Boulder Lodge är en underbar, nyrenoverad timmerstuga / lodge belägen på en privat halvö med över 470 fot sjövatten, sandbottenstrand för vader eller bad, stor båtlandning och 2 fiskebryggor med bänkar; det är mycket som din egen privata utväg!

Vår vackra timmerstuga erbjuder ett bra sätt att uppleva Northwoods of Wisconsin. Boulder Lodge ligger vid Little Sissabagama Lake (lokalt benämnd Little Siss), som är en privat 325 tunnland stor sjö med kristallklart vatten och många avskilda vikar och öar. Little Siss är en "tyst" sjö med nästan ingen trafik och är utmärkt för båtliv (upp till 130 HK motorer), slang, fiske (klass A Musky sjö), kajakpaddling och bad. Boulder Lodge är också bra under vintersäsongen - njut av bra isfiske strax utanför ytterdörren, snöskoter på sjön och det omgivande området, längdskidåkning och en öppen lägereld under stjärnorna!

Little Siss ligger i hjärtat av den nordvästra skogen i Wisconsin mellan städerna Spooner och Hayward, och anses av många vara ett av de finaste exemplen på en Northwoods sjö på grund av det olika landskapet, tät täckning av olika trädslag och ett överflöd av fisk- och fågelpopulationer.

Boulder Lodge har varit ett länge landmärke med en rik lokal historia; det fungerade som ett träningsläger för många välkända boxare, inklusive Karl Ogren som vann Chicago Tribune Golden Gloves på 1930-talet. Boxningslägret (Boulder Lodge) var också värd för Jimmy Braddock - som var den tunga boxningsmästaren 1935, och en film med titeln "Cinderella Man" som producerades 2005 baserades på hans karriär.

The Lodge är över 3 500sf och sover bekvämt upp till 12 personer. Det finns 2 kompletta badrum och 1 halvbad, 4 sovrum (3 med Queen size-sängar och 1 med en tvillingstor våningssäng), ett stort loftområde (med 1 Queen size-säng), en stor 2 berättelse exponerad logg-vardagsrum (som var värd för boxningsringen under träningslägret på 1930-talet), ett stort fullt utrustat kök med avancerade apparater (inklusive vinkyl / kylare), en mycket stor gångkällare som är redo för underhållning ( med naturliga stenväggar) komplett med ett biljardbord, ping-pongbord och ett shuffleboard-bord. Stugan är också laddad med flera bekvämligheter och bekvämligheter inklusive centralvärme / luftkonditionering, vackra konstnärliga vedeldade spisar, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, Internet (Wi-Fi) och HD-tv med inbyggd- i DVD-spelare i alla rum.

Wonderful Cabin!

Our family celebrated Christmas this year at this beautiful cabin. It is spacious, with lots of room for people to do different activities (games, crafts, read, cook). The kitchen was fully stocked. The only thing we could not find is a corkscrew. The table was large enough so that the entire family could eat together at each meal. There are four bedrooms and a loft. My husband and I slept in the loft. Since the loft overlooks the main common area, we used the (provided) fan for "white noise" since the grandkids get up quite early! Downstairs there is a pool table, ping pong table and shuffleboard table. We played a lot of ping pong. It was cold down there, even though we turned the electric fireplace on in each room, but with a sweatshirt and slippers it wasn't too bad. The kids LOVED the video game table. We would definitely return to this cabin!

Perfect Womens Retreat

Boulder Lodge was a perfect location for our girlfriends annual retreat. The great room is spacious and very well suited for all 10 of us. Easy access for cross country skiing or snowshoeing. We enjoyed our stay.

2024 X-mas getaway

Just what we were looking for. Enjoyed it immensely. The arcade machine turned out to be an unexpected bonus. Found out who the Masters were for sure. I enjoyed the many older books to page through. I could just imagine what life must have been like nearly 100 years ago. The setting was perfect for that.

Great family lodge experience with incredible views

Boulder lodge did not disappoint! Wonderful family get away with plenty to do and see. Spectacular views with lots to explore. The family game area with a pool table, ping pong table and shuffle board were a big hit! The kids and adults had fun with the arcade table and bringing back memories of the games from our childhood! The cozy decor and history of the lodge was great. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace with its warmth and ambience. We can’t wait to come back and try more fishing and exploring.

Great place to connect with Friends

We loved our stay at the cabin, location is great. It has everything you could need to entertain yourself and the kids. Large enough for big groups but still feels cozy while giving everyone their own space. Would love to go back during fall, as the view from from the kitchen should be amazing

Family Time at the Cabin

Great spacious cabin with all the extras!Our large family enjoyed the many inside things to do since we visited when the lake was frozen. Still, we found time to explore on the lake and do some ice fishing. We mostly stayed inside the cozy cabin and played pool, ping-pong, old-school arcade games, board games, watched movies, and had a great time together as a family.The kitchen is fully furnished, but we did have to wash dishes prior to using as other guests must not be as particular when washing up. ;) The view of the lake from the kitchen and dining areas is spectacular.Communication with property managers/owners was fantastic. Wifi was adequate for email and basic use, though it would be good to note that streaming is not possible due to weak signals. Prepare for that ahead of time and "go dark" for your stay. You won't regret getting off your phone or computer for a while anyway.We made some great memories and cherished our time with family--12 of us stayed (including three small children) and it didn't feel crowded.Overall, a wonderful cabin on the lake!

Excellent family week up 'nort

This year we chose to stay at this historic cabin. We comfortably slept 6 adults and 5 children and two pups. Positives (in no particular order): Well-equipped and everything worked as it should, A/C worked well, dock fishing for kids and adults, swimming area and sandbar good for swimming/wading, internet excellent, TV excellent, the old arcade machine was a big hit, good hot water for showers and washing, huge cabin plus full basement with games, story of the property was very cool and movie was very good, local pontoon rental delivered and picked up the pontoon, plenty of towels, huge dining table, two very new docks, close enough to Stone Lake for basics, comfortable beds. Couple of negatives: no sandy beach, advise water shoes, suggest a dump truck full of sand, kitchen needs more forks, lots of steps to docks and also cabin steps, needs more places to hang towels/swimsuits, suggest close line. Over-all: 22 thumbs up from our family group of 11. -BOD (Bank of Dad) July 5-12, 2024

Thanks for the memories

Wonderful place for together time and big enough for everyone to have their space. Love the big dinning room table so we all could eat together. The loft was a hit with the younger ones. We appreciate you sharing the history of the place and giving us the opportunity to create new memories.
