Sovrummet har privat badrum. Spektakulär utsikt från bakre däck, sidodäck har utdragbar markis. 2 kajaker, 1 kanot, 2 pedalcyklar tillgängliga.

Easter Getaway

Very comfortable and great location

The property was just as described and very comfortable. It is really a beautiful spot and very quiet when we were there. The kitchen is one of the best equipped for a rental I've experienced. Really enjoyed the visit and hope to come again.

The best place ever!!

I don't know how I was so lucky to find such a perfect rental but I'm grateful I did. The house was exactly as it was portrait. The owners were so good about answering any questions I had. I wouldn't hesitate to rent here again!

Great place

We had a great weekend and really enjoyed relaxing and playing at this house. It had everything we needed and we were impressed with how well stocked it was compared to other places we've stayed. There was plenty of room for everyone and very comfortable. We hope to return.

Adirondack lake house

Everything was truly fantastic. We lost power due to the crazy storm, the property owners were really great in doing everything possible to mitigate the situation. We will definitely stay here again if renting in the area.

Force of Nature

This was the most beautiful home I have stayed in at Sacandaga Lake in 30 years. The property surrounding the home is gorgeous and the view is outstanding. Can’t wait to return!!

An amazing place for a relaxing getaway

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property very much. Everything was so perfect—the house was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and clean, well stocked with everything we needed. The owners made sure that guests are not bored. Between the board games, the well connected home with connected TVs in every room, and the sports equipment (kayaks and bicycles), there was plenty of things to do during our stay. Our kids had a great time with the foosball and ping pong tables. Everything about the property was so clearly explained and organized that we had minimal interactions with the owner but any questions we had were answered promptly. If you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation by a lake, I highly recommend this property. It’s perfect for families and couples!

Beautiful property!!

Beautiful lakefront property!! Had everything we needed, plus more! Enjoyed sitting on the deck each morning/evening. Quiet, relatively secluded neighborhood. Communication with owner was good. They provided very thorough rules/guidelines for our stay. Would definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back!

Sacandoga lake adventure

My family and I had a fantastic stay in the spacious and well equipped lake side home. Pros are amazing view of lake and mountains, direct access to dock and water for swimming and boating, great kitchen with great space for the kids to play or lounge downstairs. Use of the water toys/floats and fireplace was a great added plus. We created some great memories on this lake and in this house during our stay this July.

everything was excellent

This is beautiful, clean property with large decks and direct access to the lake and short drive from an excellent cross country ski center (Lake Lapland). The owners are very helpful. The kitchen is perfectly organized, large and fully supplied with anything you may think of. We are already planning to return.

Beautiful house, beautiful location!

This property was even better than I expected, and I expected a lot from online pictures. We went to leaf peep, and the colors were very good although just past peak. We had a problem with a malfunction of the water heater the final day of our stay, but the owners gave us a partial refund without us asking for it! We expect to stay here again in the future.

The House on the Lake

We absolutely loved staying at this home. It’s a spacious house and extremely well stocked. Anything we could possibly need was there. The owners, Larry and Stuart were very responsive. They always got back to me immediately. They provide thorough instructions about the house. A lot of what makes a stay pleasant are the hosts. We loved fishing off the dock. We caught lots of fish, and we released them all back. My husband and I truly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the back deck that overlooks the lake. Our nights were cozy by the fire pit making S’mores. We used their kayaks when not fishing. So much fun! We have rented 5 different homes (either my daughter or me) on Lake Sacandaga over the years. This home is in the top 2!

Relaxing and fun!

The property had everything we needed to get away for a few days. The view is fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped and has a ton of cookware for any style of cooking you may do. The large walk in shower is great with tons of natural light coming through the window (which also has a lake view) as well as the skylight above’ and another skylight in the kitchen as well.’ Being late winter and cold, we spent a lot of time playing table tennis, foos ball, laughing at each other, played board games, cards, listened to music with cocktails next to a warm, cozy fire! Hoping to get back here in warmer weather to take advantage of the lower patio, and upper deck. We did get dinner to go the first night from the restaurant two miles away. It was really good with very large portions and friendly staff. A wonderful home with owners who love and appreciate their property. Our adult son is already on board with going back with us the next time. Thank you Larry and Stuart for sharing your lovely property with us. Hope to see you again soon! Audrey and Bob Chagnon, VT.

Very Nice House

This rental is spacious, nicely appointed, and very clean. The photos on the site depict the property accurately. The deck overlooking the lake offered a relaxing place for morning coffee and evening cocktails, and provided a terrific location to watch the Labor Day “Ring of Fire” and fireworks displays. The floating dock was great and the ping pong table downstairs was fun to have. One thing that was not clearly disclosed in the listing is that the only way to get the kayaks or anything else into the lake is to carry them down a narrow and pretty steep set of stairs with a railing only on one side. This is likely not a huge problem for most guests, but something to consider if you prefer easier water access. We did have a couple of minor housekeeping issues, but they did not detract from our overall satisfaction with the property and perhaps reflected nothing more than “end-of-summer” fatigue. The owners responded quickly to our questions, handled our rental arrangements efficiently, and returned our security deposit promptly.
