Red Bach Retreat vid havet

Letar du efter en lugn plats dÀr du kan vila och koppla av? Kom och bo i denna knÀppa retromiljö dÀr du kan kÀnna havbrisen i ansiktet, bara nÄgra minuters promenad till stranden. Det Àr 20 minuter söder om Whanganui och 45 minuter nordvÀst om Palmerston North. InbÀddat bland unika anlagda trÀdgÄrdar finns 5 individuella stugor med plats för upp till 10 personer totalt med mÄnga uteserveringar och sittplatser. Vi Àr nÀra barnens lekplats och bara 5 minuters promenad till flodmynningen och havet. Vi har 26 km strand för ridning pÄ fyrhjulingar, motorcyklar, bÄtfiske, contiki-fiske eller surfing. En del av Te Araroa-leden, Turakina Àr en fantastisk promenadstrand med gott om fÄgelliv och drivved. ObegrÀnsat trÄdlöst internet tillhandahÄlls gratis. En barnstol och en portacot finns tillgÀnglig pÄ begÀran utan kostnad. En gasgrill levereras. Vi har en mysig varm eldstad för de vinternÀtter. SÀngklÀder och handdukar tillhandahÄlls inte men kan fÄ en extra avgift pÄ begÀran. Alla sÀngar har toppskydd, kuddar och tÀcken. Det finns tvÄ badrum och duschar. Vi har gott om parkering pÄ baksidan av fastigheten för att skydda alla dina strandleksaker.
Det finns ett mobilt strandhus tillgÀngligt pÄ begÀran om det behövs för extra personer över 10 Är. Vi tillÄter hundar om överenskommits innan en bokning görs. StÀdning Àr tillgÀnglig för $ 50. 00 per vistelse, (Boka tid vid bokningen). Linne Àr tillgÀngligt pÄ begÀran för $ 8. 00 per person per vistelse. Fyll i matvaror innan du kommer frÄn Whanganui, Marton eller Palmerston North eftersom det inte finns nÄgra butiker i byn. Turakina servicestation ligger 8 km ut pÄ huvudvÀgen med bensin, diesel och begrÀnsade livsmedel.

A perfect stay for our business group.

Red bach is such a good set up - separate cosy bedrooms, and cosy, homely shared kitchen living area. It worked so well for our biz group weekend get together. Loved the epic wild beach and estuary, great walks, friendly locals - a weekend wasn't long enough! Terry and Barbara were great to deal with.

Easter Family Get Together

There are 8 adults and 8 children in our family who live in 4 different areas of the North Island. This was a great location for us all to come together. The children absolutely loved the batch and the closeness to the park, fishing and the sea. Very relaxing with enough room and comfortable beds for us all. Barbara the host was friendly and helpful. A great quirky place to chill, read a book and have fun.

Spacious, quirky, comfy

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens really enjoyed Redbach Retreat. So much space - and the teens loved each having their own cabin! The kitchen(s) had everything we needed for cooking, and we enjoyed sampling some board games from the massive stash of games and books. The beds were okay in terms of comfort (not hotel-grade mattresses, but fine for a bach). We were able to leave our little dog at the bach when we were going out for the day - she was happy to relax in the large, safely enclosed garden. The only downside was that the beach at Koitiata was difficult to access. There is a river that seperates the houses from the beach and you had to wade across to get to the sea. It's a pleasant 20 to 30 minute drive to the town of Whanganui, which is lovey to visit. Nice to have outings to the town and surrounds, but also great to just chill at the bach. Great spot for some quality family time.

This beautiful family and pet orientated gem is most definitely worth the stay. The Hosts are very accommodating and friendly to deal with. Perfect Holiday Retreat

What an amazing placeRed Bach Retreat by the sea is. The hosts Barbara and Terry were incredibly accomodating and friendly. We loved our time there- it is perfect for a family group as we all had our own space but also a shared space were we get get together to mix and mingle. Great space for whānau...

Really enjoyed our stay. Didn't expect for there to be the amount of spaces available for everyone. Toy House was a great addition for our tamariki. Adults played with the puzzles and read some books. Would recommend for big groups and we look forward to returning soon. Even better that we could take our kurī along with us.

Red Bach Retreat was Red Bach Gallery for a number of years selling our hand made copper sculptures. Due to injury we closed the gallery and are now running Writers Retreats, Sculpture Workshops, and I have written a book and made a series of sculptures for the last 6 years called The Secret Keeper. Have a look on Facebook thesecretkeepernz. We also provide a place for tutors to run there own workshops with on site accommodation. We have also opened it up for people to come and relax and have some time out in a restful environment to get away from their busy lifestyles. Come, visit and enjoy your stay with us.
