Thoughtful hosts with a beautiful and relaxing property.
I booked this property for a two-night stay with my two coworkers. From the start, it was easy to communicate with Claire, who answered my questions thoroughly. The place itself was a dream - spacious and inviting, nestled amidst the bushy hills. A well-tended garden and well maintained house meant it was a little isle of civilization amongst the wallabies and roaming cattle. Of course it's a long way to the nearest supermarket, but our hosts made it clear they would help with any needs. We enjoyed modern amenities that were above and beyond my experiences with five star hotels, such as the recliners around the satellite TV. There was a kitchen with plenty of cookware, dishes, a great oven and fridge, a coffee machine - and cooking basics too. I had no trouble cooking full meals. We had everything we needed to have a fire in the firepit and spent our second evening roasting mashmallows. From the indoor fireplace, to the big overhead fans, to the airconditioners in bedrooms, to the extra blankets including electric ones on all the beds, there was plenty of temperature control to enjoy a comfortable stay. And the little touches like the lavender on the pillows just made us feel so welcomed and cared for!As a work group we spent a lot of time on laptops, and never had a problem with the wifi. Then with the spacious living rooms full of board games and books, and the beautiful countryside to roam in, our work-free hours were also easily filled. It was such a relaxing stay.
