Good value

Good value for downtown Saugatuck. Very walkable and nice living room and kitchen. The beds are a bit lacking in comfort, but they get the job done. Easy check in and check out.

Great location

We arrived to find that the apartment had not been cleaned. When contacting the owner, he sent someone over right away. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Saugatuk. A parking place is provided which is great because parking is an issue. Our only issue was operating the TV. No instructions were provided so if you aren’t familiar with YouTube TV operating within Apple, you should read up ahead of time. Overall it was a great stay.

Booked condo in Saugatuck, Michigan.

Condo was very nice. Big living room. Two bedrooms full kitchen. Very clean. Condo was located right in the little town so everything was within walking distance shops, restaurants, Beach. My wife and I had a very enjoyable visit in the town and were within 10-15 minutes of everything we wanted to see.

Good stay for the price point

Great location. The beds need a little more TLC and weren’t the most comfy. Overall good experience. My wife left a $400 hair dryer there so the next visitors will be lucky!!!!!

Excellent location

Great location with restaurants, a park, and the boardwalk right outside the front door. The property is exactly as listed. Plenty of space for our family of five. The only downside was the lack of AC in the second bedroom upstairs.

Short getaway

The property was okay. It was clean enough. The second bedroom did not have air-conditioning and was pretty hot. The location was the best part. So close to all the shops. I would find another condo next time.

Great location and nice and big condo! However, it wasn't the cleanest. Didn't look like a professional clean job- hairs in the bathroom, baseboards really dusty. The air conditioner doesn't work too well either, the second bedroom is pretty stuffy. The kitchen should be better stocked-no spatulas, only a set of 4 dished.

Awesome place to stay

This was a great place to stay! Very clean and overall happy with our stay here. My daughters loved it, we stayed for a weekend while in town for a softball tournament and they thought it was such a neat place. Overall a great place and the listing was accurate. We also loved Saugatuck and were able to get out a shop. The one thing I would say is the parking wasn't listed very clearly, we had to reach out due to it stating "204" and it only said "4" so I would maybe try to change this in the directions sent to the renters. Otherwise it was very clear and easy. Thank you!

Spring in Saugy

Saugatauck was just coming awake and alive for the season. This location was great for our purpose for being there. Very convenient to downtown, restaurants, lake view and park. Spacious enough for us to enjoy our son and daughter visiting for one night. We will be back.

Great location

Location was perfect and condo was nice and clean...I woul have rated it higher but no curtain in second bedroom and no ac unit for this room. Also bugs were noticed in the freezer and insufficient toilet paper during stay.

This is the message we sent to the owner when checking out: We have just checked out of the unit and wanted to bring some things to your attention. The location of the property was great. We never had to use our car the entire time we were here. However, we were not satisfied with the quality of the unit. Items that were already broken: First floor toilet seat. One of the anchors was broken. First floor window blinds did not function. We were unable to get the slats open and let in light. Also several of the slats were previously repaired using tape / clips 2nd bedroom was pretty much uninhabitable: There was no AC in the room and no blinds on the window. So the room was very hot day / night. I planned on using this room to sleep, but instead slept on the sofa downstairs. The room was not very clean. There was white dog hair covering the comforter and floor. We had to wash the comforter, and sweep the floor, to get rid of the hair. I am very allergic to pet hair. Had we known there was no AC in this room we would not have booked this property. Balcony was not clean and was unusable: There was dirty standing water and an old towel sitting on the floor. Plus the ledge had a layer dirt on it.

Condo near Saugatuck

Location, location, location. That was the best thing about this condo. It is just blocks from town and has a nice view of the water and bridge to Douglas. The condo is cute but could use a little TLC. The vertical blinds in the living room have quite a few missing slats and need to be replaced and it would be helpful to have a guide to using the 3 different remotes for the TV. We did finally figure it out. The King bedroom was nice however the Carrier AC unit went out and we came home to water all over the floor. The second bedroom was OK but there is no space to put your clothes as it is being used more as a utility room. The closet is full with a stack washer/dryer and cleaning supplies. The person in that room hung a few things in our closet but pretty much lived out of their suitcase while there. Having two full bathrooms was great and the downstairs shower had amazing water pressure. When the AC went out we slept on the futon and sofa downstairs. We made it work but neither was very comfortable. Overall we had a great trip, enjoyed and all of the shops and restaurants close to this property.

Cleanliness and location were the 2 great attributes. Lack of so many things were annoying: AC-no screens to open windows due to no ac in queen room no curtainsin queen room-poor drainage in shower-no towel hooks-no drawers for clothes storage-no tv directions.

Mixed Feelings

The apartment we stayed in for 5 days was very clean and excellently located within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops that Saugutuck offers! We were also pleased that the apartment had 2 full bathrooms and a washer/dryer, as well as a parking spot conveniently located. With that being said, there were a few aspects of the apartment that were not appealing for a vacation rental. The wall in the living room appeared to have just been repaired and patched but never painted. The blinds in the living room are also missing several slats.The spare bedroom can become very warm with only a little fan and could use some blinds or curtains for the window. Just a few touches could elevate the apartment to a new level.
