Welcome to the beach!!  This charming beach cottage is located within walking distance of the beach and intracoastal waterway. Located minutes from Vilano Beach & historic St. Augustine. Ponte Vedra Beach & the city of Jacksonville are a short drive. Property features an open and bright floor plan with lots of windows, high ceilings and upgrades throughout the home. The living room has wood style flooring, ceiling fan with light and LCD TV.  The kitchen is open to the living and dining area and features a breakfast bar that seats 3, Edison pendant lighting, granite counter tops, SS appliances, convection oven, Keurig coffee maker & pantry closet. Dining area features Edison pendant lighting, seating for 6. Split bedroom floor plan. The master bedroom is located off of the kitchen and features a king size bed, LCD TV, ceiling fan with light and a standard size closet. En-suite master bathroom has a single oversized vanity with his & her sinks, granite counter tops and a tiled walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms are located off the hallway on the opposite end of the kitchen. The first guest bedroom has a queen sized bed, ceiling fan with light, LCD TV and standard sized closet. The second guest bedroom has a queen sized bed, ceiling fan with light and a standard sized closet.  The guest bathroom has a single vanity with granite countertops and a walk-in tiled shower. Fully fenced in private backyard features an outdoor shower, dining area with seating for 4, plus seating on the covered back porch. One car garage, plus additional parking in the long driveway. Located within walking distance of Caps on the Water- one of the best restaurants around. Take the Palm hammock walkway down to the intracoastal for dinner & cocktails at Caps. Bring your furry friends along. This property is pet friendly with owner approval, non refundable pet fee & refundable pet deposit. offered as a furnished vacation rental. Weekly & Monthly rates available per season. $75 electric fee per month. All other utilities included. Rates are subject to change for holidays and special events.

Charming and convenient

The house was absolutely perfect for my stay. It is beautifully appointed. It was convenient to everything, including beaches, restaurants and St augustine. At the same time, it was out of the hustle and bustle. The neighborhood is charming and very walkable. I highly recommend this property.

A mixed bag

This is a lovely property. It is generally clean and well kept, but an extremely unsanitary condition was encountered. We dealt with the issue, and the cleaning fee was refunded. The property is managed by a firm, and $620.25 in fees (47% of base price) were added for a 7 day stay (EXCLUDING tax and VRBO fee). I agreed to this due to expediency and location. In hindsight I feel the management firm and their fees are set up for long-term rentals. The bigger problem experienced is poor communication of what the house contained, guest expectations and the addition of petty charges spelled out just before arrival – i.e. $50 PER CLOSET if they need to be reorganized. If you leave the place in a disorderly/dirty fashion, there should be consequences but they should be listed up front. Getting all the “requirements” at the last minute made it hard to enjoy our stay for fear of added penalties. Provisioning was sparse - included half rolls of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels, but NO hand soap (a hygienic necessity). The place settings, cookware and gadgetry were adequate and acceptable, but there wasn’t even salt and pepper. Every VRBO is set up differently, but it would be nice to know this up front so items could be brought from home. The management firm appears to be honorable, but as my two least satisfactory VRBO experiences were with managed properties, I will not rent with one again. This is likely a fine place for long term use, just ask lots of questions beforehand.
