MAGISK NOOSA HINTERLAND RETREAT

Magnolia Cottage är en charmig, rustik timmerstuga som erbjuder den verkliga känslan av landet men ändå så nära de pittoreska landstäderna Cooroy, Eumundi och Pomona, bara 15 minuter från Noosaville och Gympie Tce floden / restaurangområdet och ytterligare 5 minuter till glitz av Noosa Hastings Street och Main Beach.

Stugan erbjuder 4 sovrum och 2 badrum och är skild från The Stables (även listad på HomeAway) av en lugn innergård med fontän.

Magnolia Cottage ligger på 2 hektar vackra trädgårdar med utsikt över vår liljfylld damm och repfjädring, till berget bortom.

Vår stuga har inredats för att ge en avslappnad hemma känsla med extra lyxiga detaljer.

Utrymmet: Magnolia Cottage har allt för att säkerställa din familj och ditt husdjur har en bra tid.
Det är ett "riktigt" hem, från svängtovet över dammen till eldstaden, och är nyrenoverat, inklusive de flesta apparater.

Nedre våning: Öppet kök med gasspishäll, matplats och vardagsrum (med 50 "LED-TV, DVD och USB-kompatibel soundbar) som öppnar på underhållande däck med härlig utsikt och Weber BBQ.
Den breda och skuggiga verandan har grindar i båda ändar, vilket ger ett säkert utrymme för de flesta hundar. Trädgården mellan stugan och dammen är inhägnad (kombinationstråd och timmer). Själva dammen är inte inhägnad, och fastigheten är kanske inte lämplig för mycket små barn. Vänligen kontakta oss för mer information om du har några problem.

Huvud Badrum: stort badrum med dusch och klo fotbad.

På övervåningen: Gabled sovrum med queen size-säng (och TV), andra gabled sovrum med dubbelsäng, sovrum med dubbla våningssängar, badrum, separat vardagsrum med 43 "LED-TV (usb kompatibel soundbar) och air hockey bord, öppna på balkongen med strålande vyer. Alla rum med undantag för våningssängar (endast fläkt) har luftkonditionering.

Gästtillgång: Inkluderar alla Magnolia Cottage (med undantag för en låst förråd och skåp nere) och 2 hektar trädgårdar.

Stallen är en separat bostad (även listad på HomeAway) separerad av fontänens innergård och grind.

Awesome doggy friendly cottage

Magnolia Cottage in Cooroy is a delightful, dog-friendly retreat! 🏡✨ The fenced yard was perfect for my dogs, and the cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The comfortable bed and thoughtful amenities made our stay enjoyable. The location was ideal for exploring nearby parks and trails, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive. Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

Tranquillity Plus

Lots of thought has gone into making this a most comfortable stay with lots of outdoor space to enjoy; situated in lush rainforest trees, with birdlife and pleasant outlook. Easy drive to Noosa and coastal sights.

Familiar feeling

Delightful home on gorgeous grounds reminded us of summer holidays at the family estate when times were simpler and happier. Secluded yet offers easy access to surrounding towns. The beds are very comfortable, and it was lovely to wake up to birdsong every morning. Will definitely stay again for a longer stretch of time.

Piece of Paradise on Earth

Upon arriving at "Magnolia Cottage" our first impressions were "WOW" what a totally amazing and finely manicured place. The gardens, landscape and views are absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous, the words to describe it is picturesque and serene. Literally a piece of paradise on Earth. The yard and decking areas are very well fenced and our little Jack Russell Oscar was totally safe and enclosed and not able to get out of the fenced area which was awesome! So Well done! Nicci the Owner was great at all times and communicated very well, she made us feel at home and was extremely helpful. A few points that would make Magnolia Cottage absolutely perfect are, it would be nice to have some tissues and air freshner in the cottage. I could not find any, but everything else was well stocked. A clothes line near the washing machine and dryer would be great to enable guests to hang out towels and washing to air dry. The house is very well appointed and lovely but the kitchen is on the older side and the inside of the cupboards and drawers need a really good clean with disinfectant. I found them quite dirty. The kitchen sinks were I am sorry Nicci but a total turn off and almost spoilt my stay, the stains and age of the sinks was not very nice, nor was the downstairs bathroom basin, the kitchen sinks really need to be replaced or bleached or re-enameled and the bathroom sink, the surrounding timber is bordering on mouldy. The oven needs a thorough clean also, it wasn't very clean. Thank you for a comfortable stay, the bedrooms were lovely and the heating was comforting. We hope to come back again one day when the kitchen has had it's improvements.

