Nice bach in a great location.

This is a very well equipped bach in a great location near the beach. The instructions were comprehensive and we immediately felt at home. The main bedroom and the sleepout were comfortable as was the bunk room. There is a large garden with outdoor dining, plenty of chairs and even a trampoline. Apart from the beach, there is a large forest behind the property with walking tracks and an adventure area for the kids.

Kids love this so much! Spending hours on the trampoline and in the outdoors the whole day. Going from beach to forest to strawberry farm :)

It was awesome staying at this modern batch perfectly located near the forest and beach. The batch was very clean and well maintained and the hosts were excellent in communicating the important bits before our arrival.

Perfect getaway so close to the beach!

This Bach had everything needed for the perfect family weekend getaway. The beds were comfy and house was very warm in winter with the use of a heat pump. The secure fencing was great for the children, along with the trampoline and kids toys and books. The outdoor shower is a real treat!

Great stay

We all really enjoyed our stay. Beds are nice and comfy and good quality pillows too. The yard space is really good for outdoor games like cricket. The only thing we were a bit disappointed about was that there was a hot tub listed in the amenities however there was no hot tub on the property.

Weekend get away

We had such a wonderful stay. The house was clean and tidy with enough space for our family of 6. It had everything that we needed and more. The kids loved the trampoline and even made friends with the neighbours. The weather wasn't the greatest but there were games to choose from so we kept ourselves occupied. Everything was in easy reach. We had the best time and will definitely be back in the near future. Thanks so much.

A fantastic house, will definitely visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! Great location and a lovely warm clean property with everything you could need. Our boys (age 6 and 3) are asking when can we go back again. Another trip will definitely be getting planned.

Great location, clean, tidy and has a dishwasher

Loved this bach and would 100% stay here again. The bach is in a great location on a quiet road - a few mins walk to the sea and there's also access via the back gate to the forest where you can walk a couple of mins to a community-built playground. There's also a large front lawn with a trampoline - great for the kids to burn off energy. It's a compact building but everything has been cleverly laid out so it feels spacious. The outdoor shower is great and very private (just remember to pull the privacy screen around - we didn't notice it initially). There's a dishwasher which is not common in NZ baches - this allowed us to spend more time relaxing rather than procrastinating over dishes. The only thing to be aware of is that there's no wifi. There's a strong 4G signal on Vodafone so I was able to work from "home" without any issues.

We purchased this property when our first grandchild arrived and within 2 1/2 years we had 5 grandsons, followed closely by 2 granddaughters.
They all love being at the beach, even now when all the boys are teenagers.
To date we have had many family fun times here and look forward to many more.

We love Waitarere, with the beach, forest, playgrounds, close to both Levin & Foxton for other amenities such as swimming pools & shopping, as well as the Manawatu, Horowhenua & Kapiti areas. Only 1.1/4 hrs to the capital city Wellington
