Summary:
This comfortable 3 bedroom, ground floor secure unit in Woolloongabba is just 2 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD and features a roomy open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen space with polished floorboards, a wall-mounted reverse-cycle air con unit and a ‘Smart’ TV. The 3 bedrooms are carpeted and have ceiling fans. There’s a variety of eateries close by as well as the Princess Alexandra Hospital, while Sport fans will enjoy its close proximity to ‘The Gabba’, Brisbane’s premier sports stadium.

The Space:
Situated in a cul-de-sac, this secure, ‘diamond in the rough’ ground-floor unit is the perfect home away from home. Enter into an open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area featuring polished floorboards and a wall-mounted reverse cycle air con unit for year-round comfort. The lounge area comes with a 2.5 seater sofa, armchair and a Smart TV while the dining table seats 6 people. A well-equipped kitchen offers a 4-burner gas cook top, under-bench gas oven, microwave and coffee machine.

There are 3 bedrooms, all carpeted with ceiling fans and ample wardrobes for longer stays. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed while the other 2 bedrooms have double beds and mirrored wardrobes. A combined bathroom/laundry features floor-to- ceiling tiling, a large shower recess and a combined washing machine/clothes dryer.

Street parking is untimed.

Guest Access:
Guests will be greeted by one of our friendly staff to hand over the keys and walk through the features of the apartment as well as assist with any information you might need.

The Neighborhood:
Located just 2 kilometres south east of Brisbane’s CBD (Downtown), Woolloongabba is emerging as one of Brisbane’s most sought after suburbs. The unit itself is well located, only a few minutes’ walk to a choice of eateries on Logan Road and a 5 minute drive to a Coles supermarket in the Gabba Central shopping centre. Sports lovers will appreciate the unit’s close proximity to “The Gabba’, Brisbane’s premier oval sports stadium for football and cricket, less than 20 minutes walk away or a 4 minute drive. Princess Alexandra Hospital is only a 7 minute drive or just over 20 minutes walk.

Getting Around:
The unit comes with a dedicated undercover parking spot, with free street parking available too. If you prefer public transport, there are regular bus services into Brisbane’s CBD (Downtown) less than 15 minutes walk from the unit. Buranda train station is 12 minutes walk away, also offering regular services to the CBD.

Other Things to Note:
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.

* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.

*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.

*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.

* Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals and is not a hotel.

* Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is he case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.

A neat and tidy unit in a great, convenient location. The process from booking to checkout was incredibly smooth and stress free. We will endeavour to stay here again on our next business trip.

Good place for a short stay but missing a few essentials
It was a good little unit and good for just a short weekend stay. It was fairly clean however the whole unit smelt like bleach for several hours after we arrived. Several of the blinds were broken which meant we were unable to sleep in as so much light came in. The blinds also did not help keeping the cold out which was an issue in winter. One bedroom window had no blind too letting so much light in all night making it difficult to sleep. The windows were also very difficult to open and close making it hard to get airflow through the unit. There was also no oven trays to use in the oven…. Which would have been helpful to know before we purchased dinner to put in the oven. You would assume somewhere with an oven would have oven trays so you could use the oven… One of the beds was great but the other 2 were not very comfortable. Overall it was good for what we needed but probably wouldn’t stay again as the price is quite expensive for the quality of the place.

Apart from the lovely visitors we encountered such as the furry caterpillars and small cockroaches that roamed the bathroom floor and kitchen/ living room I felt like I was in a dressed up prison cell with the bars on the windows and the eerie feel of the cement walls with hardly any natural light and echoing rooms I couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable this certainly isn’t value for the money we paid definitely room for improvement
