Mormors stuga - Fairmont

Öppen planlösning ljusa delad nivå stuga lämplig för bekväm och lugn weekendresa. Två dubbelrum och ett mindre med enkelsäng.

Denna stuga är bortkopplad på sina egna 10 tunnland i kullängen mellan Berry och Kangaroo Valley med sin egen uppfart. Det har fantastisk utsikt över dalen och vetter mot nordöstra så att du kan ligga i sängen och vakna upp med "gryningskoret" och sola dig bort från stadslivet och i fullständig integritet

Trädgården är inhägnat säkert från hagen så att du kan ta med dig din hund på ett säkert sätt och vara avslappnad att barnen är säkra. Du kan gå genom det stora norrläge paddockområdet där korna och deras kalvar går igenom den angränsande egenskapen. Hundar tillåtna inuti.

Beautiful Location

We loved our stay at Grandma’s cottage. Beautiful view and great space for the dog to run. Kids enjoyed exploring the property and checking out the wildlife. Peaceful break

Enjoyable stay with a couple of issues

We enjoyed our stay at Grandma’s cottage with our 2 dogs. The property is comfortable with lovely views and lots of native wildlife around.There were a couple of issues with the kitchen which we messaged the owner about when checking out but did not receive a reply. We found a number of dirty items had been put away without being cleaned properly. There were also some items in the fridge and kitchen cupboards that are well past their expiry date (in some cases many years out of date). We suggest the cupboards are checked and any expired items either thrown away or marked not for guest use.

Loved Grandma's Cottage

Had a brilliant couple of days. Unfortunately due to personal reasons we had to go home early but will return at a future time. We met Alison and her son Ollie - they were delightful.

Wonderfully peaceful country escape!

Grandma's Cottage is in a beautiful location, the perfect place to relax and appreciate nature. We valued the tranquility and privacy, such a great escape only 10 mins from Berry. The house was well equipped to cook family meals and was warm & homely. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Mountain privacy escape!

This place is purfect pet friendly, all staples needed in kitchen, massive double door fridge, under cover deck to amazing views, large combustian fireplace with all wood needed!

Great Weekend at Grandma’s Cottage

We had a great relaxing weekend at the cottage which lived up to the details in the listing. Penny was friendly and provided us with timely and accurate information. The only downside was that the kitchen needs a through clean.

Great little getaway close to our home!

Great property if you’re looking at getting away from the hustle and bustle. Great indoor fireplace, and the cottage felt like a home away from home with all the cooking utensils you need. Big thumbs up for having a dog friendly home too as we could enjoy the stay with our dogs too! Only ten minute drive to Berry. Alison who looked after our booking is lovely and was very accommodating with our request to postpone the weekend due to terrible weather. She was very understanding and extremely flexible with our needs. We’ll be back!! ❤️

Great holiday getaway!

Well located and on an amazing property. Kids had a ball, flying drone and building campfires and trudging off through the gully to pet the pony and see the cows in the big paddock. The back paddock is huge and our puppy had the best time running out to the big rock and sprinting home again. Everything aboit the stay was great. Kitchen well stocked, smart tv, cosy fireplace and a short drive to Berry or Kangaroo Valley. Highly recommended for a stay in the country. We also had the pleasure of meeting out hosts. Five stars.

Relaxing weekend

Everything was perfect and so comfortable in this beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Went on great walks with our dog within the property. The home was clean, beds very comfy, all modern appliances. We had great internet reception. Very helpful communication and excellent hospitality from the owners. We will definitely come back and also tell our friends about this glorious spot. It was absolutely perfect for our dog, who loved exploring the beautiful well fenced expansive yard.

Very relaxing country retreat

Well equipped property, lots of towels and linens, plenty of space for kids to run around. Very peaceful location and has a nice homely feel. Will be especially beautiful in cold weather I imagine with outdoor fire pit and wood burner indoors

Absolutely perfect

This property is very well maintained and has everything you need for a holiday. We had a great time here. The kitchen facilities are really good and the pantry very well stocked.

Wonderful cottage

We had a wonderful few days at this gem of a cottage. It began with great pre-stay communication with Penny, and a warm welcome when we arrived. The cottage is homely and comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing stay in a home away from home (including doggy things such as beds and bowls). Sitting on the verandah, taking in the view, listening to the creek and watching wildlife and the cows - could not find a more relaxing place! Would love to come back for another visit. The property is family owned and has three houses on 50acres of undulating rainforest country. With cattle, horses and a plant nursery all on separate portions, we share it with the family,. This cottage was the grandparents home but now available for short term rental when it is not being used by other family members

Built as a second cottage for a farm manger in the early 2000s it is now used as a family holiday home but, as the children get older, is often available for others to enjoy when sport takes up so many weekends!

It is peaceful, comfortable and very very secluded. Great place for a small family getaway. The floor plan is modern with a bedroom at each end of the cottage and the living area is sunken with open plan kitchen and living, seamlessly leading to a wide, north facing verandah overlooking grassy paddocks.
