Lovely stay, near the beach, bay and golf course

An oldie but a goodie, full amenities and loved the homely feel, felt right at home. Plenty of table space for our board games. Great air con and very quiet at night

Spacious family friendly house

Goolwa Getaway

This our third time staying in the house - we like how it is a home and we can be comfortable in it with kids. Great secure backyard and great location to the playground/river. House has everything we need to relax for a few days.

great venue and facilities

Well presented home , fantastic location great communication with Host Stephen . perhaps the carpets could be cleaned , there were some carpet stains in the bedroom probably from previous pets. However, overall well done

Perfect place for a getaway with the dogs!

Fantastic place as it has a perfect backyard for our dogs. Was neat and tidy and easy to clean at the end of our stay, had everything we needed and more! Would be great for families with lots of kids too. Will be back!

Comfortable but Disappointing

The house was comfortable but alot of the appliances didn't work the most inconvenient was the washing machine, washing line broken, dishwasher didn't work well. Most of the DVD either not there or not working.

Winter getaway

My son & I and our little dog have just been away, staying at the ‘Goolwa Getaway’ house just out of Goolwa. It is a lovely quiet place. I love the big tree in the back yard. Only problem; there was no internet & no towels were supplied. We had to go & buy a towel as we weren’t prepared. Other than that it was a very enjoyable stay. Thank you to Stephen the host.

The perfect family getaway

The property was exactly what we hoped it would be; spacious, comfortable and clean with a lovely fenced area for our dogs to enjoy. The location was great, the check in process was efficient and easy and we were even offered a generous late check out. Overall a fantastic value for money and we are highly likely to return.

Kitchen Highlight

The kitchen is the highlight of this home, with everything you need. Could do with new pots and pans. Very comfortable beds. Backyard is great for furry friends, but could do with a tidy up. Great location, close to golf course & beach.

Roomy and convenient

The property has plenty of room. Well presented furnishings. Main bathroom needs a bit of an update, but still very functional. Cooling system worked well inspite of 37°+ days

Great getaway

The size of the property is fantastic with plenty of room and 2 bathrooms is a definite plus. Fantastic for our dogs! Plus 2 teenagers. Great heating/cooling system! Beds were comfortable. AWESOME location!!!! Will definitely stay again 🙂 The only negatives were that the provided cookware was unusable (black burnt pots/pans), the bathrooms weren’t overly clean and white bunk bed is ready to fall apart. Backyard needs some maintenance.
