Mountain Village Retreat

Renoverat stuga med två sovrum i Arthurs Pass Village. Fantastisk utsikt över byn och norrut i dalen. Enkel åtkomst till populära vandringsleder, bykaféer och tågstation.

Bach har just renoverats med skjutdörr till sovrummet, nya dubbelglasade fönster i vardagsrummet och sovrummen, dubbelglasade skjutdörrar på ett däck på nordsidan och ny värmepump. Dubbelsängen och bäddsoffan är båda nya. Täcken tillhandahålls men ta med eget linne och handdukar.

Observera att det här är en äkta Arthurs Pass-bach - en fjällstuga på cirka 42 kvm. Det rekommenderas för asketiska personer som letar efter ett enkelt boende. Fantastiskt ställe att koppla av eller vandra. Idealisk bas för att trampa, bergsbestigning eller köra till kust-tävling. Kort promenad till kaféer och besökscenter.

Simple accomodation with a fantastic view up towards the pass, just lovely to feel cosy and watch the sheets of rain, and mountains appear then disappear in the clouds.

This basic mountain bach delivered on its promise, including snow on the deck in September. The double glazed ranch sliders were appreciated.

Amazing views and lovely place

We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of sunlight this place gets considering it's in Arthurs pass. Lovely place with a good heatpump. Dave was very responsive to questions we had about our stay.

A perfectly situated Kiwi Bach

Right in the village of Arthur's pass this lovely kiwi bach provided all I needed for a happy weekend break. It is not luxurious but it does not pretend to be. It is warm and the situation could hardly be beaten.

Comfy Bach an easy walk from just about everything

The bach was easy to find and clean and tidy on arrival.It had everything we needed for a comfortable couple of days in Arthur's Pass. We stayed over summer and had good weather. The bach get's good sun and was nice and warm. We loved the selection of reading materials, not that we had much time to read it as we were here to walk.My mum is 71 and she would have preferred an indoor toilet - the outdoor one her reminding her of her early years. (The toilet is attached to the house, but you have to go out the front door to get to it).However, this will definitely be my first choice for stops in Arthur's Pass going forward.

Good location and house for 1 night

Simple hut with what we needed for a 1 night stay in Arthur’s Pass. Beautiful views and the short distance to the road was not as noice as you would have thought. Great deck to sit on and either look back up at the mountains or down over the train station and the life around it. The beds aren’t good enough in our opinion. We all had a pretty rough sleep. The top bunk has the best mattress we think, maybe less usage. We tried to ask a question before arrival but it was never answered. We had been told that communication wouldn’t be possible over the period of our stay. If the beds were better then we would come back one day. No bags for the trash so bring that yourself :-)
