Kaka point

Loved the wood burner so cosy, amazing to see up close the wildlife in the area, sea lions, seals. Birdlife amazing. Friendly locals. Wonderful views. Private and quiet excellent beds.

Warm, peaceful, fabulous location!

Traveling for 3 months in NZ... only here 2 nights but wished we had more time! Steph was quick to answer any questions/concerns promptly. Location is close/walking distance to town with a great restaurant! Surrounded by bush and beautiful bird calls. Bach was clean and cozy with a warm fireplace to add to the ambiance!We found spices/seasonings above the fridge the day we left... not sure if it was okay for us to use but I never contacted host as some properties do provide essential cooking basics while others do not. Either way I would come back here for sure!

So comfortable stay

We really loved the beds and the comfortable sofas. So enjoyed the deck and outside furniture. The bird life was all around us. The beach walk down below was stunning. Spotlessly clean. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you!

Girls catch up

We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the fire. Everything was lovely and clean. Handy to the beach. Great communication. Loved hearing all the birdsong in the morning. Hope to come again.

Quiet and restful

Propery was comfortable and very clean. Good base to get out and about to explore the coastline then come home and relax at the end of the day. Great Kitchen and bathroom and super comfortable bed. Great deck to relax on in the sunshine. Would stay again

Everything as listed with excellent communication

Our third trip to the Catlins but first for friends. Steph was fantastic with communication from booking through to stay. House was very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. Easy walk to the pub, beach and the local bush walk. Highly recommend.

The location is close to the beach and town centre. Check-in instructions were very clear. Great place for a family to stay in Kaka point.

Amazing place and views

Lovely home

We loved our stay - the fire and heatpump ensured we weren't cold. There was plenty of room and a kitchen that had everything we needed. Great location too!

Nice Haven near Nugget Point

This property was well equipped. The main bedroom was fine but the bed in the second bedroom probably needs replacing. Nice and close to Nugget Point. Warm and clean and tidy.

Family get-together

A group of seven older siblings and partners enjoyed the space, the substantial deck, and outdoor furniture. Bush surround was very attractive plus the view. Excellent kitchen. Stairs to bottom floor too steep for some of our group. A very enjoyable 3 days.

Summer break

We had a lovely stay, great outdoor living area with sea views, bush and bird song. Close to the beach but still nice and private, Great kitchen and comfy beds, absolutely recommend.

Well equipped bach for a relaxing stay.

Very clean, well equipped and comfortable bach. We were really happy to base ourselves here for exploring The Catlins. Would recommend to friends and family.
