We were impressed with the property upon arrival. The house is exactly as the photo’s indicated. Heating is more than adequate and the log fires softend the ambiance. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms with their high ceilings are impressive. It was very clean and whilst out of town was a great location to explore the fantastic wine region.

Can not rate Mattschoss highly enough. It was perfect for a winter getaway in the Barossa. Gorgeous house, spotless and with everything we needed. Comfy beds and cosy heating. On the return to list.

House is great. So much space. Obviously invested in good heating system and loved the underfloor heating in bathroom. Quality bedding and comfortable beds and pillows (even better than my own and I often travel with own pillow!).

Excellent stay in Barossa

Lovely well appointed home. Everything you need for a lovely stay. Road noise was a minor annoyance. We would stay there again in a heart beat.

Beautiful property

Fantastic location, beautiful property for a group of friends. Was incredibly hot whilst we were there but were treated with a blissfully cool house, thank you! We had a fabulous time only 5 to 10 min drive from everything. Great communication from Katelin and great recommendations for dinners!

Fabulous location

What a beautiful house to base ourselves in for a week in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Centrally located within 10 minutes of Angaston, Tanunda and Nuriootpa it’s perfect to explore all the area has to offer. A thoughtful renovation with great amenities and a delightful garden to enjoy a glass of wine in (an outdoor table would be a bonus). Loved our stay here and highly recommend.

Beautiful inside and out!

We used this house before our wedding day, with the girls using it for prep photos. We were all impressed with the size and beauty, the house was so well presented and gardens immaculate. Would love to visit again when we have more time to spend there!

Amazing property in perfect Barossa location

We had the most amazing time at this beautiful Barossa property. The house was pristine, the styling absolutely gorgeous and the gardens just stunning. The house included all the amenities you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is absolutely perfect as a starting place for visiting all the fabulous wineries the region has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to visit the Barossa and book this house again.

Relaxing getaway with convenient location

The old half of the house (bedrooms and sitting room) is airy with great character and nice modern furnishings. We slept very well. The newer half is clean and functional, easy to make meals etc. Pool table is an excellent addition. Lovely garden and outdoors spaces too. I get the feeling this place is still being set up in a few ways - many blank walls inside asking for something to be hung; no outdoors table despite a paved outdoors space; sitting room is too big for what is in the room so far. BUT these don't detract from the enjoyment on the property. It is close to the road, and traffic is loud going past at 80kph, but the traffic is very low (a few cars per hr in the daytime).
