Classic Knotty Pine två sovrum stuga 25 meter från Somo Lake. Stugan levereras med komplett kök, spis, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, brödrost. 2 sovrum ger plats för upp till 5 gäster. Utanför ligger 400 meter privat strandlinje och en brygga för din båt, att simma, fiska utanför eller titta på solnedgången. Privat båtramp på fastigheten. Utmärkt fiske inklusive musky, walleye, crappie, bluegils. Njut av en lägereld / stek marshmallows i eldstaden. Njut av en picknicklunch ute på uteplatsen. ATV och snöskoterleder är anslutna till fastigheten. Jakt i närheten. Perfekt för många tillfällen: familjesemester, parresa, lugnt avkopplande, vackert Northwoods-område.

Clean and cozy. Owner is friendly and responsive. Close to the water, great fishing off the dock for kids. Loved the fire pit and that we could bring our dog. Kitchen is small, but who cooks? We grilled most of the time.Everyone had so much fun!!!

We loved being so close to the water. We could sit and talk and watch the kids fish off the dock and have fun with the paddle boat.

Cute lakeside cabin

We enjoyed our time on Somo lake, the paddle boat was also a lot of fun. This was our first real trip with our 8 month old puppy, cabin 1 was ideal for a dog and she learned to swim as well. Huge bonus was the water was clean so Echo didn’t require a bath. Good experience!

Hunting trip

It was snug for more than a couple of folks and gear but sufficed for a place to overnight. Parking was easy to get in and out with a trailer and location was convenient to town. Host was promptly responsive to inquiries. Nice setting on the lake.

Greatest Family Vacation Spot

We loved every min of our vacation. Perfect in every way. Grandparents, parents, almost 3 year old and a dog. We enjoyed the fire pit, grilling, kayaking, tons of yard space for games, fishing on the dock and more. We brought our boat and it was so convenient. Lou was very inviting and helpful throughout our whole stay. We will be back next year for sure. Thank you Lou and Colleen for making the best vacation for our family.

Weekend getaway

This place was smelly the pillows and blankets had a terrible smell to them! The couch was all matted and smelly ans we wouldn't even sit on it! We had no towels but the owner told us to go get them in his storage but we didn't as the place was just too dirty for us to stay in! The worst part about this as it was our anniversary Weekend getaway that we traveled 3 hours to get here thinking it was going to be a wonderful place and it was definitely a big letdown! Hopefully this never happens to anyone else!

Beautiful lake view

The cabin had a big picture window right on the lake with a beautiful view. There were also nice sets of hooks everywhere you wanted to hang things. Family caught many fish off the dock. It is definitely a small place but well-designed.

Perfect just what the doctor ordered

The cabin is great. Completely renovated inside with a brand new dock. Perfect for a small family. Great view of the lake from a big bay window. Owners were quite accommodating. Will stay here again, centrally located for many fine bars and restaurants

Short hunting weekend

Was great for a weekend of grouse hunting. Really clean. Only issue is that there was only a box spring on the top bunk.

Came into town for a funeral but had some fun and sun too!

We came to town and enjoyed the Somo view. Tomahawk is a quaint town. We enjoyed the sun and fishing and local restaurants. We even took in a water skiing show!

June 2021 stay

The property was very easy to get to and they parking is great for those with a boat. The cabin is as described. Cabin 1 does share a wall/door with the other cabin. We did have issues with guests in the attached cabin whose dog was barking extremely late into the night and guests who were very loud partying into the night. Overall the property is great.

Tylors Birthday ice fishing trip

It was a cold week to ice fish all week long. We caught fish and had an amazing adventure on lake somo with the awesome convince of the cozy cabin next to the lake.

Very peaceful and relaxing.

My son and I had an awesome time just enjoying nature. We had a good time kayaking, fishing and sitting around the fire. We also, seen an Eagle a couple times out on the lake. The cabin was super clean and very comfortable. We definitely would like to come back for another visit.

Summer relaxation

We rented a boat from the local boat rental place in Tomahawk. They delivered the boat and we enjoyed fishing on the lake, cooking our meals at the cabin, and moonlight campfires every evening. The sunsets on the lake were beautiful. I hope to return again.

Weekend Getaway

We loved everything about our stay! The property was recently remodeled, super clean interior, and we were greeted by a warm host. We were looking for a quiet place to relax with our two children and dog. We found the perfect place! Thank you for having us, and we'd love to return some day.

I have been coming to Tomahawk since he was 5 yrs old. I remember catching crappie from the pier, swimming, learning to ski and seeing deer in the woods and bears at the dump at night. Fast forward 45 yrs... my wife Colleen and two kids came up to beautiful Tomahawk and fell in love with it almost as much as I.

When I first stepped on the Somo View Resort, I realized quickly that it was duly named. The resort jets out into Somo Lake producing one of the best sunsets we've ever seen.
It is absolutely breathtaking and is really something to see in every season over and over. It never gets old. Come see for yourself and create your own memories.

The views of Somo Lake from every cabin are outstanding. It is nice to have our own boat ramp and piers for guests to use. Whether you bring your own boat or rent one, you can park it right outside your cabin on our own piers. Sit outside and enjoy picnic tables and grills for dining with family and friends. Fishing from the piers and the lake is excellent.
