Welcome to The Cozy Cougar, the purrfect spot for your next lakeside holiday! Lounge on the dock, watch clouds pass by on our peaceful lake, and enjoy a BBQ, on our large deck while taking in the serene surroundings. Our newly renovated smart home is loaded with modern amenities, hidden gems and over 3000 arcade games. We are pawsitively excited to announce the latest addition to our rental property, an award-winning pinball game! Godzilla !!! This will provide endless hours of entertainment for you and your guests, adding a fun and unique element to your stay. Meoww ...Sink into our comfy sectional sofa and take in the beautiful sunsets, or just currrl up and escape in the Funky Bunkie.
The space
Meow, as you step into this cozy cottage, you'll be greeted by Alexa, our feline-friendly smart home assistant. She'll purr and guide you to the stunning waterfront view through the lakeside glass doors. But don't unpack just yet - grab a can of catnip and relax on the pillowed lounge chairs, listening to the peaceful sound of quiet (no pesky cars or crows here). You might even hear the sound of fish jumping in the lake or your own stomach growling as you imagine grilling up some delicious fish for dinner.

Take a stroll down the private dock and cast your line to catch some fish. Don't forget to pick up your fishing license - there's an abundance of fish to be caught here. We even have a pedal boat for you to explore the bay, and plenty of life vests and pool noodles to keep you safe and comfortable.

Inside, the newly renovated smart home is a non-conventional, open concept living space with a touch of comedy and family values. The decor features modern furnishings with plenty of lounging spots, and a 58-inch smart TV , Plex Server, and Blue-Ray DVD player to watch your favorite flicks after a long day on the water. You can even ask Alexa to change the lights or play music for you.

But the real surprise is the Street Fighter II arcade game and the award winning GODZILLA Pinball machine in the living room. And the best part is you can play as many games as you want without killing your pocket as we roll old school with quarters.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and cookware you need to make delicious meals. The Cozy Cougar has an additional lounging space.The Funkie Bunkie, which is also Alexa-powered and has a full size bed, futon, and 50-inch TV.

Keep in mind that this is a remote cottage, so be prepared for currrvy dirt roads, critters, bugs, moose, bears, and poor cell service at times.

With a minimum rental of three nights, and four nights for holiday weekends, linens and blankets not included, it's the purr-fect place for families, couples, friends, hunters, anglers or anyone looking for a fun and unique vacation rental. So pack your cozy sheets, and your security blanket, and get ready for a purr-fect vacation.
Guest access
You'll have access to everything on the property except for the garage. That's where I keep my kitty toys and snacks, so you'll have to make do with the rest of the amenities.

You'll have access to the main home, the Bunkie, the deck, the sunroom, and the meshed sunroom. You can also use the fire pit, the dock and all the water toys. Just make sure to bring your own cozy sheets and security blanket, because towels, kitchen towels, linens, pillow cases, paper products and toiletries are not provided.

Oh, and don't worry about parking, you can fit 4 cars on the driveway, but don't mind me, I'll just be taking a nap in the sun. Have a purrr- fect stay!
Other things to note
Before your stay we would like to inform you of our policies and guidelines:

Please note that we do not provide linens, sheets, pillowcases, towels, toiletries or paper products. It is the guests’ responsibility to bring their own. Additionally, our decorative pillow shams are for decor only and should not be used as pillowcases.

To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, our property can only be rented to those 25 years of age and older and we do not allow parties on the premises. Any excessive noise or disturbance will result in immediate eviction without refund.

Smoking is not permitted inside the property. If smoking is necessary it must be done outside and all cigarette butts must be disposed of properly.

We do not provide trash pickup service. Please refer to the provided map for the designated trash drop-off point. It is important to properly dispose of trash to avoid attracting wildlife. A fee of $30 will be charged if our cleaners are required to do a trash drop-off.

In the Spring, Summer and Fall, Seguin's smallest residents, the ants, are active. We have a year-round contract with a pest control company to minimize their presence. Guests are asked to keep entry doors closed, kitchen counters and floors clean, to prevent infestation. If you notice any ants during your stay, please contact us and we will have the pest control company come out for an extra spray.

As the property managers, Kolin and Lisa are committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests. Kolin has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and has successfully incorporated technology into the vacation rental experience. Lisa has extensive experience in property management and deep connections to the town of Seguin. We are available via text, email, or phone to assist with any issues that may arise.
