Walkable location

Enjoyed skiing in the mountains and returning to Canmore at the end of the day. The condo is very comfortable and clean. The location allowed us to walk to restaurants, which was a bonus.

Perfect stay at the perfect place with a perfect host

We have been to the Solara many times and it remains our favourite place to stay in Canmore. Just a perfect mix of luxury and proximity to downtown. Out host was fabulous with his communication. He wrote lots and everything important in detail. When I responded, I literally had a response back in minutes. When next we go to Canmore, we will definitely take a look if this unit is still available. Full recommendation!

Loved the suite. Of course it would be awesome to have a mountain view. Carpets were dirty in the one bedroom otherwise it was clean. Easy access to the pool.

A very comfortable stay for a family of 4

We had a very lovely March Break stay with a family of four (both children elementary-aged). The location is conveniently located within walking distance to many amenities. The unit was very clean and comfortable and the building was in good shape. Communication from the hosts was outstanding with lots of proactively provided information with everything we needed to know. The unit was well stocked with all of the basics needed to prepare meals. We brought a fair amount of provisions and need to get a bit creative for storage. There are plenty of extra blankets for any chilly nights watching a movie. The furnishings were all comfortable and we all slept well. There’s ample storage to unpack and not feel the need to live out of a suitcase. Perhaps a couple of hooks for robe or towels and some USB outlets to charge devices would be useful. Overall it was a nice getaway and we can easily recommend to others.

Excellent Hosts!

This was a great place to stay for our family of four! The location was walking distance to everything in Canmore and close to the Hwy. The condo was well-equipped and cozy! Our hosts were great, easy to get in touch with and checked up during the stay. Didn’t want to leave. Thanks for everything!!!

Worthwhile

Very nice place, quiet, and had everything we needed for a pleasant trip and stay at the condo. Walkable to downtown, spacious bathrooms, well appointed kitchen. We would stay there again.

Family Vacation

Great condo, fantastic hosts! Lots of detailed instructions for anything and everything you would need to know, from the check in process to the TV remote controls. They were very quick to respond and would check in periodically to see if we needed anything.

Nice condo in a great location

Nice condo. Great location in easy walking distance to downtown. Onsite underground parking. Pool is very small but the kids enjoyed it. Hot tub is huge and located in the building just opposite this one.

Friends Getaway

Great stay!

The unit was incredible, everything was stocked really well (e.g., spices, cooking oil, paper towels). Parking is easy to access and there is always space. The unit also includes a bbq which works great for burgers and hotdogs. Would stay again

A great place to stay when traveling to Banff

This was a nice place in a good location In Canmore. The parking was convenient, the hot tub was awesome, and the directions easy to understand. The only complaint I have is that the sheets on the bed must have been washed and/or softened with perfumed detergent. That is a nice touch for many, but many of us who are getting older it is a problem. I couldn’t fall asleep, got a headache, just from fragrance. No one else was bothered, but for me it was not good. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

Family Boys Golf Trip

The communication and directions were awesome. The room was very clean and spacious for the four of us. The set up of the separate bedrooms and bathroom worked out really well. The appliances were very clean and were easy to use. The underground parking was an added plus. We had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely book in the complex again.

The place was exactly what my family needed. It made our stay in the area, relaxing, knowing that everything we needed Was made available. Everything was immaculately clean. The indoor parking was A huge bonus I definitely feel I got my moneys worth, and would stay here again the next time We come back

Solara Resort

Everything was great from checking in until check out. The host/property manager was very accomodating and made sure that we have everything we need. The unit was very clean and tidy. They provided clear instructions for the parking and I appreciate that they send us all the details days in advance everything we need to know ahout the unit.I highy recommend this place to anybody visiting Canmore/Banff. It’s a home away from home.
