Honeoye Lake Front Cottage

Ligger på den lugna västra sidan av Honeoye Lake, bara 1. 1 miles från staden Honeoye, denna uppdaterade 2 sovrum 1. 5 bad stuga är ny för hyra program. Ett stort däck med utsikt över sjön och är en utmärkt plats för avkoppling och grillning middag. En lång 200 meter gräsbevuxen bakgård sluttar ner till 50 meter privat sjö, sjö och brygga. Bokningar är lördag till lördag i juli och augusti. Kortare vistelser är förhandlingsbara under säsongen.

Den första våningen i stugan har ett fullt utrustat kök med kylskåp, mikrovågsugn, gasspis, brödrost och kaffebryggare. Det är öppet till matsalen med plats för 6 och vardagsrum med storbilds-TV. Det stora sovrummet med en dubbelsäng och vägg-TV har en bifogad halv bad. En första våningen badrum med dusch finns också en tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Skjutdörrar från sovrummet och matplats öppna direkt till en expansiv däck med utsikt över sjön och Bristol Hills utanför. På övervåningen finns 2 enkelsängar och en platt-TV. Gratis trådlöst nätverk. Små husdjur kan tillåtas.

Detta avskilda hem är bekvämt att Canandaigua, Neapel och Geneseo med bara en kort 45 minuters bilresa till Rochester. Honeoye har en fullständig livsmedelsbutik, bank / ATM, Dollar Store, bensinstation och restauranger. Det finns en park i norra änden av sjön med en strand och picknickbord. Offentliga sjösättning ligger på SE slutet av sjön.

Nice stay in the Finger Lakes

We enjoyed the lakefront property. Kayaks provided! The cottage was our base for exploring the area. Found several waterfalls and fun lunch places in the area. The decor in the cottage is a bit dated, but it provided everything we needed at a good price. We were very pleased.

Lovely cottage. Everything was clean and comfortable and loved the little decorative touches. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and the view. Very peaceful until neighbors moved in next door on Thursday and were very loud with a barking dog. (Not the hosts fault). I wished I had brought camp chairs though to sit down by the lake.

Comfortable lake cottage

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cooks Nok. It was very clean and comfortable. Great location to the the many different Finger Lake wineries and small towns. Just know it is a steep path down to the lake.

Honeoye Weekend Escape

Very cute lake. Location was perfect. Lake is a little shallow so we didn’t bring jetskis but rented pontoon boat. There is only one marina but prices are reasonable and owner was soooo nice. This cottage was very nice. We deeply appreciate the hospitality of the owners of the cottage and the little nook!!! Be aware that the porch light attracts bugs if you go out for dinner.

Relaxing Getaway

Relaxing little cottage, had a bit of a pet smell when I first arrived (and was 78 degrees inside). But once I got it air moving and the place opened up, smell went away. Only a wall A/C unit but plenty of fans (one on floor, lots of ceiling fans). Very comfy bed and living room chairs! Fully functional kitchen. Lake is very calm and quiet. Had a great stay. Check out Deer Run Winery (and Distillery) not too far away for a fun time!

Peaceful paradise

We have stayed at this cottage for 4 years now. It is always clean and well decorated. We love sitting on the deck. We go kayaking on Canadice lake. We are not much for swimming. We love driving the back roads to all the wineries. For those who want yo use the lake there is a pretty big hill but it was not an issue for us 65 plusers who are active. The owners are lovely people and I hope they will continue to allow us to stay.

Wonderful two weeks at the lake

My husband and I were most impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of this cottage. The bedroom was wonderful and the combination of fans and bedroom AC kept us comfortable even during the 90+ days! The kitchen is VERY well equipped, including lots of leftover containers which often are lacking. We enjoyed the deck after the sun moved to the west and made good use of the kayaks. The view is incredible from all the windows. The location is convenient to all the finger lakes have to offer. The only downside is the very steep walk on grass to the water. The stairs at the lower end help a great deal and we used the opportunity of going up and down to get in our steps and exercise but it's not an easy climb back up! Overall, we throughly enjoyed living here for two weeks and enjoying Honeoye Lake.

Very nice cottage on a beautiful lake!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at "Cooks Nook". It is a very cute and well maintained cottage.The master bedroom has a wonderful view overlooking the lake. It was beautiful to wake up every morning looking at the water. It also has its own private 1/2 bath attached. The upstairs is spacious and has two beds. The deck is amazing and it is perfect to sit out and relax on while you soak up the summer breeze! Our group (4 adults) brought two 17 ft fishing boats and the dock that comes with the cottage handled them perfectly. The boat launch is just a couple miles south of the cottage and is a short drive to get to the camp. Also, directly across the cottage there is a bar/restaurant attatched to Trident Marina called "The Boathouse". It offers very good drinks and food. Overall our experience here was fantastic and my wife and I are looking forward to staying here again!

The cottage is very clean. The weather was cold a few days but we still managed to Kayak on Csnadice lake. We are laid back and just like to walk and relax. If you want to swim, rent a pontoon because there is often algae in shore snd you have to go to the middle to swim. Or get a small eubber boat so you can get further out . There are a few pizza places and 2 restsurants. Other places to visit are within a half hour. I love Naples. Hammondsport and Honeyeo falls. Judy and Don are wonderful hosts.

Home was lovely, better than pics! Deck is fabulous, great view from house/deck/bedroom. Reminder that the upstairs bedroom (two twins) doesn’t have a door to the stairs so sound from the LR travels.The walk to the water is steep but not as bad as feared. You will want water shoes if you’re getting in the lake (which you should do, you just need to get a bit away from shore to get away from the weeds - consider renting a boat from Trident Marine). Kitchen is well equipped. Owners are very nice and responsive.Would stay again!!

Such a wonderful home very clean and the view of the lake is so beautiful. The fishing was excellent and having the kayaks and the dock was a very good amenity. Very cute little town nice and quiet area even the neighbors are super nice.

Comfy lakefront cottage

This is a comfortable, clean and extremely well outfitted cottage. What a plus that it was pet-friendly; our dog enjoyed it too. There is a long deck along the back of the house, including off the bedroom. From there we saw some lovely sunrises over beautiful Honeoye Lake and we enjoyed the two available kayaks. The town of Honeoye is just a mile away—and there are several tasty restaurants (Birdhouse Brewery, Mill Creek Cafe) and Canandaigua is an easy 20-minute drive. We also appreciated having use of the washer and dryer.

Rainy Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at Cook's Nook! The weather wasn't the best but we made the most of our trip. The house was great for the two of us and our dog, everything was as described and was perfect for our needs. We made breakfast every morning in the house and we spent the days exploring the region. The location of the house was nice as we were under an hour from everywhere we wanted to check out. We definitely recommend staying here and will try to be back ourselves soon!

Lake house vacation

My son (13) and I stayed a week at cooks nook and loved it. My son LOVES to fish and was eager to go out in the kayaks each day to fish. We went to hemlock lake and mendon ponds as well. The house is wonderful and dinner on the deck each night was amazing. We walked to sandy bottom to hike and walked to town for icecream. Was a great get away for the two of us between work and crazy sport schedules! Very quiet area and an adorable house that had everything we needed! Thank you for such a great week!

Vacation stay

Wonderful, clean and comfortable property. Steep walk to and from dock, but not unmanageable for me. Nearby to park and nature trail. Town and amenities also close by. Quiet and restful stay.

Great booking!

We had a fantastic time at Cook’s Nook! Everything was very clean and organized upon arrival and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The hill down to the lake was a bit steep going back up and might be a challenge for someone with any type of knee or back issues. Had fun catching some fish off the dock. Would definitely stay again in the future!
