Vid stranden @ Catho är ett historiskt hus som ligger i havet vid Catherine Hill Bay. Det ligger perfekt mittemot stranden!

Formellt den historiska postkontor byggdes 1904, har detta hem renoverats med dagens standarder men behåller de ursprungliga klapboardväggarna och tallow-trägolv. Det är allt på en nivå så det ��r perfekt för äldre eller de med en ung familj.

Med tre stora sovrum, en öppen planlösning, förbrännings spis och omsluta verandaen, detta hem säkerställa att du kan koppla av med familjen och njuta av allt som området erbjuder.

Det stora sovrummet har 1 queen size-säng, det andra sovrummet har en queen size-säng plus en enkelsäng, medan den tredje har en annan queen size-säng - sover 8 alla upp.

Det moderna badrummet behåller minersbyens gamla världsberömning, med ett klofotbad och har även en separat dusch, medan köket också har renoverats för enkel underhållning. Det finns också en stranddusch ute och en uteservering.

Den stora inhägnade gården är perfekt för barnen att leka och det bakre familjerummet är bekvämt beläget för att se till att de fortfarande ligger inom öron av mamma och pappa! Wrap runt undercover veranda är perfekt att luta sig tillbaka med ett glas vin eller öl, och bara lukta den salta luften och lyssna på vågorna kraschar på strandlinjen

Observera: den övre våningssängen kommer att ha sängkläder, men sängen kommer inte att göras.

A perfect family weekend away

We loved our weekend at 'By The Beach at Catho'. Our teenagers enjoyed walking across the road to go spear fishing each day. We took long walks on the beach and spent time as a family sitting around on the back deck. The outdoor shower was super handy and the hammock was heavily fought over. We'll definitely be back!

What a gem of a property By the Beach at Catho is. With its location directly opposite the beach, it is the perfect spot for a beach holiday. The house is well-appointed and filled with charm. We experienced the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation. The house itself is one of the better-appointed accommodations, with everything you need to cook, entertain and enjoy the space. Other conveniences, such as great internet, a good-sized TV, games and plenty of spaces to enjoy were appreciated. Catherine Hill Bay and the surrounds doesn’t have a lot of eating out options, but there’s a terrific seafood market in Swansea and once you’ve got your supplies, you don’t need to go elsewhere. It’s a self-contained holiday space. The house was clean, linen comfortable and plenty of towels to see the week through.

Fantastic beach house right across the from the beach!

This is the third time we have stayed here and it is a fabulous house just across the rd from the beach. Beautiful back garden with deck and perfect for sundowners! Comfy beds and a super efficient fireplace for those chilly winter nights. Highly recommend this home!

Beautiful house and location

We had a beautiful weekend at By The Beach at Catho. We found the house very clean and comfortable and the location is just perfect. Beautiful sun drenched backyard and deck to sit and relax. Really recommend staying there. Just beautiful!!

A great place to stay

This is the ideal beach house. The location is simply amazing, literally just across the road from the beach so you can nip across for an early dip and be back for breakfast! We were three couples staying the weekend and had a ball swimming, going for walks around the headland and sitting out on the deck. The house is spacious and clean with a well-equipped kitchen and everything we needed. It has a fenced yard which would be good for kids. We had a great stay and look forward to coming back.
