Quaint and peaceful cottage, feels immersed in nature and a place to unwind and recharge. Well equipped kitchen, nice dining area. One air conditioning unit with several fans that’s adequate to beat the heat in early summer. We didn’t have signal (Telstra and Optus) nor manage to connect to wifi (iPhone 15 and Samsung s23) within the cottage, but there’s connectivity at the balcony outside the room or patio of the house.

Weekend away

Booked the cottage for a chistmas party near by had a wonderful weekend showing my daughter the rabbits and birds around the property. Owners are super friendly and always there to help if we needed anything.

Tranquil and stylish rustic cottage

The cottage is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. Everything I needed was supplied in immaculate condition indoors. It would have been suburb with an updated deck. I loved the cottage and Deb and Wayne were helpful hosts thank you.

Our Relaxing Stay at Rustic Cottage

A wonderful place for some R&R. Hosts Deb and Wayne are so welcoming and ready to assist with anything you need. Comfortable, private & homely cottage with so much charm and history. Everything there to make your stay a home away from home including a relaxing bath with bath salts. We definitely recommend a stay here to recharge. We hope to have another visit sometime.

Loved our stay in this Rustic Cottage

The perfect base for our 4 day Birding trip. The interior decor is an eclectic mix of French Country and Australian Federation. Very comfortable with lots of attention to details ie choice of twinnings tea, good reading material etc Abundant figs and friendly possum visitor where memorable surprises! Wayne [host] checked with us daily that all was running smoothly, especially with the hot days.

Rustic Cottage

Pleasantly located in a semi rural environment between the ocean and the Peel Inlet 20kms South of Mandurah. Friendly owners and hospitality adding to a very enjoyable 5 day stay.

We had a lovely weekend at Deb’s cottage. It’s bigger than the photos show and was very comfortable. Check in was easy and it was a great base to explore the surroundings.

Weekend holiday

Place was lovely with a historic feel to the place, with an interesting history provided to us by the engaging owner. Close to the Lazy Crab for a nice meal with live music. Close to Lake Clifton for a bit of photography at sunset. Perfect stay!

Peace and tranquillity

Deb and Wayne were excellent hosts providing us with treats in the fridge on arrival and a lovely clean cottage. The cottage was clean and comfortable, with everything needed to make our stay so relaxing. The cottage is beautifully decorated with the original stove and floorboards. Highly recommend taking bikes to ride along the estuary too. Highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful staycation.
