Detta vackra anpassade hem Ă€r en bekvĂ€m privat tillflyktsort mitt i bergen, men bara nĂ„gra minuter frĂ„n alla aktiviteter som detta omrĂ„de har att erbjuda. Det Ă€r det bĂ€sta frĂ„n bĂ„da vĂ€rldar! Ligger fem minuter öster om centrum av Gunnison, 30 minuter till Crested Butte och 10 minuter till Blue Mesa Reservoir. Detta hem Ă€r 2500 kvadratmeter bestĂ„ende av följande: BottenvĂ„ning: Öppen planlösning med ett stort kök, frukostbar med plats för tre, matplats med plats för sex och stort vardagsrum med öppen spis. Det finns tvĂ„ badrum och ett sovrum med tvĂ„ enkelsĂ€ngar. Andra vĂ„ningen: Spelrum (fyllda med spel, pussel, kort, pokerbord, etc.) som har en dagssĂ€ng med tvĂ„ enkelsĂ€ngar, sovrummet med en king size-sĂ€ng, junior sovrummet med en queen size-sĂ€ng och ett stort badrum med en kombination av dusch / badkar. Flera stora garderober finns i hela hemmet, sĂ„ det finns inga problem att ordna sig! Detta Ă€r ett extremt privat hem som backar upp till BLM-land, men Ă€ndĂ„ Ă€r staden Gunnison bara nĂ„gra minuter bort!

Beautiful home and property, we enjoyed our stay. My son graduated from Western and we cooked a lot. Very usable space to have friends and family around.

Great stay in the Stone House!

Great property suited our needs for a week of riding single track in the surrounding mountains. Place was perfect, we'll likely be back next year!

Good access to hunt

The property is of course in a beautiful setting and accommodations are perfect for our group. But the “kicker “ is that it’s located closer to the area we prefer to hunt. Thank you Glen Barksdale

Perfect Retreat

In town for a family memorial service and the Stone house was a perfect getaway. Very well furnished and super clean. Amanda was always responsive and an overall terrific host.

Family hunting trip

Stone House Getaway

Perfect spot! Less than a mile away from Western Colorado University, and 30 minutes from Crested Butte. Such a secluded spot with stunning views! All the amenities you could ask for. Adorably decorated and furnished. Great trip!

Great home!

We spent Labor Day weekend in Gunnison. This home was perfect! Plenty of space, a beautiful yard, and very clean. We will stay here again on our next trip to Gunny!

Lovely home with attentive host

This home was the perfect place for our family ski trip. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and the living room/kitchen area was roomy as well. Even had games for us to play during our stay! The host was friendly and attentive when we had questions.

Beautiful views and privay!

This is a perfect location for launching many outdoor experiences in the area, yet is still close to town. The house is perched on a hill with spectacular views and sunsets, and the nearest neighbor is several hundred yards away. The interior is spacious and excellent for a family retreat. I would stay here again.

Incredible Stay in Gunnison

6 of us from Idaho and Colorado gathered for a few days at this amazing property to ride dirt bikes in the surrounding area. This home was just what we needed to relax and recharge throughout our stay. It was very clean and accommodated our group of 6 very well. The beds were comfortable and having 3 bathrooms with showers was a huge plus. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need to prepare meals. We also utilized the garage to perform maintenance on our dirt bikes throughout the stay and it is a nice large space. I would highly recommend this property, we will surely be staying here again on future trips.

Family fun

We enjoyed our week long stay with our family. The house was well stocked and very clean. The setting was beautiful and had room for parking and kids to play in the snow. The drive was well kept with all the snow. We would stay again!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Everything was as described. We stayed during very cold weather and we were plenty warm each day and evening. We had everything we needed. The house and property were beautiful. The fireplace was so cozy and warm. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Gunnison Vacation

This house was absolutely perfect for our family ski vacation (first family vacation since COVID) We had 6 adults on our trip and everyone was so comfortable. The house is beautiful as well as spacious . I truly would not have changed a thing
except for perhaps staying longer 😊

Serene spot

Our family came from out of town(s) for my Mom’s funeral. It was the perfect place to come together to reminisce and grieve. There was plenty of room for all of us, giving us privacy - but still being together. It’s a beautiful home! Just close enough to town, but private too. Thank you for opening your home to us during a hard time.

Unique Stone and Post & Beam Home

This would have been a perfect property for our stay, except that it was advertised to have a hot tub. We specifically sought out a property with a hot tub, so it was very disappointing to discover on check in day that there was no hot tub. False advertising! The host apologized promptly for the misinformation. Otherwise, it was a cool house, and we slept very comfortably.

Beautiful home

The house was just as described and just as beautiful as in the photos. All the essentials were available plus extras. There were games available which was a pleasant surprise for my daughter. There was no A/C in the house but with a fan going of the evening it was nice and cool inside. I would highly recommend staying at this property and will add to our list if ever back in the Gunnison area.

Warm and Comfortable

This is a lovely home. We were never sure how this home is heated. This is not to say it wasn’t warm. The home maintains a perfect temperature throughout the home including the garage. We would like to return again next year. Thank you.

Gunnison Hideaway

Home located just out of town, but not far at all. We enjoyed the property, and it met all of our needs. We'll come back to Gunnison for sure! Pros- house view is amazing; spacious bedrooms, DirecTV, private/secluded for a couples getaway, or a family event. Cons- Internet was spotty most of the time, we had to use our weak cell signals to access internet. When you're new to an area, the internet is important to know what's around you for entertainment and eating. It was very warm in the upstairs bedrooms in the evening and nights. Fans usage is a must. Master bedroom doesn't have it's own bathroom; hot water takes time to get "hot".

Family weekend at WCU

This is a beautiful home and property just 5 minutes from campus as advertised. We had three generations of family for five nights and plenty of room for all. We cooked every single day and had all the necessary kitchen items to make big meals (for our college boy and his friends). My parents who are in their 80's loved watching the chipmunks in the rock walls surrounding the yard. They also enjoyed the fireplace late in the evenings and early in the mornings. It is fair to note that this is most likely a 5 star property in the winter as it is so well built and insulated, but it was unseasonably warm for October and too warm for us upstairs at bedtime (not too warm for the 80 year-olds but definitely for the 50 year-olds). The home has multiple layers of storm windows so we only succeeded in opening one bedroom window about 6 inches. Unfortunately, this meant the highway noise and the heavy equipment at the rock quarry a few hundred yards away made sleeping in past 6:30 a.m. difficult. But this is out of control of the homeowners and if the many layers of windows are closed, the noise is not a problem for sleeping and fans are available in every room. Also fair to say in the afternoons when we were enjoying the yard, we didn't find the heavy equipment or highway noise to be a distraction or nuisance at all. We enjoyed the property and love that people share their multi-million dollar homes with us! Thanks so much.

Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the home. We had a group of 7, and there was plenty of room. The views were great(my 4 year old loved watching the chipmunks) and it was located a close drive to town. The only downside may be having no ac in July. We are from Oklahoma and we’re not use to that!
