Denna lyxiga timmerstuga ligger i en tät tall och aspskog. På sommaren kan du njuta av de avkopplande ljuden från Prospect Creek från de två däcken på fastigheten. Bara 1. 5 miles från Mountain Village Core, där du hittar shopping, restauranger tillsammans med den kostnadsfria gondolen som länkar direkt till Telluride. Parkera din bil i det 2 biluppvärmda garaget och kör aldrig med Mountain Villages gratis Dial-a-Ride. Åka in med Prospect skidspår och åka ut med en kort 0. 1 mil promenad till Sundance skidspår.

Denna hyra har en unik installation med två hus med 4BR, 3bath Main House och en komplett 1BR, 1bath, med kökstudio apt ovanför garaget. Gäst har tillgång till båda enheterna vilket gör det idealiskt att dela med vänner och familj som erbjuder integritet mellan enheterna.

Huvudbyggnad:
Huvudbyggnaden består av tre nivåer och har två däck och en badtunna. Huvudnivån har ett mysigt stort rum med elektrisk spis och strålningsvärme på golvet. Dess öppna planlösning har ett familjerum, matsal, kök och en intim läsekroken perfekt för en bok och en kopp kaffe. Köket är utrustat med avancerade Viking-apparater och sub-zero apparater och är utrustade med kryddor och matlagningstillbehör. Huvudnivån har också två sovrum, alla med drottningssängar och de delar ett badrum.

Den övre nivån är det privata Mästerskapen, komplett med eget badrum med ångdusch. Den har en helt ny Casper Hybrid-madrass (köpte december 2019), nya lakan och dyne (köpte december 2019). Den har en privat balkong och ett kontorsloft.

Den lägre nivån har ett king size-sovrum med eget badrum och tillgång till bubbeldäck. Tvättmöjligheterna finns här.

Wonderful Telluride Mountain Village log home!

We came for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and it was really perfect for our group of 4 couples! Great bedding in all the rooms, we all enjoyed our comfy beds after a long day at the festival. The kitchen was very well appointed w a sweet espresso machine! The dial a ride worked with amazing precision as well so transportation to and from the free gondola into town was a breeze.

Awesome Christmas Get Away

We loved the house, location and amazing views. . The owner communicated regularly and offered many great tips. The house was really clean and it was obvious the owner wanted us to fell like an owner and not simply a renter or the house was just an investment property. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was fitted with the latest technology. Each room had. Smart TV and the family room had a wonderful remote controlled fireplace. The house included a large mud room which was perfect to come in out the snow and easily store our things in custom lockers. Furniture was clean and comfortable. We had easy access to a free local sHuttle and hitting the slopes was easy. We were very pleased and plan to stay again in the future. The house really made our family vacation memorable.

Telluride 2023

There were 7 teenagers and 7 adults that stayed at this house. Everyone was able to sleep in a bed which was nice. Overall the house is in good shape and well maintained. There are a few things that need attention but nothing serious. It should be listed as a Ski in/Walk Out house (it is not a ski out house). It is a 5 minute walk uphill to get to Sundance where you can ski out. And at 10,000 feet of elevation it was a harder walk for some of the older people. You can ski in on a cat track run that starts at Prospect Express and ends up behind the across the street neighbors house. The Village Dial a Ride service is great. We never had to wait for more than 10 minutes for them to pick us up. Overall a good house.

Awesome ski vacation in Telluride

This place is truly awesome! Beautiful, giant log home with every imaginable modern comfort. 5 min walk to the slopes at the beginning of the day and can ski to within 20 yards of the house at the end of the day. A true gem.

We are a family of 5 who loves to travel. My wife and I have been to over 40 countries and most of the States. With 3 kids and we've enjoyed summer vacations visiting our nation parks. In the winter - we ski! We are always looking for the next adventure. Arches and Canyonlands are favorites for our kids as its a short trip from Telluride.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Our mountain modern chalet was a project that took vision and a lot of hard work. In terms of the intangibles for us - It had the perfect location for us. It was close to the action yet not on top of it. It had ski-in access. It had all the convenience of Mountain Village. It had good bones - it was built using massive sized log beams which are much larger in diameter then others in the neighborhood. It was also big enough for hosting several families.

However, when we bought the house it perhaps could be called a cozy log cabin stuck in time. We embarked on a huge remodel which entailed gutting the main house. We added a new Great Room with new windows, new fireplace, and new kitchen. Bedrooms were added or expanded. New bathrooms were added. A new mudroom was added. New floors and new radiant heat was put-in. As we began construction, the pandemic hit. Construction was halted several times due to the pandemic. 2020 was truly a year to forget for the history books.

The remodel allowed it to be functional for us. It allows us to host multiple families for weeks of fun in the mountains. It a perfect size, big enough to host multiple families but not a silly-huge where it becomes a waste. The interior and furniture is new and has a modern aesthetic to it while still playing homage to its log roots. Being a tech geek, the technology was all refreshed and new wiring installed everywhere. With the pandemic raging, it was put to the test where we worked remotely for several months and days full of Zoom calls from the mountains.

In the end, the question is always asked - would you do a remodel again or build new? Its a tough question to answer. The result came out great and feels comfortable and modern - those words aren't often in the same sentence.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Their are a couple of obvious unique benefits. The house was gutted and renovated completed in Nov 2020, which means new and clean! All of the bedding was changed, most of the furniture and mattress are new. Most of the appliances are new. The tech and TVs are new. The double house setup in incredibly versatile when it comes to groups and multiple families. Also, most all of the 6BR houses in Mountain Village are ~10,000 sq ft with rental prices to match, this is unique in that its a very livable and approachable size. Many of our spaces are built to flex. Our downstairs den is a perfect example. It can be a TV getaway for the kids when the adults are upstairs. It can be a guy's getaway to watch the big game and enjoy a drink from the bar. It can be a sleeping bedroom when a 6BR is desired without sacrificing comfort. No pull-out couches here! It has a Murphy bed with a mattress quality found in all the other bedrooms.

However, their are some less-than-obvious benefits we've only discovered after living there for some time. Its one of the few houses that have both ski-in access as well as bike-in/bike-out access in the summer. Yep, we bike out to "Tommy-Knocker", which is one of the only green bike trails. Most houses with ski access do not have bike out access. The hiking in the summer has also surprised us. Their are plenty of trails our kids can do right from the back door, yet their are also 15 mile strenuous hiked that can be undertaken if that suites your taste.
