Vårt mysiga hem ligger bara 8 kvarter från historiska Main Street. Är lättillgänglig från höjdpunkterna i St. Karl. Main Street har fantastiskt nattliv samt god mat. Ameristar Casino är 1. 3 miles från bostad för att ge en uppfattning om platsen. Vårt hem har varit i vår familj sedan det byggdes nytt 1952. Nyligen uppdaterad med nya vardagsrumsmöbler, köksgolv, apparater, bänkskiva.
Vårt hem hade nya vardagsrumsmöbler bestående av soffa och 3 stolar. Köket uppdaterades i oktober med alla nya apparater, nya bänkskivor och golv. Badrummet uppdaterades också med nytt golv. Du hittar köket utrustat med allt du behöver för att förbereda måltider om du skulle vilja. Hjälp dig själv till någonting där inne. Köket är utrustat med grunderna inklusive tallrikar, glas, redskap, kaffebryggare, kaffe, brödrost. Badrummet är utrustat med handdukar, tvätta kläder, schampo och kroppstvätt. Det finns 3 TV-apparater i hemmet samt internet.

Great Experience

The house was really cute and offered a "homey" feel while we explored downtown St. Charles and St. Louis. The property was exactly as described and we all really enjoyed our time there.

Hockey Camp Stay

I stayed with my grandson for four nights so he could attend hockey camp. The property was okay, but could have used a deep cleaning on the inside and some yard work on the outside. The steps from the driveway to the house were hazardous.

Quick trip

We just needed a few nights stay to visit family while traveling. This place was so cozy. Everything we could possibly need. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. Highly recommend. Love downtown st Charles area with all the history and this place was perfect! Thank you!

Aunt Doodle’s house

Crazy cute place to stay! The family memorabilia was so interesting, and the home was clean and cozy. St Charles is a wonderful historical area to visit. Would highly recommend this home to others visiting the area. Robert, the host, was friendly and helpful.

Great Weekend Away

My wife was in the Mosaics art fair and this was the perfect place to stay. It was close enough to main street to walk if we wanted to. It was also very accomodating.

Relaxing Getaway

My two sisters and I decided to do a weekend getaway and this cottage worked well for us. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with interesting houses and rolling hills. We loved the fact that it’s so close to the Historic Old Main Street for shopping and dining. We also enjoyed reading about the history of the house and the pictures from when the family lived in it. It wasn’t a problem for us but if you have any mobility issues, you might have issues with this house. Access from the street involves walking up a fairly steep sloped yard to reach the front door as there are no steps up from the street. The stairs inside the house to the bedrooms upstairs are also steep which is common for houses built in 1953. I just want to mention it since it could be a problem for some.

Cottage stay

Comfortable and close to lively old town St. Charles. We were riding the Katy Trail so the washer and dryer were very appreciated. The housekeeping service should be monitored as cleanliness was an issue.

Lazy housekeeper - dishes were in the dishwasher, extra bedding randomly tossed in dresser, yard not mowed or cleaned up. Rocks, used as steps, leading to front door move and are dangerous. Clothes rod in upstairs closet falls off. For what you charge for cleaning, I would expect nicer. Probably would not stay there again based on above and proximity to Old St Charles.

Cozy and Clean

We had a nice stay at this property. Robert was easy to communicate with and the house was centrally located. Between historic Main Street and Lindenwood University, we were able to be in all parts of St. Charles within minutes.

Our family loved our stay…Robert is the ultimate host and made our stay special. The host provided detergent, fabric softener, coffee, and other amenities. We would stay here again in an instant.

Girls trip

A lot of one way streets made it hard to get back to the house. The bathroom definitely needed a better cleaning. The house was nice otherwise, lots of leaves that needed raked. Heat worked well. Well stocked kitchen supplies, could have had a bigger coffee pot.
