Prana Residence-Spa är en holistiskt utformade bostad ger total avkoppling och omvandlingen av vital liv (prana).

Det ligger på fem och en halv tunnland ovanpå de skogsklädda kullar av Cornwall Bridge i Litchfield County, Connecticut, mindre än två timmar från Manhattan.

Prana Residence-Spa rymmer 7 gäster och har ett rymligt vardagsrum / matrum med en dramatisk 20-fot hög kupol tak och en signatur vedeldad spis. Ett fullt utrustat öppet kök med sin sten kontrade bar ser ut i stort men mysigt vardagsrum. Residenset har tre attraktiva sovrum, ett loft, och tre badrum. Det stora sovrummet är på bottenvåningen. En spiraltrappa förbinder vardagsrummet till bibliotek / meditation område och gäst sovrum.

Prana Residence-Spa har en stor inomhuspool, bastu, djup, kallt dopp badkar, inomhus jacuzzi, bubbelpool och solarium, som också kan användas som en massage rum. Spa-faciliteter är för exklusiv användning av Prana Residence - Spa gäster. Dess unika och inspirerande struktur har gjort en betydande inverkan i byggbranschen och har ofta skrivit om i nationella och internationella publikationer, såsom New York Times. Dessutom håller det miljövänliga materialet LEED byggnaden sval på sommaren (utan behov av luftkonditionering) och toasty varm på vintern (med minimal uppvärmning). Men under exceptionellt heta dagar har vi installerat en luftkonditionering i vardagsrummet.

Området är känt för sin mångfald av fåglar, inklusive vilda kalkoner, som man ofta kan se när man sitter i vardagsrummet. Dess naturliga landskapsarkitektur och stora stenblock, liksom gamla träd, locka olika vilda djur inklusive vänliga rådjur.

På din begäran och med en avancerad bokning kan vi boka en mängd olika tjänster, inklusive professionell massage och andra spabehandlingar butler, privat kock, daglig städning och körd bilservice. Vi kan också rekommendera och ordna friluftsaktiviteter såsom ridning, och andra säsongsbetonade aktiviteter såsom vattensporter, öring fiske, kanoting på den natursköna Housatonic River samt fågelskådning på den närliggande Audubon Center.

Excellent Fall getaway at Prana

We loved our stay at Prana for the weekend! The indoor heated pool, jacuzzi and outdoor hot run were very relaxing and lots of fun, and Noushin is a great hostess! My friends that saw my pics are all asking about this now and want to book :)!

Amazing retreat from the city

We have an incredible time escaping from the city to this unique spa oasis out in the woods. The property is one of the most unique places we've ever stayed, and we couldn't have asked for more of a relaxing long holiday weekend. Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway!

My sister in law and I booked this to get our 4 kids out of the house for Spring Break! It was a perfect escape from our daily lives! We utilized the hot tub, sauna and pool daily! The house was very clean and well maintained. Noushin was the perfect host. We would book here again!

Relaxing Stay

My friends and I stayed here for a few days for a much needed break from work. We had a good time just hanging out. The owner had phone service come during our stay, so ideally I think it would have been better to wait until after our stay was completed. The pool was nice, but just wished that it was a bit warmer and the hot tub had a strange smell to it. The sauna was pretty cool, and a nice touch to the place. Overall, we had a good time and I would recommend the house to others..

Had an amazing relaxing Birthday!

I was there for celebrating my Birthday. Everything about it was very unique and special and a big surprise. I felt like I was transported into the magical world of the heavens far away! A get away from the stresses of the real world to a world of tranquility and inspiration. I was greeted by the property owner Noushin who is a renowned Architect and a very friendly person. The decoration was very tasteful. One of those cases where the pictures don't do justice! All I needed was a tooth brush and my change of cloths, everything else was provided. The drive was very easy, less than two hours away from NYC. Had an amazing and unique experience. Highly recommended!

Will never return!

Terrible experience! The home lost power (the rest of the street was totally fine, this was an issue just with this house). We had to leave the property due to no electricity or heat, and landlord refused to return ANY of our money. And we are still fighting to get our down payment back. Renter beware.

Kent-Cornwall Getaway

Prana was a one of a kind getaway for myself and 4-very good friends. We enjoyed the pool, sauna & outdoor jacuzzi, cooking in the kitchen and relaxing. Noushin is an excellent host.

Unique Home in a Beautiful Setting

Lovely, unique home in which to stay. Having breakfast with a book in the solarium was Incredibly peaceful and the outdoor hot tub a relaxing way to end the day. The home had everything we needed and the area was fun to explore. The master bedroom on the main floor has an open floor plan with tub, sink and toilet in the room. There is a table fan in the room but no air conditioning- it was hot one night but the rest were comfortable to sleep (mid July). There are 2 bedrooms up the spiral staircase - one with 2 twins and a small loft, and the other with a double bed, both rooms had air conditioning. There is a standup shower between these bedrooms. The open office area at the top of the stairs was where my teen set up base and he loved it. I would not bring my kids here if they were younger or too rambunctious- the railing at the top of the stairs has large openings and there are several pieces of art to be cautious around. Noushin was a lovely host - walking us through the nuances of this eclectic home by phone on arrival. She is kind and accommodating to work with. There is no cell service at the home but the WiFi worked well and there is a house phone to use. This worked well for us trying to unplug from our jobs. We all had a rejuvenating vacation with a mix of relaxation and exploration. Thank you, Noushin, for being a wonderful host!

Very cool experience

This is funky house which I found to be very cool. Idyllic setting in the woods is great and the foam construction is very cool. Amenities were excellent for my wife and seven year old twins. I loved the indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge pool.

Relaxing Get Away

We loved staying at this very special house for Easter wknd. The house is close to everything yet private enough that we were able to relax. The decor is tasteful, and I found everything I needed in the kitchen. We took full advantage of the spa facilities too. My husband and I used the sauna and the jacuzzi which melted the tension away. The whole family played in the pool. The best part was sitting around at night and playing games while taking in the peaceful surroundings. We plan on booking this home again.

The Igloo

Our family had such a wonderful stay at “the igloo” as our kids called it. We loved the area, so charming. The house was just as described in both text and pictures. The hot tub and pool were our reason for choosing it and we used them everyday. We are hoping to come back next winter!

Geodesic dome fun

We had a wonderful time at this property. Despite its age the property has been well maintained and has everything you need. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub and sauna and our kids had a blast using the pool. The driveway is steep so make sure you have a good 4wd vehicle in case of snow if you stay in the winter. Noushin was a great host and very responsive whenever we had a question and the year-round renters in the garage apartment were very friendly.

Great mid-winter stay

The property is exactly as is presented, and the amenities are great. We enjoyed the fireplace, the pool was a perfect temp, the sauna works well, and the outdoor hot tub is a fantastic way to end the day with the sunset. Noushin took the time to explain everything, and was a gracious host. Worth it, would go again.

Great get away!

We had an absolute great time! In the pool and hot tub twice a day and finished our time with a wonderful sauna. The country road that Prana is on was great for walking our dog. We took a couple of scenic drives and the area is beautiful. The nearby towns of Sharon and Kent were so quaint and typical New England. We got takeout in Kent at a restaurant called Swyft and it was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend Prana!
