We loved our stay! Ski valet was great and worked well for our group. We utilized the shuttle service often. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Will definitely return.

Great spot for family ski trip

We enjoyed our stay at the Westgate very much. Only thing that could have been better is the view from our unit was not nearly as nice as those across the hall. Otherwise, great!

Great summer vacation

Nice room, enough for 2 families and bonus room for a family of 4. Great location in Canyons village near all the action. Westgate has great amenities (pools, shuttle, helpful staff). Am wondering whether daily room cleaning is an option?

First time in a Vrbo (3/1-35/24)

The suites were clean, as pictured and there was plenty of room. The resort was spotless and well maintained and the property/area was beautiful. Most of the resort staff were so polite and helpful (except the front desk woman), but, the resort was confusing to navigate having so many levels. The shuttle service is AMAZING. We took advantage of the complimentary ski valet and lockers/boot dryers. It is a short walk to the slopes on property from the resort. The large indoor/outdoor pool area was nice and had two small outdoor hot tubs. The robes/slippers in room were a nice touch. Vrbo management did reply to our 2 text requests/questions timely, though they were unable to assist (hard bed/no mattress topper & TVs not working). The in-suite laundry was great. There is onsite shopping and dining. Where there can be improvement: the comforter was dirty and there were low quality and limited kitchen supplies, & no extra blankets. If you are interested in activities other than dinning, skiing or swimming - they are all offsite (ice skating, snow mobile, etc.). Overall I would rate it 4/5 stars. If the bed/supplies were corrected I would then say it could be 5/5. I did find it pricey for what it was (and compared to other nearby resorts) but the shuttle service may have evened that out (not sure it’s offered at other places or at the quality)...I wrote a very detailed review up but this text box limits characters so I have highlighted what I thought was most important...

Great spot in Canyons Village

Great property, perfect location, and access to all the resort amenities. Just the right amount of space for 2 couples to get away without arguing over who gets the king bed. Pros: Right in the village, so an easy walk to restaurants, and lifts. Hot tubs, pools, valet parking, ski valet to bring your gear right to the gondola, are just a few of the nice touches. They stock the unit for a long weekend with paper towels, laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, and dishwasher detergent. Service was very friendly, and the property management team was responsive to a couple issues we had. Cons: Either it was the altitude or a reality that the TV is difficult to operate. The internet is through the resort and the unit does not have its own internet. So, if you want to watch a movie through the smart tv after a day on the slopes, you need to set up a hotspot and rig it that way. Otherwise bring DVDs if you somehow still carry them. Not for a lack of trying, one of the steam showers was inoperable our whole stay. Was really hoping to get a chance to enjoy that. At least management tried to fix it. Just have to go downstairs and use the steam room at the pool... Neither a pro nor con, but lots of people complaining about navigating the resort. Do yourself a favor and spend some time exploring. There are enough entrances and exits to wrap your head around the fact that the building is constructed into a mountainside. Sometimes it makes more sense to go outside to get to another area.

Great stay

We stayed the beginning of July. The weather was perfect and there was a 4th of July celebration with live music, a drone show and fireworks. We would definitely return to this property!

Christmas Ski Trip

This property had a great location with super accessibility to everything need for our Christmas Ski Vacation! It was very comfortable with plenty of space. Loved the sauna in the showers! The ski valet service and resort shuttle were amazing and so easy to use. Property could definitely use some updating!

This place was perfect for us. We had a 5 yo taking snowboard lessons so the proximity, ease of getting and storing snowboard and gear with their onsite locker and valet service was incredible! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Better Than Expected!

Three of us stayed at this property for a Girl’ Weekend, and it did not disappoint. The rooms were larger than I expected, the beds were comfortable, and the steam shower was amazing! I worried based on the pre-check-in email that there would be very little in the kitchen because it said there was a charge for things like a spatula or extra towels. I figured at one point the units were fully stocked but that they’d been stolen, and I didn’t know what to expect. The kitchen seemed to be fully stocked, and we didn’t need anything we couldn’t find. The Westgate Property is huge, and I didn’t realize how many services and amenities were close by. Restaurants, other hotels, and some small shops are within walking distance. The only problem with the location was the Wi-Fi and phone signals. Sometimes they’d work, other times they wouldn’t. The tv and DVD player didn’t seem to be connected to wi-fi. When I attempted to connect them, I got a message that I had to contact the provider. Needless to say, we didn’t end up using the TVs and couldn’t stream from my Prime, Disney+ or other accounts. Instructions might help. The staff at check-in, valet, and throughout the hotel had great customer service. There were towels available poolside, and we didn’t need to bring one from the room. When you book this property, there is what I can only describe as a personal concierge service. Someone texted me frequently to make sure I had received everything, to answer any questions, and even to contact Westgate to make sure I had the most updated information. Responses were received quickly and professionally when I asked them. It was fantastic! The only other thing I would mention is that we did end up having to ask about some maintenance items. I didn’t want to be charged for broken things after Westgate charged a $200 refundable security deposit. There were broken door handles, the vanity mirror was coming unscrewed from the wall, and the kitchen sinks dripped or wouldn’t turn off in both kitchens in both units. Hopefully maintenance fixed the issues after we left, but both units might benefit from a maintenance walk-through to identify repairs. I forgot to report that the doors were so squeaky when they were opened , that if anyone opened a door, we could all hear it. The positives definitely outweighed any problems we ran into. The cost was affordable, and I would highly recommend booking this property.
