Nyligen renoverat badrum och ny gasspis uppdaterar utseendet på denna första icke-timmerstuga byggd i övre svandalen. Cute cozy getaway, away from all the hustle and bustle. Loved the wildlife and nature surrounding us! Lots of trails nearby to go on day hikes. Loved it! The cabin was not quite as secluded as we thought it would be. There were a couple of other cabins that were closer than we expected, but far enough to not be a big concern. We still loved it and may return at a later date. The owners are very friendly and made us feel welcome and at home.

Beautiful property with wildlife all around. So peaceful and wild. Andy is an awesome host and makes you feel like a friend. Quiet cabin, beautiful mountains

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! Andy was friendly, & communicating with him was easy. We arrived a little late our first night in, but he had the cabin open with lights on, warm & inviting! Deer all around. Book the trip!!

A beautiful place to be

The property is the most amazing place and the cabin was just right for us—cozy and casual. The pictures are very accurate, but the overall feel was even better—just like home. Andy was the most amazing host, made sure that we experienced the best hidden gems of the area. Came to get us when there was a bear to see in the area! We are already planning a return for next year. Absolutely provided everything we were wishing for with our vacation! Perfectly enchanting!

Amazing location

This historic cabin is beautifully placed in the swan valley with mission mountains providing a fantastic view. Andy was a wonderful host very helpful but not intrusive.

Picture Postcard!

The location is absolutely stunning. From the front porch the scene looks like a postcard with the meadow in front, tree line behind and the stunning snow-capped Mission Mountains in the distance. You have everything you need in the cabin and are a short drive from beautiful hikes. Perfect for the three of us - myself and my two adult daughters. Andy is wonderful and a wealth of information on the history of the area as well as the history of the homestead. Will be staying there again!

Andy is an excellent host. The cabin was clean and warm when we arrived late in the night. The cabin is fun and the surrounding area rich in outdoor activities. A really great stay!

Very quaint cabin very close to groceries and lakes. Host was very accomodation and extremely nice and friendly. Cabin is rustic but had everything we meeded.

Great cabin getaway

Great little cabin with some history in the Swan Valley. The cabin was clean, and our host, Andy, was fantastic and fun to chat with. The view off the front porch is very scenic, and we often saw wildlife (deer, wild turkeys, sandhill cranes) in the area. We will definitely return in the future.

Our stay at Homestead

I stayed 2 nights by myself, son Brian his wife & 4 daughters were able to stay just 1 night The cabin was wonderful. We were able to bbq shish ka bobs & roast marshmallows in the kettle bbq.
