Located a 6 minute walk to the picturesque South Coast and magnificent Peaceful Bay.

20 minutes drive to the Tree Top Walk. 25 minute drive to Walpole, 40 minute drive to Denmark and one hour from Albany.

'Skippys' chalet is located adjacent to a private oval where kids (and adults) can play and run around. Ample room for boat parking. An outdoor wood fire is perfect to warm up whilst watching the local kangaroos hop past.

The cottage consists of 1 x queen, 1 x double and 2 x single beds. For bookings through this site, linen is provided however it is advisable to bring additional blankets as some people prefer blankets to doonas.

Linen includes sheets, pillow cases and towels.

Gas bbq, oil heaters, a 40 inch television and built-in robes are some of the bonus features of this cottage.

Pets are not permitted and smoking in outdoor areas only please.

Doonas are already on the beds, however it is recommended to bring additional blankets with some people preferring blankets to doonas.

Lovely stay, very quiet and peaceful

Beautiful area, lovely visits from kangaroos Reception only works for people on Telstra, Optus or Vodaphone you have to drive just down to the beach, not even 2 minutes. Would definitely stay again Cabins had all the necessities needed to be self sufficient and cook dinners.

Peaceful Place to relax and unwind

Lovely cottage in quiet location. Short walk to the beach and located between Denmark and Walpole for many places to visit.

Lovely quiet space, in between 2 larger places. Plenty of room to move inside without being on top of each other. Would definitely come back x

Our stay at Peaceful Bay

Lovely location, living space was comfortable enough for 6 people, but wouldve preferred single beds in both rooms rather than double beds. Unfortunately, we planned a barbecue, to sadly discover the barbecue was dirty with rat faeces. Overall, neat and tidy. Standard accommodation.

Happy Campers

This sweet little holiday cottage had everything we wanted. It is clean, well appointed and comfortable. The location and setting is great and if you want a leisurely stroll to the beach or shop, they are not far away. Thankyou David for providing us with the perfect holiday accommodation. For anybody looking for a great holiday, I would highly recommend this property.

Surprising.

This is a real gem of a property, you must see inside, please do not judge the property by the aesthetics outside, inside is a veritable feast on the senses. A true masterpiece. With the galley kitchen to the left, open plan dining, sharing the space with the lounge, all within reach. TV dinners are always a treat while on holiday. Cosy might be slightly generous. This beach shack has been lovingly maintained, untouched since the 70’s. Vintage furniture also untouched. Might be wise to pack some cleaning gear. Maybe a paintbrush as well. The purple sheets represent luxury, wealth and sophistication, shame the previous guests got to experience these before us. They forgot to clean them. David is a motivated seller, providing you with the opportunity to rent and the option to buy. Alas too many other inhabitants for us, we did not stay, finding an alternative that was a space to relax. Hard for David to remedy the situation when he lives 5 hours away. No caretaker around. Shame for David, he may enjoy responding. However, we did not stay, and the property remained untouched, he also received two nights rent and was able to relist on another platform. Not many passers-by in Peaceful Bay.

Comfortable enough

Property was comfortable and well equipped in a great location. Check in details weren’t provided but a quick phone call and that was sorted. Property is on bore water and I think that should be included in the description as should the fact the washing machine is not in the cottage but in a communal laundry.

Great Location

We had visits from magpies, 28's, chickens and kangaroos that delighted the 7 and 4 year old. The beach was minutes away, as were local attractions. We did Dinosaur world, visited Walpole, Denmark, Albany and every tourist attraction in-between. Bought honey, liquor, chocolate, toffee, ice cream and the best ever pies and burgers. Peaceful Bay fish and chips are the best. We caught fish, relaxed, read, walked, toasted marshmallows over an open fire, played on the open grassed space and had a wonderful week. Very happy with the facilities, the cookware was beyond expectation - usually blunt knives and old pans, these were sharp enough for our needs and the pans non stick. Comfortable for the 6 of us. Kids loved it.

Near on the places we want to visit

Bit cold, water was bore water/ rain water and bit far from Denmark town but still good to stay close to Nature and places to we need to visit.

Location great, short drive to beach!

Location was great, beach bach style and only 5 mins from the actual beach! Which I loved. We were out exploring everyday we were in Peaceful bay. It really is peaceful.

Nestled in amongst the Peppermint trees

Nestled in amongst the Peppermint trees Is a small 3 bedroom cottage well positioned to catch the breeze with windows open. All the basics are there which was good as I’d cook my catch of the day every evening. 5 nights there was bliss
