The cabin and location were incredible. We had so much fun the first three hours. We went ahead and booked another week at the end of August. Had everything you needed.

A peaceful getaway

Cabin was good overall, but could use some updating. Lock box wasn’t easy to open, and door handle was very loose. Better lighting in main living area would help. Location was great...peaceful and quiet, close to great restaurants!

Perfect get-away

This property is perfectly placed right by walking trails, lake, and everything you need or want. The house has a very nice, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful porch for coffee and cocktails. A brand new BBQ grill, nice hot water and huge bedrooms. It is perfect for the whole family including the dog. I couldn't be happier, everything was clean and in working order. Our grandchildren will be talking about this vacation forever. Quiet neighborhood for sleeping with windows open!

Great Location!

We loved the cabin and it's location! Just walk outside and you have all the trails at your fingertips as well as Woodland Lake less than a mile away! Awesome! Even saw a deer! The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable! The layout was great as far as far as the layout of the bedrooms! The only real negatives would be to get rid of that carpet and update the two couches. I didn't even want to sit on them or go barefoot on the carpet. But that was just me. With that said, even the two small negative items won't keep us from staying there again! It is really a nice cabin! I'm sure we will be back!

Patio is fantastic

The back patio over looks the forest!! No homes behind you! Hiking trails right behind this place. We enjoyed our time and the weather.

Great location, good property

The location was great for proximity to hiking/walking trails. A path runs behind the property you can that borders forest land. Property meets all expectations, but does not exceed any. Chipmunks were found inside, able to get them out. Property manager not all that responsive. Overall value fell a little short.

dissapointed

Felt for the money we paid was not in good condition.Refridg handle was broken off lazy Suzan didn't turn, Chair was broken, back deck was full of debris and bat poop. We did leave a day early because it was so hot I think it was 90 degrees in the house. Everything was out dated ,guest bedroom could not get tv to work and some lights didn't work. But location was great.

Bones of home we’re good appliances were not and cleanliness not

The oven was filthy and we could not use it to cook nor the stove so we had to go out to eat the whole time instead of saving our money also the refrigerator does not have a door handle... there was something spilled that was sticky on the deck that should have been clean cobwebs all around the house that should have been cleaned we had to purchase toilet paper because there was not extra toilet paper after the one roll the same thing with paper towels and only one set of towels for the two of us in each bathroom... The overall home deck view etc. was awesome if it had been kept up better! With COVID-19 going on it was difficult to go out to eat when we wanted to stay our distance and because of the appliances we couldn’t 😷🙄

Would come back

Had a great couple nights in this cabin. Kids really enjoyed it as everything was safe. There were some dog fur on the blankets, don’t think it was washed in one room in particular. That was the only downside. Everything else was great. Awesome neighborhood and backyard was safe.

Great location, house needs some work

The location was perfect, backed up to a trail system and also super close to the main road that has all the restaurants and stores. The living room was the best room in the house, with a tall ceiling and beams, a cozy feel. The rest of the house can use some work. The house overall had an overwhelming musty smell, I think a lot of smells are trapped in the old carpet. The house also had a lot of bugs, which I know you should expect in the woods, but it seemed like an unusual amount. We killed several moths each night upstairs.

Relaxing stay

This cabin is really nice plenty of space for a family, the neighborhood is very quiet and close to everything. Our only issue was there was bugs like big black ants, spiders and lots of moths inside the cabin, so maybe the inside needs to be sprayed for bugs but other than than everything is very good and will stay here again.

Nice cabin secluded between pine trees backing up to National Forest land.

Cute cabin, secluded between pine trees backing up to National Forest land. Interior a little dated and worn "that is why I have 4 stars for cleanliness". Built in the early 80s, interior furnishings and carpet match that era. Price was reasonable. Nice stay however...
