Our private 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom lakefront cottage sits on over 2.5 acres on the shores of tranquil Deer Lake and is the perfect place for families and friends to get away in any season. During the summer, take a dip in the springfed lake, jump on the water trampoline, or explore the lake in a canoe, kayak or paddle-board. Rent a boat from the nearby marina and fish for bass and pike, play a spirited game of cornhole toss, or just soak up some sun on the docks. Read and relax in the screened-in Muskoka room, enjoy the peaceful views from the upper deck, or enjoy a fire down by the waterfront - the choice is yours. Your summer getaway awaits you!

The peace and tranquility of this property is even further exemplified during the fall months where you can enjoy the beautiful fall colours in all their glory. Go for a paddle on the lake, explore the local trails on your ATV, enjoy a fire at the firepit with a front-seat view of the lake or head to nearby Mikisew Provincial Park for a hike on their nature trails. Nearby Eagle Lake Golf Course is also a great excursion or just sit back to read and relax in front of the cozy wood burning fireplace - the choice is yours. Your fall retreat awaits you!

This fully winterized cottage with electric furnace is also the perfect winter vacation. Play some games with the family or do a puzzle while enjoying the gorgeous snowy views of the lake or take your snowmobile on OFSC trails that cross right in front of the cottage or go skating or snowshoeing on the lake. Nearby Mikisew Provincial Park also offers winter hiking trails, cross country skiing trails or play a game of winter frisbee golf - the choice is yours. Your winter excursion awaits you!

Lovely cottage on the lake

Despite the rain, we had a wonderful and relaxing time. The cottage is very cozy and well maintained. Brad and Penny are terrific hosts. We would love to come back again.

Beautiful

The property is gorgeous with amazing lakeside views. The hosts made us feel very welcome to their ‘home away from home’ We would recommend to anyone! The welcome package was very thoughtful and the cottage had everything we needed!

Amazing little peace of the planet

Thank you Brad and Penny. My family and I enjoyed our stay. So many places to enjoy the view of the peacefull lake wrapped in fall colors. So much to do. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thxs for a wonderful escape.

Peaceful, Comfortable and Easy

It was everything we had hoped it would be. Plenty of toys to play with on and off the water, which kept us pretty active. Super easy check-in and our host was a perfect host. Always available if we needed him. Of course the generous gift basket was a bonus/pleasant surprise. Thanks for everything.

Awesome winter getaway

Great place for us to have some fun in the snow. Comfy inside, great outdoors and a bonus skating and ice fishing. We had an fantastic time. Hosts were great.