Things need improvement

Building was as advertised, however there were issues which spoiled the weekend. Remote on TV was playing up, after an hour we worked out the batteries were going flat. Spare batteries in the butlers pantry were the wrong size. Sound Bar was aweful, and there was no Cable and the remote (now working) was aweful. Then we were interrupted with people trying to access the stables, that wasted an hour, they eventually went off to find other acccommodations, but arrived back a few hours later after getting on to VRBO. Dish Washer - the door wouldnt close properly and was leaking water. Only 2 of the 5 burners on the stove were working. We were looking forward to a barbque - it was filthy, full of cockroaches, and there were rat droppings inside it and it was covered in grease. Outside of the building was mildewed, gardens overgrown and half dead, and the pond covered in a oily slime. Also the septic near the stables (which you have to walk past to access the house) was a bit whiffy and looked like it was leaking into the surrounding ground. Also the driveway was VERY steep and unpaved. Other than that it was OK. It's a shame as most of these issues are easily fixable and come down to having a bit of pride in your property and consideration for the people staying there. I would not recommend this property, and will not be staying there again.

A nice getaway

Loved the beautiful grounds. House felt clean, warm and welcoming and had lots of lovely touches. We loved our stay at Magnolia cottage and we were made to feel our pup was very welcome there too. Very relaxing stay and would definitely visit again. We did run into some problems with one of our cars however not being able to get up the driveway- the 4WD had no trouble however our Mazda sedan couldn’t climb the steep, loose gravel driveway and if it weren’t for the fantastic, lovely neighbours up the road coming to our rescue and allowing us to use their yard and driveway we could have been facing an expensive tow. All in all though, a wonderful weekend break away.

Great pet friendly accommodation

We had a lovely stay at the cottage but was a little disappointed with the close proximity of additional accommodation and guests. The shared access road needs a lot of upgrading as I had great difficulty getting my car back up to the main road.

Spacious cottage, great spot.

Spacious cottage with spacious rooms! Everything was clean and overall cottage had a nice homely feel to it. Had many inclusions (air con, fans etc) and the butlers pantry and kitchen was well equipped. Loved the high ceiling beams and open plan downstairs. Would definitely revisit!

Lovely place to chill for a few days with the fur kids

Such a lovely property that is made even better by the fully fenced yard so we could enjoy our few days off with the dogs. Beautiful house and lovely managers. Only tricky bit is that the shared driveway has suffered damage from the recent rains and is a bit difficult to navigate in a small front wheel drive car. Otherwise a lovely relaxing stay.

This home is in very convenient location ! Must stay again

This home is conveniently located near everything you may require yet far enough away to be secluded. The layout of the rooms is spacious with good wardrobe space to unpack. The house is stocked with all the essentials for your Stay, eg, kitchenware, rubbish bags, all the sprays and cleaning products that you often forget ! Clearly marked out areas for pets and childrens safety so all can relax. Beautiful home to relax in ! Reluctantly would recommend at the risk of it being able to book in again !!!

As tourists we visited Noosa regularly for almost 20 years before moving here. We love the hinterland with its mystical mountains, country drives, unique country towns, excellent food and coffee, and the glorious views.

We simply fell in love with the property. As have many of our guests! The combination of the house, views, gardens, dam, wildlife and serenity is unique.

Views (from everywhere!), space (everywhere) pet friendly, 2.5 acres of beautiful gardens with 2 fire pits and a charming cottage with an eclectic mix of furnishings. I find it almost impossible to be in a bad mood in these surroundings!
