This extended renovated house is located in Varsity Estate, voted for best community in Calgary. The house has a gourmet chef’s kitchen, two master bedrooms and a total of four bedrooms for your complete enjoyment. One of the masters ensuite contains a five-piece spa like bathroom which has a soaker tub and a rain shower with vertical spa. After a day of hiking or sight seeing in the mountains, sit back and relax in the forest like back yard surrounded by the music of birds chirping; or take a leisure walk a few houses down the road and embrace the beauty of Bowmont park ridge overlooking the Bow River. For your night entertainment, walk to the nearby Market Mall to enjoy some fine dining or grab a latest movie.
This house is perfect for multi-generation large family vacation, friends’ get-together staycation, short-term stays while attending university, which is only 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes bus ride. The choices are unlimited. You will leave this place relaxed and rejuvenated.

Please note the completely separately basement is not for rent. It is used by owner occasionally while attending the property. Guests have the exclusively use of upstairs of the house and the entire backyard and front yard while staying at this vacation home.

Great family home!

Was a wonderful location and a beautiful home! Great for a family to stay, beautiful back yard and the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Would recommend booking for your next Calgary stay!

A very nice property. There is no central air conditioning. There is a room cooler in the living room. This could be a problem on hot summer day.Unfortunately the TV was not working when we were there

Calgary family getaway

This property was perfect for our family. It was close to everything we wanted to see, the house was in excellent shape and amenities provided were just what we needed. The owner was very accommodating and we would definitely rent from her again.Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood.

Family reunion

Wonderful location near playground, parks, river walks! We were 2 families of four and the home accommodated us very well. Kitchen was well stocked and the host was very flexible and communicated well.

A rare gem

We stayed in Yana’s house for a family wedding. It was a lovely reunion made perfect by being able to stay in this large comfortable home with the gorgeous garden. The house is very well equipped and a great location. Yana was kind, accommodating and very responsive. This is a rare gem! We will definitely stay again next time we’re in town!

Great place to stay

We stayed in Varsity while our renovations were being completed. Very nice, clean place with great access to shops and major routes. The two master bedrooms were great and the other room combination worked well for our other teen who loves gaming and for working from home. Great high speed internet. Yana is very friendly and helpful and it was a delight to stay at her place!

What a fabulous venue!

We stayed here with my 3 kids, 6, 4 & 2 along with my mum. It was absolutely perfect. Amazing location, all amenities you could need including coffee, filters, sugar, salt etc. and a perfect place to host some family. Yana was amazingly gracious and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend a better place to stay. Thanks again Yana 😊

Beautiful, well appointed home

Yana was kind enough to allow us to host our son's wedding gift opening and the home away from home for ourselves, he and his groomsmen. The house is well situated on a quiet street with a beautiful backyard. Inside is a well featured kitchen with everything you could need for cooking and even entertaining. The livingroom is cosy and the bedrooms are beautiful and relaxing. Major upgrades make you feel like you are staying in a five star hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Good overall

The house is in a nice and safe neighborhood and is very well stocked. Yana was very attentive. My one critique is that there were coffee grounds left in the coffeemaker and it needed a bit of a clean.

Fantastic Stay!

Yana, thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. We had a wonderful stay! The property was as described, welcoming and best of all - clean! The home accommodated our group of 8 with no problem. We enjoyed a morning cup of coffee on the front patio and the afternoon sun on the back patio. The neighborhood is so lovely and easy to find/navigate through. We had all of the comforts of home while visiting Calgary. Thank you again!

Spacious organized

This property had a well organized kitchen with many kitchen utensils and pots and pans and came with a special kettle and a simple coffee maker. The towels were luxurious and soaps and shampoos were plentiful. The neighborhood was very quiet along with a beautiful backyard to enjoy. Upon arrive there were bakery eats and a large bowl of fruit to enjoy.! Only thing that was a little odd was the basement was blocked off and that space was occupied with someone..Over all the visit was very pleasant and enjoyable!

Family Christmas

Our family gathered in this home to celebrate Christmas. My husband and I drove from the coast and our adult children and their 80 year old aunt flew in (during winter storms!) from other parts of the country. We all arrived (finally!) and found this home to be the perfect place to celebrate Christmas. Yana was welcoming and answered all our questions; she had decorated the house for Christmas including a lovely tree and outside lights. The kitchen was perfect to cook a full Christmas dinner for 8 people with everything we needed (including Christmas plates), and there was plenty of room for us all. The house is within walking distance (when it isn't -35!) of a major grocery store and an amazing indoor mall, and the walking and running paths nearby are fabulous for wearing off a big dinner! Thank you Yana for helping make this Christmas so special.

Fantastic property!

Yana was a responsive host that appointed her property well. Although we could not find the laundry machines as listed on the VRBO listing, there were provisions of laundry supplies. It could be a matter that we did not look around enough to find them as our stay was perhaps shorter due to our own circumstances. We really appreciate Yana for taking our short stay into consideration and accepting us as guests. The location was well suited to our travel plans. The amenities in the property were complete enough for us to cook and stay in comfort. We would recommend others considering their stay with Yana if so asked. Thanks again Yana!

Fantastic rental

A group of friends and I stayed at this rental while we attended a week of classes at the u of c. Communication with Yana was always so easy. The rental is incredibly comfortable, tons of amenities, beautiful yard, very quiet and beautiful neighbourhood but close enough to everything you would want. Anytime I’m in Calgary, I will be returning here.
