The property was exactly what was expected based on the listing. It was a great place to stay. Wendy is a good host and very welcoming. Would stay there again.

Charming and cosy

A delightful, colorful retreat... warm and dry despite the heavy rain. Warm welcome from the Bryan and Wendy. Short walk to the ocean for sunrise, and a short drive to Athenree for hot springs. We had a great time.

You will be looked after by the owner as the bach located at the back of the owner’s house. It’s nice, clean, and quite.

A few days break

Myself and my 2 girls enjoyed our stay so much. Was a great location for a few days break away. Owners were super friendly and helpful. So handy to walk to the boat club for dinner.

Lovely Bowentown Escape

Summer Beach Break

Awesome location for us as close to the beach, Waihi village and dairy and other facilities at Waihi township. Cottage was clean and private.

Great start to our road trip.

Great location and this little cabin had everything we needed. The AC was very much needed on the hot summers day and nights. Thankyou for the dvd selection pick out for my son.

Cute little house

This is a great little house within walking distance of the harbour and the ocean. It is quite close to owners house and neighbours so not that private.. We were very well looked after and made welcome.

An Amazing Bach in Bowentown

We had a wonderful stay at The Arc. A great location and a wonderful little unit. Brian is an amazing host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend staying at The Arc.

Food for the soul

Wendy and Brian are the most fantastic, kind, caring hosts. The Ark is beautifully set up, clean, cozy, peaceful, and has an amazing covered deck for watching the sunset. The beds are very comfortable, and the location is brilliant. Just a quick stroll to the estuary , beach, boat club, or bike path to Waihi Beach. This is a stunning part of the country. Can't wait to return to keep exploring!

Nice batch for a small family. Owners Brian and Wendy are great. The cleanliness is a 10 for me and also had everything in the house that you would need. Lots to do in and around the area. Will visit again soon.

We loved this cosy cabin. It had everything we needed and was in a prime spot to walk to beaches or drive to local attractions. We'd love to come back in summer.

Perfect bolthole near the sea

My husband and I, and two young kids, stayed for a couple of nights during the school holidays. It's a spacious bach, with plenty of all the things you need for a good holiday. We enjoyed our time here very much. The hosts are lovely!

Clean, warm, great location.

Our young family had a great stay here. Property was very clean and tidy. Lovely warm home. Very close to beach access and playground. Hosts were good, honest people! My husband went out fishing with Brian and would give 10stars if he could. Thank you again.
