Fantastic property and wonderful host

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at House on the Hill and everything was terrific a second time around. Karen is a generous and responsive host and the property is fantastic for a large family group of all ages - absolutely huge lounge room, well equipped kitchen, big bedrooms and a swimming pool. This place has everything a big extended family could need with lots of space for getting together and enjoying a meal. The pool was an added bonus.

Lovely weekend getaway!!

Love this property! Second time staying at “House on the hill” and just love the house, the surrounding landscape, the privacy, the friendly horses and the ease of arrival and departure. My entire group who stayed could not speak more highly of the property… highly recommended!

Amazing place!

Second time staying at House on the Hill and I couldn’t fault it once again! The place is incredible and great for the whole family! Great location being close by to Mt Ida Lookout and wineries. Karen is an amazing host, very helpful and understanding. No doubt we will definitely be back again!

Best Holiday House

Just returned from our 3rd time at this property. Love this place and already booked again for next year. Comfortably fits 2-3 families, biggest kitchen/lounge room I have ever seen. Pool is fantastic at this time of year and outdoor area with plenty of shade is wonderful. Karen is a great host and responds to any queries straight away.

The most wonderful stay

It was our second time visiting The House on the Hill as a family and we once again had the most incredible time. The house is really well appointed and stocked with everything you would need which makes it so much easier. It’s on such a beautiful property too. We, a group of family friends stayed for 2 nights. The house is beautiful had plenty of space. Lots of privacy and freedom as it is in a big size of land. Karen were very helpful friendly. We had a great time and would definitely go back

Amazing place that kept surprising us

My friends and I had an amazing time while staying at House on the hill. we were blown away by the spaciousness of both the property and area. Karen was a terrific host who communicated everything well in advance and was so helpful with any queries we had. She even let us check out much later since the place was still available the following day :)

Incredible House on a hill, awesome property with an amazing view.

We loved our stay at this house, as previous guests have stated, the photos don't do it justice. The main living area is huge surrounded by windows with views of the valley and hills in the distance. Very private and the communication with the property managers was second to none. Hope to be back one day.

We bought the land as is and over the period of 4 years my husband who is a builder painstakingly built the property over the weekends and commuting from Melbourne each weekend. We also had to put in power, septic tanks and various exacavating of driveways.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The view was the most amazing sight with views of the mountains - Mt Camel. We love the peaceful location and seeing the change of weather from where the house located seeing the beautiful sunrises, storms and sunsets.
