MUDGEE Character filled warm and cozy house with 2 queen size bedrooms located on a level area with views forever. 28 acres of privacy only 15 minutes to the heart of Mudgee via a bitumen road. Pet friendly. Open fire, 55" TV, Netflix, Foxtel-Go, most streaming services, and all the free to air stations. Fast & unlimited Starlink WiFi internet access and strong Telstra 4G.
28 acres to wander around including 4 dams, a creek and an orchard with fruit trees and grape vines. Watch the sunsets with a glass or two of vino around the fire pit and cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen or the outdoor BBQ. Taxi and mini bus available if you need transport to and from town or the many wineries.

Two queen size beds and an air mattress available for the loungeroom if you want to sleep up to six.

A slice of country Heaven

My partner and I, along with our two furbabies loved our stay at "The Views" property. We had everything we needed and more to enjoy a comfortable stay. The doggies absolutely loved exploring the property, especially around the dam area. Surrounded by nature and the most stunning views we were spoilt for choice when it came to photo opportunities. Mudgee stay at its finest

A wonderful weekend away. Peaceful with great surrounding views. We experienced glorious hot clear days & misty mornings plus an absolute banger of a storm. We had no issues here with either of our large dogs - who had a lovely time.

Cosy cottage with stunning views!

It was our second visit to The Views with our two dogs. We really enjoyed drinks around the awesome fire pit, as well as toasting marshmallows, while taking in the gorgeous sunsets. Our pups loved their freedom & adventures around the property. A short drive to many wineries and Mudgee town centre. Highly recommended!

It was a privilege and a delight to stay at The Views, we would definitely go back.

We stayed at this property for a week with a dog and a cat. The cat just enjoyed a nice runny spot by the window. The dog, who is a bordoodle, didn’t stop smiling for the duration of his stay, and for that matter neither did we. We had a delightful experience, the weather and the views were outstanding. The house was basic but clean and well provided with everything we needed for our stay. We couldn’t be any happier. Thank you Neil for allowance us to stay at your lovely home it was a privilege and a delight.

Great Winter Get Away in Mudgee Area

Cute and comfy cottage with expansive views that beautifully capture the sunrise and sunset. Wonderful size property with plenty of room for our dog to roam and explore. Wildlife (cows, sheep and many kangaroos) abound, not to mention the colourful visiting birdlife. A super country haven where you can relax and unwind with all the amenities for a comfortable stay.

Peaceful Retreat

We LOVED our stay at aptly named "The Views". (You'll understand when you get there) Excellent value for money, having 28 acres of privacy sitting on the most amazing countryside backdrop. We were so glad to find a unique property like this so close to Mudgee that was pet friendly. We've never seen our dog Lou so happy having so much space to run around and enjoy. The cottage has such a calm, tranquil feel to it. We could of happily stayed for a couple weeks just doing absolutely nothing but enjoying the surroundings. Neil was prompt and responsive, informing us on all we needed to know throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Stay in Mudgee

Highlight of our stay was watching the sun set with a glass of local wine on the outdoor terrace. We had the fire pit going, and we cooked and ate our meal outdoors. Bliss! Our pup played and explored freely within the fenced yard. The Property was exactly as described, well located, only 15mins into town, yet remote enough to saviour the peace and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the Property had everything we needed to recharge in the country.

Perfect place to relax

Perfect stay for us as a family - 2 adults and 2 pups. Everything you need is provided by the host - we had the wood fire going on the cool nights as we drank red wine from one of the local vineyards - throughout the day it was a gorgeous to lay outside and read - 15 minutes into Mudgee for supplies and we never want to leave - sunrise spectacular and sunsets - sensational We love it here and have returned several times as it feels like our own holiday house

It was great except…

We booked this for Easter long weekend as a little country get away. Location, space, house and everything was 5 star for us. Perfect. Although the 2 huge rosemary bushes were literally covered in bees and the house awnings from midday until around 6pm were had a swarm of wasps. My husband is anaphylactic to bee’s and I could not relax with my 2 year old playing outside before 6pm on the lawn as she has never been stung by either before. We left with only 1/3 people being stung (me). I emailed the host for some advice, but I didn't hear anything back. I understand that we are in the bush, however trimming the rosemary bushes would probably be a smart idea given they’re so close to a guest house and swarmed with bee’s. Otherwise it was a great (sometimes stressful) stay.

This is an amazing property with truly spectacular views and beautiful sunset and sunrise. A comfortable home well furbished. Easy drive to Mudgee and vineyards. Great for anyone travelling with dogs. The property is well looked after. Thank you Neil we had a wonderful few days

Endless views.

Our stay at "the views" was really relaxing. The highlight for us was just sitting on the veranda taking in the spectacular views of the surrounding country side. The kids loved exploring the property and watching the variety of native animals. Thanks very much for sharing your property Niel.

Magical Views

Our stay was just magical, The Views has everything you could want for a relaxing country stay. The views are to die for, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house is warm and cosy and has everything you need. Can't wait to visit again.

Dog friendly retreat

Gorgeous views, comfy digs. Lovely location with true "get away" vibe. Cosy cottage with 28 acres to wander and explore. Our second visit and we look forward to many more. Grateful to have found such a wonderful dog friendly place to stay and enjoy.

Location, location, location

We dropped in for a couple of nights on return from a lengthy trip and found the location ticked all our boxes as did the cottage. Private, fenced yard for the pooch great views. Sunrise photos are worth the effort. It will be our recovery stay after our next big trip. 20min from Mudgee too.

Relaxing stay

This is just the best place to stay, it’s so relaxing. The views over the adjacent farms and beyond is spectacular. It was very clean and very well appointed with anything you could ever need for your stay. The beds were really comfortable too. Communication with Neil the owner was very good. We had our two dogs with us and they too had the best time in the secure yard. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property, I know that we will be back for sure. 😊🐶
