The Grand Lodge Hotel is located on Crested Butte Mountain in the heart of the base area. Walking distance to the slopes, shops, and main transit center. Amenities for the complex include an indoor/outdoor heated pool, hot tub, steam room, fitness center, and in-house restaurant. Crested Butte Lodging & Property Management, Inc. provides free parking and wifi.

This hotel suite layout creates two spaces with the king bed upon entering the suite and a living room/kitchenette area with a sleeper sofa for additional arrangements. The kitchenette features a small refrigerator, single burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, and your basic utensils for cooking and eating. This room is also fully ADA-compliant.

The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. Summer schedule runs every 20 minutes; winter schedule runs every 15 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes.

Crested Butte Lodging & Property Management provides the basic comforts of home. Upon your arrival, you’ll find that we supply all linens, towels, and paper goods. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, starter shower kits, coffee packets with powder creamer and sugar, kitchen towels, dish sponges, dish soap, and dish detergent. If you would like to arrange housekeeping services during your stay, please contact our office to schedule for a modest fee.

The condo was great! It was very clean, comfortable and I love how it was decorated. We have stayed at the Grand Lodge many times and was disappointed the front desk is gone. Seems less inviting. Only other complaint is that the jets on the hot tub didn’t work.

Nice enough room, but quite a booking experience

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I travel frequently and have never had a booking experience quite like this. I booked a room through Travelocity, and then started getting emails from VRBO. Which then I had to create a log in for, even though I supposedly booked through a different entity. After booking, I received messages via VRBO as well as emails and text messages from the property management company. Each email/text had breadcrumbs of information - no one email or text gave all the information I actually needed- I had to literally piece together where I was going/staying, the room number, code, etc. Upon arrival we learned from the front desk that the room is independently managed from the hotel and that they could not help with any information about the room- again, strange. After leaving, this review request came from yet ANOTHER company. I'm still confused who this room was actually rented through. Which is also probably why it cost an arm and a leg. The room itself was nice enough - we didn't spend much time there, just needed somewhere to sleep for the night. We did appreciate the comfortable bed, coffee maker with REAL coffee, and cute sitting room. We did have a glitch at checkout when we forgot some items in the room. We were locked out of the keypad exactly at 10am, and when we asked help from housekeeping who was in the hall, they acted like the room was haunted and promptly said they couldn't do anything. I was able to get in touch with property management via one of the emails/texts that left a contact number. She was very nice and helpful and got us back in to retrieve our forgotten items. Overall, a nice experience, but definitely an experience.

Good location. Room was shabby - needs to be updated. Carpets could be cleaned. Fridge didn't work, door lock was missing from slider, tub took forever to drain, TV remote did not work.

Perfect spot for a two day ski trip

Last minute strip to CB. Price was reasonable. Super close to lifts and a very nice property. Room exactly as advertised. Very comfortable. No complaints

I was misled about the location. the access road was in very poor condition and 200 miles from the ski resort. I do not recommend it for people who want to go to Aspen, for this price you can find very nice apartments with a pool and 10 miles from the ski area.

Great option for a couple looking to get in some great skiing

This was a nice room, very close to the slopes and right next door to town shuttles. We had a few issues with customer service with the resort itself but nothing that would prevent us from returning. We had three people in our room and it was a little tight but it would be perfect for a couple.

It’s ok.

Close to the mountain, check in and out was easy and the property is nice, but if you’re a light sleeper definitely bring ear plugs. The bed is in the room closest to the door and you can hear everything in the hallway. Also both of the TVs didn’t work, the only channel they had was Fox News, so thank god I brought my tablet. There were sooo many kids in the hot tub that it wasn’t relaxing at all. I’ll stay elsewhere next time.
