What a wonderful wknd! We very much enjoyed the beautiful fireplace, the covered porch that was always shaded and the always sunny dock. Great spot on the lake! Fantastic host as well

Two couples enjoyed everything about this beautiful home…the standouts were the water view from any of the decks or the evening view from the fireplace…enjoying s’mores and wine….nothing better! We will definitely be back!

The Perfect Rental!

Sunrise on Badin is the perfect lake home and beautiful place to visit with family and friends. We go annually and are always looking forward to the ‘next’ visit. You won’t find a better place to unwind and relax!

Family Getaway

Great house and outdoor area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck off the master bedroom every morning with coffee and building a fire in the outdoor fireplace to roast marshmallows in the evening. The downstairs area was also great for relaxing and playing games. We hope to visit again!

Great family getaway

We loved our stay here and would happily return! The house was clean and had everything we needed.We appreciated the very thorough binder with detailed information. Kids loved the air hockey table and jumping off the 2nd level dock. Quiet, beautiful property & cove!

Wonderful family Lakehouse at Badin lake

We had a wonderful stay and experience over the Fourth of July holiday week at this property. Owner was great communicating and very accommodating. We had everything we needed and then some. Thank you again.

Excellent Mini-Vacation

A tradition for us (4 close friends) to congregate at a lake in NC or SC for 4 days of fishing. This was year 10 and the house and lake did not disappoint. Easy check-in and communication with the owner. House was as advertised and was everything we needed/wanted. Will certainly stay again!

Delightful

We so enjoyed our stay at Sunset on Badin. The home is immaculate, organized, There are generous provisions, nice appliances, comfortable beds. There are so many spaces indoors and out to enjoy your stay. Instructions are detailed and clear. Paul made everything simple for us. We were glad that we could bring our ski boat.

Beautiful spot on the lake!

Lost of space in the house to stretch out and relax! Great sunrise and winter sunsets. Very clean, very well stocked kitchen, comfy beds! Lots to explore in nearby Uwharrie National Forest. Would love to revisit when the weather is warmer to take advantage of the lake amd jumping off the upper deck and swimming! Paul was an A-class host, very attentive and easy to reach/communicate with! We would love to return again!

Spectacular lake house

The house was exactly as we expected from the description. Cute, clean, comfortable, very equipped kitchen, they even left us a bottle of wine and chocolates. It unfortunately rained most of our stay but the lake was still gorgeous. There really wasn’t anything bad to say about it. We will be back.
