Cozy and Relaxing!

We found the Britt cottage in late Decemeber for my own birthday stay-cation. This was our second stay here, and we love it. The amenities are fantastic, the bed is large and comfortable and the bathroom is amazing. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Will definitely be coming back

Thankful!

Grateful for the lovely accommodations and beautifully appointed cottage. Just perfect for a restful holiday with the relaxing spa bath, cozy fireplace , and complimentary bottle of bubbly!!! I appreciated the locality to the shops and restaurants in Jacksonville . I will definitely stay again when I visit my kids in Medford!!

Relaxing cottage

Britt’s Cottage is just lovely! Perfect for a couple getaway. Beautiful space! Super comfortable bed, spa-like bathroom, fireplace and kitchenette. We enjoyed the outer fire pit in the patio too!

5 star all the way around from picky traveler

Location is great- 3 blocks to great restaurants and maybe 5 to Brit Fest. The property is spotless, the owners have everything you need plus a nice bottle of Prosecco in the refrigerator, snacks and coffee. Could not have been better!! Like staying in a beautiful tree house!

Last stop on our trip.

The cottage is spacious and cozy. We had a very comfortable stay even with the 95 degree weather. Loved we were a couple blocks from town.We would stay here again.

Relaxing Getaway

This cottage is so lovely with everything needed to relax and recharge. Close to everything in Jacksonville. Super quiet neighborhood. 2nd time staying here. Will be back again!!

Love Love Love this place ❤️

This is the most relaxing convenient place to stay in Jacksonville. Stayed here for a Britt concert so we didn't have to worry about driving afterwards. Walked to dinner, Britt and then Breakfast this next day. Great location! Amenities are pretty stellar too! Really disappointed there is no longer a gas firepit. Other than that cutest place with everything you would need.

Quiet and Comfortable

My wife and I loved our stay in the Britt Cottage. The cottage proved to be just as described. Clean, comfortable and a perfect location for activities in Jacksonville. We could easily walk to downtown restaurants and shops and to the Britt Festival venue. Also, owners Mike and Laurie were very responsive and motivated for us to enjoy our stay. The Britt Cottage was exactly the accommodations we were hoping for during our visit to Jacksonville.

A Cottage It's Not

A cottage is a stand-alone, single-story small building. This is an upstairs apartment accessed by 17 exterior steps, posing a barrier to the even slightly handicapped. Other than that, it was a well-appointed, well-maintained property with every amenity and easy, contactless check-in.

Perfect romantic getaway!

Beautiful, modern, clean, and cozy. We had a blast staying at the Britt Cottage during the off season. We were blessed with a rare amount of snowfall for the area, which added to the romance of it all as we enjoyed the lovely gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub. The bed was comfortable, the outdoor grill did the trick for a home cooked meal, and there were lots of thoughtful little accommodations, wine, snacks, bubbly water, etc.. Mike and Laurie the host were very sweet and generous. Hope to stay again in the future.

We loved everything about this space

The rental is exactly as it is described. It is a comfortable space in a great location. The bed is absolutely one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in, especially in a rental. The linens are so puffy you just sink into them. We loved the bottle of Quady North upon our arrival. And we never knew we needed heated floors until we experienced them in the bathroom! We would recommend that anyone planning to stay search out where they want to eat as we found options were limited in Jacksonville. We had a great breakfast at Pony Espresso and dinner at Umi Sushi and Gogi’s. We will definitely stay here again.

Jacksonville Britt Cottage is worthy of a stay

When we arrived we were met by a family of deer in the driveway, what a greeting! This upstairs lodging is well appointed and covered all of our needs. The firepit was a delightful surprised and was used at night with a glass of wine and in the morning with coffee. This might not be a spot for couples who have one person that wakes much earlier than the other, since the living area is one room. I got around that by sitting outside by the fire with my Kindle. A throw blanket would have been a welcome addition. All in all, a lovely spot and a block from restaurants.

Sweet Lil Suite

This was a perfect VRBO to stay in if you're wanting to visit the historic town of Jacksonville. It's in the heart of downtown where boutiques and restaurants are within walking distance. The place was well equipped with amenities and the bathroom felt more like a personal day spa! The only negative part of our experience was not being able to get in. The code we were told to use didn't work. After calling and emailing a couple times, Mike was able to reset the code and let us in. It was a stressful 20 minutes, but the complementary bottle of Tempernillo and warm fireplace made up for everything once inside. We would highly recommend this place and plan to stay again.
