Our newest cottage. This English Tudor is located in a private wildlife habitat. It has 2 bedrooms with Queen sized beds. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and a fire pit, and a gas grill. Heated bath floor and walk in shower. Large electric fireplace with remote control. Enjoy spectacular sunsets on a large covered porch. Has all amenities that you will need for a wonderful stay. Just bring your personal items. 65” HDTV, Local channels plus Roku and Free Wi-Fi

Quick one night stop

I almost never leave reviews but had to for this one. We wound up at Storybook House rather than squire cottage but I have no doubt the review stands either way. The whole property was so lovely, the house itself was clean, well decorated and it’s clear the owners put energy into the little details. Walking around the farm with my dogs was perfect. I’ll definitely be back in the future!

Better than Expected

We were not at the cottage very much, we attended a family reunion at the state park. Beautiful flowers! Comfy beds! My sister did fall I’ll so we were there earlier than expected on the day of the reunion. We ordered a pizza for dinner and had fun visiting. We will definitely come back and I will let my relatives know for next time. We have our reunion every three years. We brought our pups which slept in their kennels. They loved the smells of all the animals. Thank you again for making our stay so wonderful.

Lovely Place!

We really enjoyed our time at the Squire Cabin while visiting my grandmother in Dugger. My son loved the Christmas lights! Great place off the beaten path.

Very pleasant

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is the best of nature with modern amenities. The Christmas display was nice and it made our holiday trip to the area special. So much better than and hotel. We enjoyed shopping local and then relaxing in the evenings. I have visited this area several times and will happily be staying here again. Thank you to the property owner for offering such a unique property to others.

Peaceful Getaway

I loved that it was at the end of a long drive and secluded and had a porch and little pond. Quiet air conditioner. Good sleep and a good time with family who stayed at their own cabins.

Outstanding place

One of the most well appointed and tended rentals I've ever seen in VRBO and AirBnB. From firewood for the fire pit to very comfortable beds and chairs, they have everything. And at this time of year you get to see sandhill cranes fly over at close range. Hard to beat.

Wonderful and quiet

The rental process was very easy. The property manager communicated well, giving us what we needed for our stay. The cottage was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The cottage is not large, but it is designed well and feels bigger than it looks. This is a wonderful place to stay, and we would certainly stay again.

Wife’s birthday getaway

My family had a great time at this comfortable, quiet cottage. Layout, furniture and amenities were all nice and made for a very relaxing stay - we extended our trip by a day. The inn, property, and other cottages on site would also make for a nice place to hold an event or reunion. Would book again.

Relaxing getaway

Nice grounds in order to watch the wildlife and explore nature. Cottage is well equipped with just about everything you need- just bring your clothes, toiletries and food items to make your meals at home. There is a nice grille as well. Quiet, contemplative, relaxing
