Thank you for your review. We're happy the kitchen had what you needed and that you enjoyed your stay. We hope to host you again!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the beautiful view and the property's convenient location near so many of Hilton Head's attractions. We're disappointed to hear that the cleanliness and maintenance did not meet your expectations. We did not receive any communication regarding these concerns during your stay, and had we been made aware, our team would have been happy to inspect the property and address anything requiring immediate attention. As a pet-friendly property that experiences significant use throughout the busy summer season, more extensive deep cleaning and seasonal maintenance are scheduled following peak season in addition to the regular cleaning completed between guests. We appreciate your feedback and will ensure your comments are included as those items are addressed. Thank you for choosing Island Rentals of Hilton Head. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience on a future visit.

Thanks for the great review! Glad the house was clean and comfortable for your group and that the nearby bike path, Lawton Stables, and Nature Preserve were convenient. Happy the short drives to the beach, Harbor Town, and the Shops at Sea Pines worked well, and that the kitchen, linens, and towels had what you needed. We’d love to host you again.

Thank you for staying at 55 Lawton Rd. and for your 4‑star review. I’m glad the home was functional for your family, the second refrigerator was useful, and the location made getting to Lawton Stables, the beach, and Sea Pines convenient. It’s good to hear the dog‑friendly policy and the early arrival option worked well for you. We hope to host you again.

Thank you for your review, Heather! It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the central location and the amenities we provide. We hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Sea Pines!

Thanks for your review, Jeanne! We love hearing that our guests enjoyed their home and their time on the island! We certainly hope you come back and rent with us again!

Thank you for your review, Hayden! So glad we could provide a space away from the chaos of home renovation. We're here if you need us again!

Thank you for your review, Matthew. We're glad you enjoyed the location and found the included bikes convenient. We appreciate your feedback on the home’s updates and hope to welcome you back for another stay in the future.

Thank you for your review. We were glad the beds, couch, location, and complimentary bikes were useful and that you enjoyed fishing nearby. I’m sorry the kitchen and bathrooms felt dated, the showers didn’t drain well, and you found cobwebs and an HVAC filter issue. We’ll share these specifics with the owner, housekeeping, and maintenance so drains, cleaning, and necessary updates are addressed. We appreciate the feedback and regret this stay didn’t meet your expectations.

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience! I do hope you called us when you experienced the smell. We hope you'll consider renting through us on your next trip.

There is no mention of pool access for this home in either the listing or in your correspondence. Unfortunately, we cannot control if you make assumptions about pool access when it was never listed as an amenity.

Please contact us regarding these issues, we take guest dissatisfaction seriously and would like to speak to you about your concerns.

All new exterior lighting was installed in July in the front and back of home, there's also a lamp post light in the yard by the driveway and walkway (switches are located in the entryway of the home), because it gets so dark at night solar path lights were added as an extra measure of precaution. There are restrictions in Sea Pines with how much exterior lighting you can have and when it's on. The property is not advertised as having a Keurig coffee maker, however the kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances and utensils, all new within the last two years. Hilton Head experienced heavier rain and less sunny days in September and is also hurricane season, this type of weather unfortunately allows for algae to develop. The owners were contacted promptly after receiving a call with concern about the green algae buildup on the home's exterior and they immediately agreed to have it addressed to ensure a more enjoyable experience for you as a guest. Bedroom lights have individual remotes to control optional settings for adjusting the fan speed and brightness of light, living room and dining area lights are on the same switch and also have a dimmer to adjust brightness, all other overhead fixtures are clear glass globe lights. All light fixtures and lamps throughout the home are operated with LED bulbs. Bikes are complementary and an added perk for our guests, they are supplied by South Beach Bike Rental. Information about reporting an issue with a bike, or if you would like to rent additional equipment, is located in the guest welcome packet inside the home. South Beach Bike Rental is conveniently located within Sea Pines, they will take great care of you and address any issues quickly once notified.
