This large, spacious house is so cozy and beautifully furnished. We had three generations of our family here ranging from a four-month old to my husband and me in our 60's. The kitchen was well-furnished for cooking our meals in. We were attending a wedding at The Drumore Mill in Drumore, Pa. and this was very convenient for our family. The setting is lovely and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck and hearing the little brook and crickets with lots of privacy on the large wooded lot. :)

Country Charm & Relaxation

The New Providence area home was everything we had hoped it would be — and more! This property easily accommodated our group of 10 (8 adults, two teenagers) and furnished the perfect setting for our trip to PA. It is a convenient distance and easy drive to Lititz, Strasburg and Lancaster where we enjoyed the production of Noah at Sight & Sound Theater and the Tabernacle Experience. In addition we hand-crafted at Julius Sturgis Pretzel, stocked up at Whiff Coffee, indulged at Wilbur Chocolates and sampled the variety at the Lancaster Central Market. We had wonderful meals at the Speckled Hen, Dosie Dough Bakery, Bespoken, Chellas Arepas and Callaloo; and made must-visits to Rolled Cold Creamery and Down on the Farm Creamery (Post Office Road location). I don’t know what the previous reviewer was talking about in their negative review as we found the house and property so very comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable - we only wish we could have stayed longer than 4 nights. The house came furnished with everything we could have wanted and was set up so very well. The Adirondack chairs by the fire pit near the creek provided a nice afternoon wind-down, and there was more than enough wood provided for a campfire to enjoy the smores’ welcome package located on the kitchen island. When we did have an issue with one of the upstairs window A/C units, a call to Rachel and she came the same day with a brand new replacement unit! We hope to return and explore more of what this area has to offer, including another delightful stay at this house.

The pictures sell a lie, the truth is this place is right in front of a road, with busy people with trucks and motorcycles, could not even enjoy the outside area because of the septic tank, actually disgusted by the smell. This whole place is one of those, look at this in a magazine pretty, but in real life. shallow and empty. We had to plug the outside lights to the inside after the first night. it was supposed to be a once in a life time memory, turned into ruin by reminders of bad septic tank smell, and busy roads. This was not the picture in our heads we wanted, that was sold to us.

Perfect for family gathering. Loved it

This house was perfect for our family. We stayed Feb 2025, 15 family members. Plenty of room for all. House was immaculate and well stocked - plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. Everyone's favorite was the coffee nook - regular coffee pot, Kerig, plenty of coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. I had to call the host twice while we were there with basic questions - she got back to me right away and was very sweet. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Trip for Families

We stayed an extended weekend and had the BEST time! Kids are asking when we can come back and stay a week. The house was perfect for kids of all ages. So much exploring outside and all the activities/ toys you can imagine inside. Kitchen had everything you would need for a large group including a hot tea/ coffee station. Very clean home with comfortable beds. Will def be booking again.

A Perfect Family Weekend

Reunion Weekend

We had a fantastic time at Rachel’s home during a long weekend reunion with a group of young families. The house has everything you need from comfortable rooms to laundry to a fully-stocked kitchen and multiple play areas for kiddos. The outdoor area is an absolute dream, and we had a blast exploring the creek, roasting s’mores and kicking balls around. Also, when there was a brief power outage in the area, Rachel was easy to get in touch with and very helpful. 10/10 recommend!

A great family reunion

Our large family reunionwas just perfect here! It was a great place to gather together, from meals at the large dining table, to outdoor lawn games, to board games played throughout the house. It is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The forest and creek surrounding made it feel like a private oasis. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Family Reunion!

Beautiful property and house! We enjoyed it so much! Rachel, the property manager, was wonderful to work with and very responsive. Actually, once we got into the house, there was no need to even contact her until a couple of hours before we checked out. The house is on a well, and a faulty refill valve on a toilet, ran the well dry overnight. Not her fault...these things just happen. But she was apologetic and responsive. Other than that, everything is very fully functional and in good shape! The one and only complaint any of us had was the odor from the septic system. We have no idea what was going on...it was only outside, and no one ever walked in any soggy area. Other than the odor, it didn't affect the joy the children (and adults!) had while playing outside. Thank you for providing a wonderful place for our family reunion! Lots of sweet memories were made!

This is our 2nd year in a row and we may be back for a 3rd.Kitchen is large and part of the great room so all can gather while the cooking takes place.Wonderful fireplace and a firepit along the stream as well. Close to Lancaster. This was our 6th year of renting a large house and this one wins.

Perfect house for large groups.

We were a group of 5 families with children ranging from 1yr-9yr. House is large enough without issues. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The play area near the kitchen was perfect for small children. Baby gates are installed on the stairs.The wood burning fireplace, with firewood provided, was amazing. As well as the firepit near the creek.The house was immaculately clean and well stocked. The host responded quickly, answered questions, and even work with me on special requests. Very polite.We will be staying here again.

My family had a wonderful week at this gorgeous cabin! We’ve rented quite a few cabins over the years and we unanimously believe that this house is THE BEST yet. It’s not only beautiful and clean, it has been stocked with items and amenities we’ve not ever seen stocked before! My father was so grateful to find cornstarch in the pantry when he discovered he forgot to pack it. My sisters had the same experience with nutmeg for their eggnog. We also cheered when we saw a brand new sponge in the kitchen sink along with dish soap! Plus, the adorable Fall decorations added to the wonderful cabin in the woods ambiance we enjoyed so much. And the informational brochures and booklet, with the gift of s’mores ingredients was over the top appreciated! We can’t thank the owner enough for a most enjoyable family getaway!!

Fabulous Vacation Home

This house has everything you need for an amazing vacation! There was ample sleeping space for the 18 of us in the knitting group. With two full kitchens and two gathering spaces, we didn't lack for cooking space or conversational space. The front porch was a great place to sit on the swing and listen to the birds and just relax. It went above and beyond our expectations. All of us said we would definitely stay there again!

House was beautiful and well stocked for family fun! We brought 17 ladies, we were able to relax and enjoy the porches and inside gathering areas. We will definitely be back!
