Overall, we were very happy with our 5-night holidayâthe property was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and in a lovely location. Communication during our stay was excellent, and the hosts were kind, compassionate, and regularly checked in via SMS to ensure we were comfortable, which we really appreciated. We were also grateful to be offered a late check-out as a gesture of goodwill after early-morning NBN works on the property, which was very thoughtful.That said, I did feel a little uncomfortable after check-in. Prior to our arrival, I had explained that I was travelling with an NDIS participant who can occasionally laugh quite loudly. Upon check-in, we were told that the reason for all the questions beforehand was due to concerns about the neighbor, who often complain, and because the ownersâ house is located very close to the accommodation. While I now understand the owner's initial hesitation, it did make me feel a bit uneasy, and I found myself staying indoors with the doors closed for most of the time to avoid any potential issues.Additionally, after check-out, I received a message about a missing towel and was informed I would need to pay to replace it. I responded helpfully and followed up with a phone call to clarify that we hadnât taken the towel. Two days later, I received a message saying it had been found in a cupboard.
