wonderful self contained room in a lovely area with considerate hosts- perfect really! Note to anyone out there worried about the lack of air conditioning- its on the ground floor and lots of shade, the room doesn't really heat up

Very clean property. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Bus stop at the end of the street, 10 min ride or 1/2 hr walk to major shopping centre. Wifi ok.

The location of this property is really good with easy access to shops walks and nature. The accommodation is as described and accurate from the listing. Cara was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

It was a really nice little flat, good for a long or short stay. It was clean and the communication with the property manager was good aswell. But without a car maybe a bit to far from the CBD from Brisbane away, nethertheless a bus station is 5 Minutes away and comes once an hour.

Perfect for son studying at UQ

My son stayed here for the last 2 months of his study abroad and he found this “home away from home” perfect for him. He felt comfortable and safe and had everything he needed to feel at home. The host was very helpful. It was very clean.

Home away from home

As new Brisbane residents our home away from home's location was in a great. Waking up to kookaburras singing and the walking trails close by made us feel like we were in the country but so close to the city for exploring. Our hosts were very helpful & friendly. We felt like we were leaving a long term home at the end of our time. Thank you

Wonderful host and really comfortable accommodation

Highly recommended. Booked this place for three weeks for my daughter who needed somewhere to stay when she started a new job in Brisbane. Cara was so helpful, caring and friendly. My daughter found the room was lovely, clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was great for preparing her own meals. Access to the washing machine was also greatly appreciated.

2 week stay visiting family nearby

Well equipped, clean and tidy, unit is just as pictured. Beautiful walk to bus stop or walk just a bit farther to Abode for delicious coffee and fabulous menu. Hillsdon Grocery is a must for gourmet treats and grocery essentials. Hosts were quick to respond to email communication and very hospitable. Their attention to detail in the unit and offering access to laundry were extra nice. Highly recommend this quiet neighborhood and this lovely listing.

Peaceful Fully Furnished Granny Suit

My stay was 3 weeks long and I feel like it became my home! Great location - beautiful residential area with colourful trees and lots of birds, it was a 5 minute walk to bus stop. Hosts were lovely and very easy to communicate with. Gave great tips/recommendations about things to do and sites to see around town. Stay was clean, with comfy bed, and all the basic necessities. Laundry was such a bonus! Would highly recommend for short to long stays as well as solo travelers who may be shy/nervous - You'll feel like you're at home!

Great stay, great host!

Cara has put so much thought and consideration into the room! It had all the little things you may need, like a cheese grater, salt & pepper and other seasonings, a great selection of teas and coffee, a hair dryer in the bathroom
 the list goes on! We also appreciated the little book with restaurants and things to do. Cara was very kind to us as well! The only thing that would’ve made the stay better would be better access to public transport, which is not her fault. If you have a car you’ll be just fine!

Perfect for what I needed, a base in Brisbane before a camping trip

Totally great place. Can only fully recommend. Clean, tidy, everything you need, and little personal touches. I especailly appreciated the slient fridge and bathroom fan, often really annoying in a small space but both were not noticeable. Lovely area. Easy to walk up into Mt Cootha, and up to the top if you want, walking distance from here. Host was away herself but checked in with an email. Totally professional.

Everything we needed

We needed accommodation while we attended a conference, and this suited our needs admirably. From the Sheridan sheets to the quality bath products, the unit was well equipped. Cara was very welcoming, and could provide anything we wanted. Hanging space for clothes is limited, and for a longer stay this could be inconvenient. If we need accommodation in this area, we would not hesitate to return. Thank you, Cara.
