Summary:
Instantly appealing and a delight to the senses, this distinctive home draws inspiration from Mediterranean sojourns. European influences are evident upon arrival, from the lush greenery, to manicured landscaping and beautiful presentation inside and out. The sunny terrace, pool and pavilion provides the ultimate place for outdoor alfresco entertaining. This tranquil retreat in central Torquay has a living area, fully-equipped kitchen and is only 5min walk to Fisherman's Beach.
The Space:
Centrally located in âold Torquayâ, this house can comfortably accommodate 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. Privately located behind the front fence, the two-storey home is classic and well-maintained, with parquetry floors and plantation shutters. You will love the simplicity of time spent here, with space to lounge in the park-like grounds.
A covered veranda offers shady outdoor seating, while a pool-house sets the scene for relaxed, outdoor living. All eyes will be on the sparkling blue pool (solar-heated only, therefore temperature will fluctuate depending on the weather/season. ie: maximum temp could be approx 27' during a week of hot weather, but will be much cooler otherwise). Please note the pool is NOT FENCED, and this property is not suitable for young families with babies/toddlers.
The open plan layout centres around the garden aspect (in fact, every room in this home offers a garden view), with north-facing downstairs living, bay windows and window seating to sit and read with a drink.
A split system heating-cooling unit is fitted downstairs, and another unit in the master bedroom, plus gas central heating throughout. Cosy lounges and window seats provide comfort, while the dining table seats 6 guests. The kitchen has an electric oven and cooktop, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and coffee pod machine (a small selection of pods provided) â everything you need on holidays.
Two Queen bedrooms and an oversized master/parents retreat with King-size bed are all made up with quality sheets and bath towels. The master bedroom has a heating-cooling split system unit. Please BYO beach/pool towels. There are 2 bathrooms, plus a powder room downstairs.

Closest train station 15km away (Waurn Ponds station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Torquay is 1 hour 30 mins by car from Melbourne.
