Excellent

Wonderful location, just 20 minutes to Bryson City, and easy driving distance to amazing roads and hikes. Very well appointed, the owner obviously makes a distinct effort to make the cabin as good as possible.

Fantastic Cabin with all the Amenities

I loved this cabin since it was so close to many beautiful hiking spots and had literally everything you could ever ask for. It was incredibly well stocked with pans, spices, washer/dryer etc. The host was incredibly communicative and was very quick to respond to questions. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting some peace anf quiet for a perfect getaway. Btw the views and hot tub are amazing!

We loved everything about this cabin in the Smokey mountains sitting in the hot tub and enjoying the Mountain View’s was the best!!! We had the whole family up for new years and cooking in that kitchen was a dream they literally have everything you need plus a nice spice collection!! We’re definitely coming back here to stay!!!

Great stay!

Amazing view from the Hot tub

This cabin has everything you could need and then some. There are lots of thoughtful little touches like the all natural shampoo /conditioner and the body soap. We just enjoyed our stay Hanging out playing games at the cabin and shopping around in Bryson city . There is this great little dinner there you must stop in to the owner is a hoot (Everett street Dinner).

Beautiful mountain getaway!

Loved our stay! Accommodated our family of 6 and 2 dogs perfectly. Very clean, lots of amenities that weren’t even listed. Loved the hot tub after a very cold day in the town. Just what our family needed during the holidays.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had a great view from the upper deck tho the stairs were a little taxing over all it was a great place to stay. The washer and dryer was so convenient too. Thank you for allowing us to use your home for our vacation 🥰

Great GSMNP Getaway

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed for our time near the Smokies, and thought and care were put into making the place guest-ready. Good communication from host, expectations were clear from the get-go. A bonus for us: we really enjoyed having two decks.

Absolutely AMAZING cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well stocked cabin in Almond, NC. The cabin was perfect for our group. Tastefully decorated, yet cozy too. The views from the deck are breathtaking. The cabin is centrally located to Bryson City, Cherokee, Asheville to name a few. The property is well maintained with so much to do if you choose to spend your time there. There are lovely trails and a stocked pond. A nice hammock for a nap while listening to the many birds that will surely sing you to sleep! Hot tub, grill, well equipped kitchen. Couldn’t ask for any better!

Another fun visit!

We stayed here about two years ago. There have been some improvements and other changes. We weren’t huge fans of the number of cameras on the porch areas in the back. We weren’t aware there had been so many installed and made it a bit hard to relax on the wooden decks when the red lights came on when you moved and you knew someone, somewhere, was watching. I would recommend taking those down. Otherwise, it’s a sweet place to stay and we love it!

Perfect little cabin getaway

I took my mom here for her first retirement vacation. It was her first cabin stay ever and it was everything she had dreamed of and more. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. There are honestly so many amenities that we didn't even have to use half the stuff we brought. Plenty of supplies to make fires, quality tools, kitchenware and seasonings for cooking, lots of entertainment (when we discovered the entire deck underneath the top deck, we were blown away!). The view, the hot tub, the lighting, the deck was a dream. The layout of the house was perfectly cozy but gave us the perfect amount of room we needed for the two of us. We would have been just as comfortable bringing two more people. Everything was clean and the communication with the host was spectacular and was very accommodating to our needs when it came to our check in and out times. All in all a perfect trip. We also really appreciated the streaming services that were available on the TV so that we didn't have to sign into our own. Only things I have to remark on where that we couldn't figure out how to turn on the fireplace. We followed the instructions in the manual from the binder but it still wasn't lighting. Maybe it was out of gas. Also the DVD player remote in the living room was not responding (dead batteries?). I also couldn't figure out how to connect the Vizio sound system to the tv. But we were more than happy without those things and had a splendid time with all the accommodations. Thank you!!

Awesome stay!

The property was beautifully done. We enjoyed the cabin look and tastefully decorated for the season. Very well stocked for everything you need for your stay. The view of the mountains is breathtaking from the back porch. Enjoy the sunsets! Cabin is very cozy and comfortable. When we return to enjoy the NC mountains…we will definitely book again. Very close to Fontana Lakes and the Dam. Close to Bryson City, Cherokee and the Smokey Mountains. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you enjoyed walking and hiking like we did. The area near the home has many. We enjoyed the day and evening hikes in the mountains. The gravel roads to the home could look scary but as long as you are driving slowly and during the day you should be fine. We drove to the home on a suburban and we were fine.

Great little cabin

Cabin was clean and has wonderful linens, cookware, outlet availability, WiFi and cookware/dishes/utensils. Deck has great views, comfortable seating choices and chiminea for warm fires. Very pet friendly. Wonderful welcome tray of goodies and coffee choices provided. Great spice selection for cooking. Updated appliances, but ice trays for making ice. Bottled water provided. Washer/dryer very convenient for longer stays. Master bed is very soft, which some people probably like. Lots of steps to go from parking walk-in down to main living room and kitchen. Kitchen is cozy, so not a lot of counter/grocery space. Bathroom has limited counter space for toiletries/toothbrushes. Overall, great choice for our visit. We had a wonderful long weekend.

Remote Work and Mountain Weekend

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin in Almond, NC. The house was incredibly well stocked and we felt right at home. It was comfortable and cozy, yet still had the modern amenities we needed. The view was spectacular and we really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and using the hot tub. We worked remote during our stay. The internet held up well, other than one large thunderstorm one of the nights, which is to be expected. We were even able to stream the NBA playoffs without issue, other than during the storm. I'd highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a spot to enjoy nature. There is so much hiking right nearby. The drive to the cabin is easy and the whole neighborhood is great, with the shared lake down by the main road.

Relaxing Getaway

It was a fabulous place for our getaway. The outdoor space was exceptional. The hot tub and views were spectacular. Even in the drizzly weather, we were able to enjoy the outdoors with the seating and games on the lower deck. There were thoughtful amenities inside and outside the cabin. The property manager was responsive and helpful.
