Thanksgiving in Blue Eye

The perfect place to stay to celebrate holidays with family nearby! It was a cozy place and perfect for my family with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We had everything we needed and felt right at home!

It was a good stay.

The inside of the condo was clean and welcoming. The entry way was filled with lawn debri and bird droppings, making it hard to not track inside. We ended up washing the front porch down. The only downfall, was that we were informed the pool was never opened this year. That was one of the reasons we boooked this condo was for the pool and felt like that should have been disclosed on the listing. But let me be clear, i did not complain about it, and did enjoy my stay. I just had a disappointed little girl.i did

Quiet Condo

The grounds were gorgeous in this quiet little getaway. The space was perfect for me, my wife and daughter. Also had a sleeper sofa and 2 inflatable twin beds if needed. Las Casitas, the Mexican food restaurant on the property, was incredible with a phenomenal staff.

Nice condo in quiet location

We spent four nights here while visiting family in the area. Condo was clean and stocked with the basics. My one problem got a quick response, even late at night. The wifi signal was great and worked well while we were there. I recommend this unit and would stay again.

Peaceful place

Cute condo- worked for our family of 5- if you want to be super close to things, this is not the place for you. But if you want peace and quiet and the beauty of nature, this is for you. Branson entertainment and restaurants is about half hour away. We visited Dogwood Canyon close by. Wonderful experience. Thankful for this hidden gem. It was a nice weekend!

Was advertised as a "pet friendly" rental

We rented this place so we could take our dogs with us for the weekend and hike. The next morning a very rude man in apartment 204 informed my husband that "no dogs over 25lbs are allowed" and proceeded to follow him and take pictures of him walking our 55lb dog. No where in the listing did it say that. We asked others people who live there year round if it was true. They said no one inforces the rule (so I don't feel like we were lied to. Just made us uncomfortable all weekend we were doing something wrong). The only other complaint we had was it said all the ameneties on the grounds and literally NONE were open. It was a ghost town! SO we had to drive to do anything at all.

The Best stay I've ever rented

Really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was very clean, comfortable and inviting. Enjoyed looking around in the general store and Grace Chapel. We were invited to sit in the live audience for the taping of one of Jim Bakkers programs, but we got a late start and didn't get to. Thank you for allowing me to bring my 3 dogs and the nice doggie park next to it. A very peaceful and relaxing stay. Thank you for all of your Blessings that you had given us! Geri A.

Very nice condo

We were there for the Garth Brooks concerts and the condo was the perfect spot for 2 women. It’s conveniently located near the new Thunder Ridge Nature Arena, Top of the Rock & Dogwood Canyon. The size was perfect for us, too. 2 bathrooms was really nice. We had everything we needed for a comfortable 3 night stay. Our unit was very clean & quiet.

Clean & quiet stay

The condo was exceptional. Clean & felt like home. The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch upon check-in. Only issue was location & cleanliness of pool. Not easily accessible & very small. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay & highly recommend.

Stay in Blue Eye

The condo was great. It was what was described in the information. The area was pet friendly and areas to walk your dog. The location is good if you want to do other things besides just the Branson strip. You are close to Dogwood Canyon and I would recommend it and it is pet friendly.

Odd vibes

This is the place where the Jimmy Bakker show is recorded. I learned he is not the preacher there, just runs the place. People there still hold him in high regard, despite having a 45 year prison sentence placed on him (only served 8). The whole place had a weird vibe to it. Two limousines and a helicopter pad. Shuffle board, but no access to the equipment over the holiday weekend. The pictures made the dwelling place seem much larger that way it was. It had over 20 pics for a two bedroom, common area, and a kitchen. I thought we had really scored per the pics, but like everything in Jim Bakker town it was more of a façade. Bell tower was fake and in need of repair. The pool wasn’t open for Memorial Day weekend either. Just to get to the pool meant driving a mile away. The dog park made our dogs very itchy catching fleas and ticks. A week and half later we finally saw our last flea. The first bath our dog had over 50 fleas and several ticks. Not returning.

Surprisingly very nice and comfortable!

I was a little hesitant about the property after reading about it, but we stayed here for two weeks and had a great time. The property was clean and had everything you needed. It is a bit of a drive to Branson (25-30 minutes) but it’s only a 15 minute drive to big cedar or dogwood canyon. Everyone we spoke to on the property rounds were nice and respectful. We didn’t have anyone bother us the entire time we were there. Overall we can’t complain and appreciated the hospitality.

Great Getway

Very nice stay. Close to Dogwood Canyon for a wedding which is what brought us here. The condo was very clean and worked out well for us. Would highly recommend. Beautiful country.
