Privat däck med utsikt över sjön, rymlig, med plats att sova 10! Den ultimata egenskapen för din "Up North" Ren Michigan semester! Fisk eller båt direkt från den privata bryggan, bara en kort bilresa till Lake Michigan och Ludington State Park och bara några minuter från Downtown Ludington. Du kommer att känna att du är en miljon mil bort, medan du fortfarande bara är ett stenkast från allt du behöver och allt du vill göra! Korta dagsturer till Sleeping Bear Dunes, Silver Lake Sand Dunes och så mycket mer!

Enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place, cottagey feel. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 1 baby. Clean and comfortable. Communicating with the owners was very easy and they are quick to reply.

Great vaca!!

2nd year at this vacation home on beautiful Hamlin lake. Boat rentals on the lake. Lots of room for teens to spread out..Ping Pong tournaments at the cottage. Mornings on the deck for the adults. We'll be back!!

Place was amazing. Quiet location and beautiful lake views. It was great to fish off the dock. Kids and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend for large families. Lots of space for everyone.

Spacious and comfortable home in great location

This home is very clean, comfortable and spacious, in an excellent location. Home has a well equipped kitchen. Beds are comfortable with nice pillows and blankets. Good laundry facilities. Double showers and bathroom in the basement were extremely helpful. We kept our boat at the dock, which is on a nice and quiet part of the lake. Great for kayaking and paddleboarding. The yard is very nice and great for campfires. Parking is tight but workable. Owners were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. We had a very enjoyable stay and would love to rent again!

Quiet days at the lake

This home has a view of lovely Hamlin Lake. During our stay we saw a bald eagle. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Our host Bill responded quickly and openly to our questions and comments. Ludington State Park and shopping are an easy drive. And if you like fresh blueberries—u pick or ready picked—Couturier’s blueberry patch is nearby. The house is ready for some updates, which Bill has plans to address. We hope future guests will enjoy lake life at Happy Day.

Simply amazing

I love this house! Our family bought it in 1971 but had to give it up. The new owners are fantastic and have made the cottage a great place to vacation and enjoy the lake.

Great stay with lots of space!

Our family of 8 (parents, adult kids, and baby) loved our 4 day stay here! We thoroughly enjoyed that there were different living spaces and places to hang out so everyone could be doing whatever they wanted! We made good use of the ping pong table, played games in the fireplace room, lounged outside, had bonfires, and made great food! The kitchen was a little small for our many cooks, but it was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. Overall great stay!

A great week on Hamlin Lake

The house is as advertised - our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers) had plenty of room to spread out. The house is located in an inlet just inside a No Wake zone so nice calm waters to paddle around. The owners live in town and were extremely responsive to the couple of questions/ requests we had. Overall, a great experience and would recommend this property.

Fun with family

This place was great. Beds were very comfortable. Decks and fire pit we spent a lot of time at. Hope to come back again soon. The only issue was the carpet in the family room really needs to be cleaned. Smells like animals. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay.

Great week on Hamlin!

Had a great week away on Hamlin Lake! The house was great and perfectly as advertised. Lots of deck space to enjoy the view of the lake. Spacious water frontage to relax by the water. Great WiFi connection that even extended to the water as we were able to 'work from home' several days. Caught lots of fish from the dock. Overall great stay! Would definitely come back and stay here again!

Clean and lots of room. Great size yard. Good fishing right off the dock!!

Very clean house. We had one issue with a door and the Property manager was there to fix it right away. It was exactly as the photos showed and described. We will be back!!

Weekend Getaway

The house was right on Hamlin Lake with a nice dock for parking our pontoon boat. The house was roomy enough for our growing family. The owner was super helpful, allowing us to park an additional vehicle and trailer on another property he owned. We loved all the books and games he had, especially the ping pong table. Our only regret was that it was difficult to fit 10 of us in the dining room. We made it work, though, and would definitely stay here again!

Loved this place!

We really enjoyed our stay. House clean and neat. No ants or bugs. Expectations clear. Owner attentive on line but no bother in person. The only drawback was lots of seaweed right off the dock. We had a Lilley pad raft though so the kids weren't bothered. We also rented a boat so went a short ride to the dunes. The kids loved the Ping Pong table in the lower level. Lots of spaces, indoor and out. Ludington is a beautiful spot. We'll happily come back!

Great Place!

A couple of recommendations if I may, a few clocks would be great, especially one in the master bedroom. Also, an outside light for the back of the property is really needed for safety purposes. I would consider a gate at the top of the stairs as well, again, for safety purposes. We loved our stay and the accommodations met our needs. Thank you so much for renting to us and especially allowing me to change our dates of stay due to bad weather predictions. P.S. The weather was fantastic and the northern colors where fabulous. Ludington summer vacation

General location was great with easy access to downtown Ludington, State Park, sunsets on the beach, and all the area has to offer. It's our favorite town to be in during summer. The home was clean, roomy, and bedrooms exactly as expected. The basement showers are not pictured in the profile, but are not as nice as the rest of the house (we wore our flip flops) and the other bathrooms only have pocket doors that do not latch closed. There was also something in the bottom two levels that triggered our allergies, restricting my mother to the main floor. We're glad it was cool during our week, since that level would have been warm without air conditioning. Also, the positioning of the home on the VRBO map appears to be directly on upper Hamlin Lake, when it is actually situated in the cove. That didn't make a difference since most of the shoreline isn't very swimmable. It made for good fishing off the dock though. All in all, it was a good vacation.

Beautiful spot on the lake!

We’ve stayed on Hamlin Lake many times and this is truly a beautiful property! The sunsets off the dock were gorgeous. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and the ping pong table in the basement. It was nice to have all four bedrooms on the main floor. We ended each night with a bonfire down by the lake which was so peaceful. The neighboring cottages were very quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Place!

We loved our stay! We caught lots of fish from the dock, enjoyed the fire pit, drank coffee on the deck, kayaked, and walked to the yummy restaurant down the street. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with everything you need. Would definitely stay again!
